He feel in the water and as he came back up for air the boat hit his head making him black out and starts to sink to the bottom."oh what now in my life. To die like this. Never to see my life go on? Nao"I want to go up to the surface...see the world, from a different perspetic" Softly a voice murmured, gentle and sweet, while longingly, two sets of eyes, one green and one golden, stared upwards towards their 'sky'. A sky in which fish floated, and where strange things, metallic, or wooden appeared. The life, under the water.
"But Willow! I-if we go up there...father says it's dangerous" The owner of those soft green eyes spoke, gentle locks of white and red floating beside his face. He bit his lip, softly, as his eyes lowered. Going up there, seeing their world. It was somthing he wanted too, yet somthing, that had taken the life of his mother.
A hand reached out, grabbing him, and within seconds, he was being pulled up.
"Come on Nao, it'll be fun!" He was dragged high, taken up towards the surface. The...surface. This was bad. Nao shook his head, hair flickering in the water, swishing softly around him.
"N-no, Willow we-" Somthing bright struck from above, and Willow, who was higher up, caught a flash of silver. Yet there was little time to think, to even see what it was. Within seconds, a boat came down, crashing, and parting the two boys from each other. Nao let loose a startled cry as instantly, he was tossed back.
More streaks of light crossed up above, and frantically, he swam towards the area Willow and him had been torn apart, but through the wood, there was nothing. No sign of his friend, somthing sinking caught his eye.
"Willow?!" He pushed forwards, salmon red tail frantically splashing in the water, popelling him forwards, yet upon arrival, a two legged creature met his gaze. Green eyes widened, and without thinking, he grabbed the lifeless body, swiming too the surface where the wooden structure had once been, and with his slim arms locked around the males shoulders, Nao swam towards the lands of upper world, the humans head above the water, and soon, pressed agaisnt a rock.
He wasn't breathing.Small hands pressed to a chest, before reaching over, he sealed his lips over the humans.

Alex feels lips and soon his body feel warm."what the?"as his eyes open slowly to see another man who was all wet"Oh my head"he says as he feels like trying to wake up yet he love the lips touches so he lets the other man help him.
when they where done alex blushes"who are you?"he looks around"idid not see you out and thank you"he hugs him

Human's needed air. That much Nao knew. He was smart, and he had listened to their teachers. He also knew what the risks were. Helping a surface dweller, could be the end of you, and this, was what he was risking. He blew more air into the human's mouth, heart thumping within his chest. Was it working? He wasn't sure. He pushed himself further onto the rock, tail, sliding over the rock, gleaming scales sparkling softly, while once more, he pressed his lips to the other, unaware that the human was concious. Finally, he pulled back, a pair of eyes staring up at him. Panic filled him.
"A-ah, n-no one!" He needed to dive back under, to hide himself, yet before Nao had the chance, he was grabbed, pulled firmly against a chest, his bare skin, meeting soaked clothe, and suddenly, his tail slipped off the rock, threatening to drag him and the human he had just saved under.
Nao squeaked, holding onto the human as his tail was once again submerged, upper body supported by the human who held him.
"Ah, please, let go...I-I...have to go" He couldn't let him see his tail, or even one of his scales. It would be disasterous if he did...

Alex looks at him and smiles"i knew a merman and mermands where real. I knew and you saved me"he hugs him and then lete him go"go on and get out of here. I will never tell any one what happen ok?"alex kisses him one last time before he looked above to rocks and he could see he near a light house so he could call for help"take care "

It seemed his tail had already been spotted. The shimmering mass of salmon red stayed within the water, while his bare upper body was held, still cupped within the warmth of a human, a human who had yet to release him. Yet eventually, he was let go.
Briefly his body went under, ahir once again wet and smiming up, his head broke the surface, wet hair clinging to a pale face while green eyes watched the man who...willing was letting him go.
Humans were meant to be cruel, violent creatures. This one, seemed far from it.
"Why are..-" His words were cut off, cheeks reddeneding and watching the man, curioustity got the better of him. He swam around the rock, watching him.
"...Why are you letting me go?" He wanted to know. Nao had to know. Humans weren't suppose to act, so kind.

