Gaia's promised Dumpster Dive has finally come to us. What do you think? Did you get anything good so far? Anything else you'd care to say about it?

So long, it looks to me as though if you want, you can just endlessly get. You can try again every so... Often? I don't know the specifics, but I'd be interesting if anyone knows that wait period on that. Also, I see that the donate button sometimes comes up... Sometimes doesn't. Anyone know the rhyme or reason to that?
So far I've gotten a few nice things. Of course there's the cheap crap (the obligatory starter polo that DC made us hate so much, for example) but I got some pretty nice stuff. The Purple Wool Top was a quick 300-some gold, and the Xmas 2k10 Event Santa's Bag of Toys was nice, since I missed getting it when it was offered, as it was one of the days of my trip, but the best was easily the Ghost Skin 2k10. Sure, I already have one, but I think I'll hand on and let it mature in value.
EDIT: That's one question answered. You can do it every five minutes.

There's a 10k MP value cap for items you can donate. Simply to keep people accidentally donating something really valuable. It was originally 1k.

Who would have guessed that the old freebie Fai Coat would be pushing a worth of 6 K? That's as unlikely as it being based on an article of clothing designed for a man, but wouldn't you know it, both are true. It makes me glad that I took the time to pick through the dumpster.

Krissi-Chaos Do we know how long the Dumpster Dive is gonna go on for? I'd wager as long as Fishing, Blackjack, or zOMG. I saw no indication whatsoever that it was to be a limited engagement.

Today I got (among other things) Monarch Headphones. Their current lowest buy now price is 18,000. I guess it matured after the owner threw it away, as that's valuable enough (8 K over) that it wouldn't be pitchable, given the 10 K limit.

I haven't gotten anything worth more than 500g, but I have found plenty of people who've thrown away game items. I send those people a PM telling them I buy game items, and it's really helped out my store.

I just got a Holography. I "sold" it, not on the marketplace but "back to the stores," in other words made it as though the item never was and exists no longer.
Not only did I get 10 K gold, but also won the opportunity to destroy a RIG-generated chance item. Huzzah!

I just found a second gen Catastrophe. I haven't priced one of those, lately, but hey... Free Cash-Shop evolving item, and I'd be very much surprized to learn that they cost no more than the Titan's Legacy.

Matasoga I just found a second gen Catastrophe. I haven't priced one of those, lately, but hey... Free Cash-Shop evolving item, and I'd be very much surprized to learn that they cost no more than the Titan's Legacy. They're going for nearly 9,000 gold right now. That's quite the dumpster find.

For those that don't remember, Light Spirit was one of last years monthly CI's along with its opposing option of Muramasa.
