Amazingly this is not the first time I've run across an article about a school where the students make a "kick-a-jew" day.

Your thoughts, hate crime or harmless fun?

It makes me feel wanna kick someone's damn a**.
Hate Crime. :/

1. It is clearly a hate crime. Kicking someone is not ever harmless; that's why they call it a kick instead of a loving caress.

2. Torah and Talmud say clearly that self-defense is not only permitted, but required. That Jesus quote about turning the other cheek is, according to Jewish law, actually harmful because it is condoning wrongdoing. If someone hits or kicks you, you have the obligation to defend yourself from further harm. However, you should do as little as possible to achieve that desired end. Never kill when maiming will do; never maim when injuring will do; never injure when talk will suffice; never even talk if just leaving will be enough.

Anyway, I have never in my life heard of "kick a Jew" day. Then again, this happened in New York I see. And to me New York has a high population of Jews..Georgia not so much sweatdrop

I really dont condone ANY type of bullying, but this is just awful.
But with the American school system, they aren't bothered to do anything yet when the kid kills himself or shoots the school up (G*d forbid) they suddenly have no idea where this came from and put ALL the blame on the kid.

Of course I dont think this justifies the violence, but it should make schools stricter on enforcing anti-bullying rules.