Alex turns and smiles"oh you need stay away from here.I dont want you to be hurt because i love mermaids and merman and i want to love them forever"alex kisses her cheek"please go i beg you before some one see you"he says and hugs him"i dont want you to be killed or study by evil people or the goverment "he tears up because he was happy to see a merman

The human smiled towards him. Nao's head dipping somewhat beneath the water, till only his eyes and finge remained above. Silently he listened, swimming closer towards the stranger, and curiousily, his head came out of the water once more. He dared not speak, unsure of what to say to a landlover. Lips soon touched his cheeks and within seconds, he was hugged once more.
"Ah...hmm" Silently, he pushd himself from the other, and with one fleeting glanced at the man, he made move too dive under the water, tears catching on the humans face. At such a sight, his heart clenched.
Why was a man he had met only barely 5 seconds ago close to full blown tears?
Scientists, words like that, made little sense to him. He didn't understand, but even so, seeing those crystal droplets, Nao felt he should do somthing. Not only that, but somthing inside him, wanted to come back. To learn.
"...My name is Nao...if you, ever get lost, call out too me" And with that spoken, Nao dived beneath the water, hoping he had done the right thing. From a distance, he still watched the human, until finally, when he could no longer see the man, he began to return home.

goodbye Nao "Alex says and he walks to the light and calls for help. When they come for him he told them that he lanned on the rocks and that he hit his head hard and yet he was ok. He went to the Drs and they cheek him to see if he was ok. But during that time he could only thing of Nao and how he was a nice merman. He wanted to see him again and yet he did not want him to be hurt.
Days later
Alex is at his beach house in his night cloths watching the moon and ocean work together. He wanted to say nao and yet he did. Finally he goes to the water and says "nao....i want to see you again "

It had been a week, a week of waiting, wondering and learning, and Nao had heard nothing of the human. When his best friend Willow went to the surface, he would follow, curious and, somewhat hopefully of meeting a human again, but of course, he didn't tell his friend about such a thing. After all, it was, just a one off meeting, and truely, by now, that was how it was looking.
"Nao! Come on, we better go. I'm HUNGRY!!" Willow winded, swimming around him while waving his skinny arms wildly in theair. Willow's golden eyes watched the redhead, who merely chuckled, reaching out to patt his locks of black and white, before smiling somewhat gently, and weakly.
"Yea, yea. Your always hungry" Nao hummed. With a flick of his tail, he swam to the left, swiring around his friend.
"I'm gonna look about a bit more, okay?" He smiled softly, eager to move on. Although he had met no humans, Nao had found a love, an interest, of watching the birds within their sky. The birds were beautiful, but unlike their stunning fish, he could not reach them by swimming.
"Tch. Fine then, but if I eat ALL those yummy coral sticks don't come crying to me!" Willow stated with the crossing of his arms. Nao could only chuckle, and playfully, he swam forward, chasing his friend away who went down laughing, and once Willow was gone. Nao swam up to the surface world, leaping from the waters too seat himself upon a rock, watching the birds as they flew.
Gently a warm smile seated itself upon his face. Yet that smile was soon too fade. The tides picked up somewhat, and within seconds, he was swept from his spot, pushed further west by a strong wave, one of which, he had not been expecting. Bobbing in the water, small hands reached up, and delicate fingers brushed the locks from his hair, and then, he heard it.
Soft at first, the simply word, his name, seemed to catch his ears, or prehaps his heart. But who knew. Green orbs glanced upwards, sparkling softly, before with strong beats of his salmon pink tail, he was off, swimming in the direction his heart told him go.
Sadly, though, his concern upon safety had seemed to drop, and he failed to notice what lurked beneath the water, hunting him, as he traveled.

