≫FAMILY RECORDS≪

The gentle babble of the river leads you further north to the very feet of the mountains. A black and white teepee with brightly colored Soquilis running across one side slowly becomes visible through the trees.

The smell of Soquili is strong in the area, but there isn't one insight. The soft screech of a peregrine falcon is heard from a tree nearby and a young Lakota woman steps out of the teepee. She moves her hands fluidly as she speaks, "Hau, traveler. Are you wanting to know the ancestors of your Soquili friend? I watch all from a distance and have learned of their tree." She smiled brightly and beckons to follow her inside.

≫PRICE GUIDE≪

I can trace the lineage of your companions, create simple images to save space in your small dwellings, or even help you guide lost travelers."

≫Family Trees≪
Where did "Suzie" get those markings? What does "Micheal's" great grandparents look like? You can see all the generations of your Soquili's family in just one image, starting at the very beginning. You can display this in your teepee or just have it as a personal keepsake. This will also help colorists identify some of the possible throwbacks for breedings (remember to still link all ancestors).

Example: Ever and Tawali are the starting parents, so the price begins at 1k. They have 5 daughters (400*5) so that is another 2k. Add the starting price and the additions is a 3k tree ((400*5)+1,000 = 3,000g). Then say one of their daughters is lifemated, that's 400g and they have 2 children equaling 1,200 total to the existing tree I, Lady Evelyn Nyht, has made for you previously. Now that lifemating is broken and you need to update the children to reflect that break. For those two children it's just 200 gold.

≫FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS≪

  • Why do you trace the trees on the mother's side? Shouldn't it be the father?
    That is the Christian way of tracing your roots. The Native Americans traced through the mother because they found her more important than a male. Why? Because she was the bringer of life. She was a mother, a caregiver, and often held a status position in the tribe.
  • Why do I need to give you the Soquili roleplay colors?
    The roleplay color is for the square that goes around the Soquili and helps identify the branches.
  • What if I can't find a roleplay color?
    Then I'll pick a color based on their appearance. If they're a generation, just toss me the link to their starting female ancestor.
  • Will you price check for me?
    Yes.
  • What if some of the family are still baskets or foals?
    You can go ahead and pay for those generation Soquili to be put in the tree. However, I will not put in any stage except adults, so once those generations have grown into adulthood I will place them in their squares and send you an updated tree.
