~Order of Messiah~

Despite the religious, cult-like connotations of the title of their organization, the Order of Messiah is actually much less strange on the surface than one might be lead to believe. Normal members, the ones who have not yet been possessed, dress in normal clothes, lead normal lives, and come to the building where their group gathers every so often to pick up the new directives of the Order. For the most part, it is a very independent group...joining together only so that they can prevent other Reasons from being realized and so that their Leader might one day give rise to the Reason of Musubi after Conception. The Order of Messiah itself has made a home out of a local bar which had closed after the arrival of Junes in town, but reopened after the end of the Lockdown to take advantage of the sudden reintroduction of tourism to the town.

Its quiet atmosphere and excellent drinks make it a prime destination for those looking to unwind during the evenings, and for those who believe in Musubi, the back rooms are particularly interesting as the only place to meet and speak with the Leader.

Tawara Bunshichi

As the Bugatti Veyron pulled up in front of the bar in Inaba, the expensive car making not a sound as it stopped, it's driver grinned. Despite protests from his weakling advisors he wanted a drink and a chance at some particular company, thus here he was forsaking his own personal bar, and traveling to Inaba (though with the fastest land vehicle made it wasnt quite as big a trip for him...) just to come to this bar. As the door to the vehicle rolled open, Tawara stepped out, flexing his blackened arms and stretching his clawed fingers as he let the door close itself, a repeating beeping sound letting him know that it was locked and secure. The large man walked confidently into the building, not even bothering to look at the weaklings around him as he sat down right up against the bar hooking a black clawed finger into his sunglasses and pulling them off to look at the bartender with blood red eyes that you could just tell were meant to glow. "Get me... a glass of your best scotch... and she probably already knows that I'm here... but tell your boss... the real one, that someone wants to talk to her." He said simply, rolling is eyes and waving his hand as a gesture to the bartender to get to it.

Couldn't it all be more interesting? Well...she supposed not. She must have been quite a sight though, sitting on her ornately-decorated chair in the back of this fairly nice, but ultimately normal bar with a glass of alcohol of some sort held lightly between her fingers, a few strong-looking punks sitting around, doting on her every whim and yet a look on her face that was entirely unimpressed with the situation, or herself. Yes, she just plain looked bored...maybe tired a little? Her well-glossed lips left a thin, barely-visible imprint on the rim of her clear glass where she had sipped from the clear-looking drink within. If you asked her, she might have even told you that it was fairly good...one of the reasons she made certain the bar always had some in stock. Otherwise, nothing about her current station held much interest for her. All she knew was that she was here, that her numbers were growing slowly, but surely, and that even if she couldn't rely entirely on the morons around her, the more that congregated (especially the less useless ones) the more she would be able to get out of them. Her mind functioned like that regularly...as though she were the center of some grand scheme, her own universe, and that those who followed her should be pleased to do so. She didn't mind them, really, so long as they didn't bother trying to tell her what to do or direct her in any fashion. Hell, she might even admit to liking one or two of them. But that didn't mean she would hesitate to send them out on the worst sort of mission the moment she thought that they would be useful for it. It wasn't callous in her mind...it was the sacrifice they would all have to make eventually for their Reason to be realized, and when it was, they would all receive their just desserts...in this life or the next. Thinking about all that wasn't really hard for her, though...it was more of a reflex than anything, programming that had been instilled in her from the beginning. She had seen so many people acting in so many different manners that there was very little which surprised her anymore. And when she felt that familiar, mildly offensive presence outside of her door, stepping onto territory he knew he had no right encroaching upon? Well, it couldn't be helped if she actually welcomed a little bit of a respite from the doldrums of normality.

Her bartender didn't even need to ask her what to do as he came through the door. Her free hand motioned lazily to let the visitor in, waving off the beer jockey with a flip of her wrist.

"It seems as thought it can't be helped," she muttered in a quiet, refined sort of voice...though the small hint of energy within it was probably the first sign of such she had shown all day, "that man won't take 'no' for an answer." Life would be so much more interesting, so much more rewarding once she had given birth to the world beholden to the Reason of Musubi. Until then, distractions such as this would have to suffice in easing her boredom. Bringing her glass to her lips, she took one more small sip of her drink as she waited for her guest to arrive. Troublesome as he was, he was one of a precious few who could still manage to provide her with a little entertainment. His strength was certainly impressive...though when push came to shove, she was still confident that she could manage in the end. They were comparable in skill, but she fancied herself the wiser combatant...which is where she believed she would have her edge when push finally came to shove. Such a belief was only natural, though...if she thought any less of herself, she would have no business seeking to give life to her Reason in the first place.