Alex waited for 10 mim and yet he no nao"nao"he said a little louder. He made sure no one was near by. Alex house was on a small island that alot of people dont go to.He had tv but yet he had the ocean to swim in. He sit on the beach waiting for his mermaid."he going to be here....he has to be"he sighs sadly."he might have someone else.....i should have know a guy like that has someone to care about.....i was a fool"alex got up and went back into the house and then got his swimsuit. He went to his deck and began to change into it for a nice morning swim

Nao kept swimming, as fast as he could in the direction his heart lead him. He swore he could hear his name, if only faintly, carried by the wind of the surface world. Yet still, he wasn't close to the source. He was no where near it. He dived beneath the surface, eyes following schools of fish which seemed to...scatter from his sight? A frown marred his face, and then realisation sunk in.
The schools of fish parted, and Nao swam, moving as fast as he could. He should have gone back with Willow. The waters swirled around him, his pace as quick as possible, he went low, to find coverage, daring not too look behind him. Yet his heart, it was clenching, twisting. He wanted to find the caller of his name, but-Somthing rammed into the side of him. He screamed.
Nao spun round, a silvery flash darting through the waters, aiming for him. It was large, that much was noticeable, a shark of sorts, yet what kind he didn't know. Nor wish to find out. He broke for the surface. If Nao, could make it too a rock, the shark wouldn't be able to get him. He could breath on land, he could rest on the rock. The shark...couldn't get him without being beached.
Glancing back, startled green eyes watched as the silver beast approached. It was faster than him. Finally, he breached the surface, jumping out like a dolphin aiming for a set of rocks. The beast following him at a frightened pace.
"Ah!" Landing hard onto the rocky surface, he scratched his tail, ripping off a few of the delicate scales, but that was the least of his worries. Somthing landed on him, arms grabbing his. It was a shark, but not that of the animal kind. Even so, Nao feared his life, his captor leant down, mouth beside his ear.
"Get a little lost, did we?" A cool sadistic voice called. Nao gulped in fear.

alex for some reason could hear the gulp and he knew it was nao"he in trouble "he thought and he puts on his swimsuit and he ran inside his house to grab his spear gun to fish with"hold on Nao i;m comming"alex ran outside
as he ran towards the glup nosie he began to wonder."How could i have heard that. My hearing is not that good.In facted i can hear well and yet i could hear a glup from miles a away. how?"he said and he ran fast towards that sound

The body above him pressed down, the rough underside of the shark pressing to his own scales, while the tail fin swayed agaisnt his own. Nao couldn't move his body at all, he was pinned down, trapped, and who knew what the beast would do to him. He clenched his hands into fists biting his lip as he shook. The shark was playing with him, watching him with hawk like eyes, and when the time was right, he was certain the shark would kill him. Nao, didn't want to die. Mer's always were taken away by sharks. To do what, he didn't know, but most definately, it was meat.
"You know...Mer meat, is the sweetest delicacy in the sea" Nao paled at those words. He was the sharks...dinner?
"But, there are other uses for your kind" That face moved closer to his skin, and wet strands of hair trailed along his slowly drying skin. Lips touched his bare shoulder, and visably, Nao tensed.
"You'd make a wonderful little play thing" The shark grinned, his tongue lapping up the water on his shoulder, before soon, those jaws clamped down onto his skin.
"AHH! S-stop it!" Nao squealed, terrified. The bite, although hard, thankfully was not one to rip him to shreds with, but like all bites, it was certain there would be a mark. He turned his head, green hues finally meeting the man who pinned him down, long silver hair draped over his form, while golden eyes stared down at him with a pedartory gaze.
"Hmm, such a sweet little play thing, lets get you home" He smirked, chuckling darkly, and moving his hands, he grabbed Nao's, clenching them together.
"L-let me go!"
