Namine sat alone on the bleachers watching the others practice their moves, she held her bat plushy tightly in her hands as she staired at some of the older circus people talking to eachother like friends oh how I envy them she thought coldly wishing she could make a friend.

City's breaking down on a camel's back,
They just have to go 'cause they don't hold back,
So all you fill the streets, it's appealing to see,
You won't get out the county, 'cause you're bad and free...
Claus sat alone in the middle row, his eyes wandering emptily over the group of performers. He had to wait until they were all finished socializing, the ringmaster had said. He always had to wait... and there as no way a performance like him could skip a rehearsal. So he obeyed and waited, jealously looking over the others. They were all freaks; why must he be excluded? Why didn't anyone want to talk to him, hmm?
While Claus continued to scan the area, he noticed a young girl sitting in the bleachers. Why wasn't she socializing with the rest, he wondered. Curiously, he watched her. It wasn't like he had much else to do, after all. He almost called out to her to ask why, but hesitated. She probably would ignore him or move away like the rest.

Namine stiffened as she felt someone’s eyes on her she glanced around curiously looking for who was starring at her. Namine's eye's landed on the older boy who was looking at her, she smiled her usual shy smile then looked down and away to scared to utter a word to the older boy.

Nima sat away from everybody and stared at the ground not wanting to speak to any of the other preformers due to the fact that they all hated her. She layed down on the bleacher and stared at the top of the tent sighing softly.

"Figures as much." he spoke aloud in an almost innocent monotone voice, turning back to gaze emptily ahead of himself. "I should have known... it's because the ringmaster warned them, right? He must have warned them. That's why... they all don't like to talk to me."
He noticed himself speaking allowed and quit immediately. He wasn't sure if that would be breaking the rules... talking to himself while the others were still in the room. He felt more people around him... one more to be exact. He lightly pushed his arm against the annoyingly soft cloth his straightjacket was made of. Of course, no avail. Giving up on his attempt to turn and see the girl, he sighed in defeat and layed back in his seat.

Namine looked back at the older boy after hearing him talk aloud "i-is something wr-wrong?" she asked in her low shy voice hoping she wasn't being rude. Namine thought for a moment thinking she might have done something to insult the boy "d-did I do s-something t-to insult you?" he voice came out little panicked not wanting another reason for her to get smacked.

"Insult me..." he said without shifting his gaze. "I don't believe so." Clause smiled faintly and turned to face her. "You wouldn't be frightened to come sit beside me, right? I'm afraid I have problems with my hearing..." he attempted to move his arms again, only to signal he was safe. "It's not like I could hurt you or anything."

Namine sighed with relief as she stood up and walked over to the older boy taking a seat next to him, Namine smiled and looked up at the older boy "whats your name?" she asked while trying to stop herself from stuttering as she spoke.

Nima sat up and looked at the girl speaking to the older boy. He seemed around her age."I wouldn't speak to him if I were you!" She called out to her."He like's to eat little girls!"

He managed to say "Claus--" before the girl he had sensed interrupted him.
"He likes to eat little girls!" she said!
"Why don't you mind your own business?!" he panicked, not wanting the girl to be scared away. He wanted her to trust him. No one else did, after all. He wasn't as hungry as he was lonely. "We all... have our own problems."

Namine looked back at the older girl who was laying on the bleachers "I-I don't believe you.... you might be like the others that are always trying to scare me..." she said with a hint of acid in her voice