Tawara Bunshichi

Tawara looked up from the bar, smirking and shaking his head as he felt the Beautiful Banchou, taking his glass as the bar tender set the tumbler filled with the golden brown liquid in front of him. He stood up, glass in hand as he walked towards the door that obviously led to the back area looking at the men sitting around hit as they glared at him, knowing he wasn't supposed to be here. Of course... they knew they couldn't do anything about it in the first place but that thought just made it all the more fun to poke around. He reached out grasping the handle, twisting it firmly with one clawed hand and pushing the door open as he strode in, a bored smile adorning his face as he raised the hand he had opened the door with in a slight wave. "Hello there Aleph, always good to lay eyes on you." He starts even as he lets his empty hand swing back lazily, seemingly missing the edge of the door, causing his grin to widen as the door shuts itself behind him anyways. He enjoyed using that little effect in the most mundane ways... He took a sip of the contents of his glass as he approached the Beautiful Banchou, grabbing chair with his free hand and pulling it in front of him, turning it so that the back of the chair was facing her and sitting in it with his legs straddling the back of the chair, resting his arms on the chairs back lazily crossed over each other. "So, how are things on the Inaba front? I hear business is going well." He continues, obviously not really interested in this small talk, but starting into none the less. He glanced around at her immediate company, wondering what kind of people she kept on hand, and could only smirk obviously looking down on them. They were nothing like or compared to his Murim he thought to himself... though you could call his Murim a unique bunch.

For someone who was as notably lazy as he was, he was always a bit of a show off. Her half-interested scoff as he slid through the door, the thing closing behind him without his actually touching it was evidence enough of how she felt about that. She didn't have the will to be upset about his intrusion, really, and she knew full well that his coming here so openly meant that he wasn't intending to make a fight of it. It would be pointless to fight right now anyway; only after the Conception could the leaders really begin to do battle with one another towards any sort of a real conclusion. If one of them died now, they would only be replaced by someone new before then...it didn't mean they necessarily wouldn't fight eventually, even before the proper time, but Aleph had assessed rather conclusively that there wasn't going to be a fight between the two of them this time. Which...meant that he had only come by to annoy her, maybe rub in the strength of his organization a little bit, maybe some other base instinct, she didn't really know or care. Her blue eyes found her guest the instant he came into the room and followed him with sharp precision, her body gaining the slightest edge of tension again as she leaned forward in her chair, setting her elbow upon a desk in front of her and her chin inside of her upturned palm. She wanted to smirk back at him and didn't. Too much energy, would be pointless and only fool the b*****d into thinking she cared about petty things like these. Something about not encouraging them...she had heard it phrased a lot of different ways. Still, she couldn't resist letting her feelings be known when he cast her that bored smile and wave. Good to see her? Heh, was that how he greeted all his theoretical enemies?

"Tawara Bunshichi...wish I could say the same," she drawled as she took another sip, looking at the man through tired eyes, "and my business isn't really your concern, is it?" Her voice was soft, her tone lacking any of the normal vitriol you might expect from a comment like that. It seemed that she just didn't particularly care for the small talk, that she had spent more than enough time doing the things she did to know that he didn't really care about all that, either. Unnecessary things were best left unsaid. Too many fights in history had arisen from misunderstandings based on things that never should have even been spoken. It was better to be up front about what you wanted, the same way it was better to pursue those things by your own means. That was the way of the world...and the Reason of Musubi. "But we both know you didn't come down here to talk about my business, so why don't you get to the point?" Aleph continued after a few moments, her voice becoming a little more energetic than before, perhaps a little challenging, "Unless you'd rather ask me about the weather, next."

