Siha was starting to feel a bit more confident about her duties as a guide. She still needed a bit of help here and there, and as such was only doing short guides for now. She knew that she was going to need more practice, but guiding one or a few visitors all over the place wasn't really the way to do it. Still, she wasn't going to let it get her down too much. Not anymore.

"Aaah, I need to destress," she sighed, stretching out as she waited to see if there were any new visitors that needed a guide. Their business would fluctuate, and it never seemed to be constant. Which was probably a good thing, because then she could help out others that might need the eye of a guide...or just Siha's eye for interest in the healing arts.

Idothea was off on her own for the day, having left Msingi with her sister for the time being. Carina was enjoying tending to her shrine but was finding it got lonely between visits. Thea's plan was to have Msingi alternate for a while, she didn't mind being off by herself so much anyway. Without Msingi to help her find someone to show around, Thea was headed towards the borders, pretty sure that she knew where would be the easiest to spot someone from. She had spent quite some time making sure she knew her way around, and she was a quick learner.

"Oh!" she exclaimed when she spotted Siha (who would be very hard not to spot) nearby on her walk outside. She didn't hesitate before heading over to talk to her. She recognized her as one of the pride lions, just not one she had had a chance to really talk to yet.

"Good day!"

Siha blinked as she turned around, as she hadn't really been expecting someone to appear so suddenly. She should, really, since the lands were starting to populate (if only with little ones at the moment), and it was fairly open to strangers. She couldn't help a smile, and bobbed her head in greeting.

"Yes, it is a good day," she replied. "I've seen you around but haven't caught a name. I'm Siha, nice to meet you." And maybe she'd find something to do! Or...really, she should be studying the paths between shrines, maybe Siha could glean a little information from her too, no matter what her job was.

"It's nice to meet you, too, Siha," she said brightly, "My name is Idothea." She didn't bother mentioning that she'd seen Siha around, she'd just be repeating everything Siha had said.

"You must be a guide, too?" she guessed, placing the blue lioness in the same category as herself for some reason though she couldn't say for sure why. It might explain why she was also out this way too, but then.. that didn't necessarily mean anything, either.

Siha nodded. "Yes," she answered quietly. "I am a guide, but not a very good one, however." She was far from a quick learner. She still needed to ask Salma if it was ok to figure out some sort of markers to make sure she was going in the right direction. Maybe she'd get brave enough to ask soon. She should just learn this like it was no problem.

"I'm just having problems remembering what shrine is where." She added on at the end, letting her gold eyes wander a bit before looking at Idothea's matching ones. Hopefully she wouldn't be too amused, not that Siha would blame her. They had been living here long enough to have most of the other guides doing just fine.

The more Thea interacted with other lions, the more she appreciated the differences between them all. Carina had always had an easier time than she did, but Thea had an easier time developing mental strategies to keep up with her sister.

"It takes some practice," she said kindly, "I don't think I would have learned so fast if I hadn't had Msingi helping me. She's a little songbird, gets a better view of the area than I do."

She smiled.

Siha's eyes widened for a moment. She glanced upwards towards the sky, then back down at Idothea. "Ooooh." She was wondering what it might be like from the sky. "I wonder...if perhaps I could find a little bird to help me." Because it was just that easy, wasn't it?

Her tail twitched, thinking about it. Planning on 'catching' a bird wouldn't really keep the conversation going, though, so on she had to go. "I guess I can try to find a bird later. Thanks for the tip though!" she chirped.

"Have you had many visitors to handle lately? I only do the ones that are visiting the few shrines I remember."

"I don't see why not, there are birds living around here," she said thoughtfully, looking around them. The territory they occupied was so variable, there were all kinds of different birds to be found around here. She wasn't sure how many would volunteer to help out the pride here but there was bound to be some. Msingi stuck with them, after all. Maybe she could help.

"I've had a few, that's another advantage of having Msingi around," she said, chuckling, "She's good at spotting visitors."

Yes, Msingi was very helpful. She could probably be an efficient guide all by herself, really.

"Which shrines do you know how to find?"

Siha's ears folded against her skull. "To be honest, the best one I know is Souls...but I think that's just because it's hard to forget about it's keeper," she smiled sheepishly. Not really a nice way to remember, but it worked. "I know Seasons too, but....that's it." And to think that more were getting planned every day, even if there weren't enough keepers around yet.

"Hopefully I can remembered the ones that we have up before more are built..." and Siha only knew that would happen, especially when the current cubs grew up. Some of them might want to be a keeper!

Thea snickered at the way Siha remembered how to find Souls. It was a very good way to remember things, having something interesting to attach to that memory. She remembered best how to find Culture because that was where her sister was, after all.

"That's a good way to remember," she commented, though she wasn't sure how to help otherwise. She didn't know Siha well enough to suggest any particular methods that might help her. It would probably just take practice.

"We could walk around seeing what we can find, if you like?" she suggested, "If you'd like company doing something like that."

"Ah, I guess," she said, replying to Idothea's first comment. Just because the keeper was a little strange didn't make it a good reason to remember. Oh well. She sighed slightly, wondering if that might make it easier to remember by picking things that made the keepers a little...different? Maybe. Ugh she didn't know.

Siha blinked, eying Idothea curiously. "Ok. I almost wonder if we could find a bird to help me," she chuckled as she got herself ready to wander around a bit. "I'm sure they'd remember more than I ever could." Ugh, directions.

"We could go find Msingi, she might have more insight on finding a bird to help you," she suggested, taking the comment about finding a bird seriously despite the chuckle, smiling, "She's with my sister at the shrine for Culture right now, and once you know who's there, maybe you'll remember that one better, too."

Carina could be memorable, couldn't she? If Thea showed her to one specific shrine and introduced her to its keeper, surely that would help more than finding as many as possible? Thea and Carina could be the association that made Culture's shrine stand out.

Siha's eared perked upwards, very interested in what Idothea had in mind. "That sounds perfect, actually. I'm sure if I start getting to know the keepers, it might be easier to remember things..." And perhaps try to avoid the shrines of keepers she didn't like, if there were any. Hm.

"I like that idea. I'll be glad to properly meet your sister too!" She felt a little skip in her step, and renewed hope. Everyone was so helpful, and she was determined to not be a failure at this. She would be a great guide. ....someday.

"Perfect," she said brightly, turning herself around, "It's this way, I'll show you. This one's the easy to find. Carina picked somewhere central so there's all kinds of things around to help you figure it out."
