Given the fact that we do not have a step counter like in the pokemon games, we must use a different hatching method.
Eggs have various options most of which are owner controlled.
1. The Pokemon hatched from the egg is the gender of your choice.
2. The Pokemon hatched from the egg is your choice. (No starters, legendaries, and non-gender pokemon. No OC Pokemon and no extreme pokemon)
There are 2 ways to hatch the Eggs, and you must choose one.
Hatching by Plot: This means you can choose when the egg hatches. However by no means can you have it hatch when you have just recieved it. You must advance far enough into the RP so that you have had it with you for a decent amount of time.Give it some time. This method is great for creating a plot for your newborn pokemon.
Hatching by Post: Depending on the final stage of its evolution, the Egg will hatch once the number of needed posts is reached. Here is the Post Requirement for pokemon.
All pokemon whose final evolution is at level 50 or more requires 15 posts to hatch their egg.
All Pokemon whose final evolution is 36-49 require 10 Posts to hatch their egg.
All pokemon whose final evolution is at 35 and below require 5 posts to hatch their egg.
All Pokemon whose final evolution is rached by using an Item or Stone require 10 posts to hatch their egg.
All pokemon whose final evolution requires any other method other than the ones mentioned above require 10 posts.