Crixus Akumu
The Order of Messiah
---------------------------------------------

Crixus merely sat lazily, in the corner of the back room where the Beautiful Banchou had so gently been sitting in her wonderful chair. He watched her from the table, she was a magnificent creature (as were practically all women to Crix) how she so nonchalantly ruled over the masses was confusing and yet it seemed only right. Crixus had yet to see what exactly Aleph's abilities were and yet he still felt as though he was out of her league when it came to abilities. Maybe it was the fact that she was the leader of this group that seemed to have many members that also shared the same power as the two or maybe it was the feeling Crix seemed to get in his arm whenever he was close to her, as if the demon inside of him was trying to alert him of her unrevealed powers, or maybe it was just Crix's fondness of her that really influenced his thoughts about her the most. Regardless of what the reason, Crix knew not to cross her although he wouldn't have to motivation to even if he did have the power. Crix was a bit on the lazy side, so when he displayed looks of boredom or drowsiness, it was most likely because he purposely put himself into a boring or sleepy situation so that he wouldn't have to use up any energy on actually doing something.

The very thought of actually doing work sent a slight shiver down his spine..no wait..it was the feeling of another stronger being, much like Gorgeous Lady Aleph, entering the back room. Crixus' arm gave him a feeling of the man that was so dense that it seemed slightly poisonous. As said before, it was much like Lady Aleph's but it was allot more..wild or barbaric while Lady Aleph's seemed to refined and cold. It seemed as though each would be at a natural clash but they seemed to get along quite well as they entered into slight small talk. Well they do say opposites attract Crix thought with a slight shrug as his blue eyes analyzed the other powerful being in the room besides Lady Aleph. He was quite large and, like Crix, had a demon arm..but he seemed to have two which most likely meant that he had at least twice Crix's natural ability which was never reassuring when one didn't know if he was friend or foe.

Crix put the strange feeling aside for the moment though as he tried to focus back on his drink. He lifted the glass of a slightly tinted drink with his wrapped, demonic, arm and examined it intently before taking a few gulps and setting it back down. Much to Blake's displeasure, the drink was apple juice and not any form of liquor for he was not at the drinking age yet..well legally anyway. He would have maybe been able to get away with it by saying it was for lady Aleph but the bartender wouldn't believe him for he did not wear the uniform that he assumed most other 'possessed' members wore. He did have it..somewhere, he just couldn't work up the energy to actually go out and look for it. Before Crix could let out another sigh at his pathetic apple juice, he heard the rather witty response of his leader and snickered a bit. "hehe, weather" Crix quietly said to himself as he continued with his lazy-man business.

Tawara Bunshichi

Tawara let his head tilt to the side at her first comment, a fake look of hurt and disappointment washing over his features as she continued. Was her business any of his concern? Well no, and even then asking about it was pointless when he could probably have his financial advisors pull up their info but it was all beside the point that he didn't care in the first place. As she continued however, her tone picking up playful and challenging notes Tawara grinned, bringing his glass to his lips and tilting it back letting the golden brown liquid wash over his tongue, savoring the taste before he swallowed it down looking around for a window then shrugging slightly when he couldn't find one. "Well... on the subject of weather it was fairly cloudy out when I came in, always good for a drive, though if I wanted to keep wasting your time with small talk I'd ask you about cars." He said jokingly, his voice gaining a hint of sarcasm for the comment. Though, it was true, if he had wanted to fill their obviously finite time with small talk and simple banter it would be based around cars, the one thing of material concern he was interested in. Though that was only because of the definition of 'Muscle Cars' and how they could be more and more powerful (or at least their engines could) and obviously the strongest man alive would have to drive the strongest car... right?

However, the Banchou was correct he was here to talk about something, even if that something wasn't necessary to be discussed like this. "Well, if you want to ruin the good time we could of had, there was one thing I might want to talk about. Word through grapevine is that my association will be hosting a... tournament open to the public to see who the best fighter throughout the area is... I figured I would stop by let you know so that you can let some of yours know and I might be lucky enough to see you and yours there." He finished shrugging slightly as he finished his point. Yeah, that was it, he had merely stopped in to let her know that they might possibly be holding a minor tournament and that he hoped if they just happened to do so that she would be there with a few of her own people. He looked back at the man behind him who was sitting in a corner noting his own demon arm and smirking slightly splaying out the fingers on his free hand before clenching them with a slight nod to the man before returning his attention to the Banchou "I mean... we could even treat it as a preliminary of sorts... or just to inspire everyone me and you could step in for a friendly bout." He says shrugging and grinning at the thought of the two of them fighting... he did love a strong woman after all, and he knew few, if any, stronger than the beautiful Banchou. "But I don't have anything else other than that... So! How's the weather?" He asks his grin spreading.
