This museum has a modern feel, very similar to the larger museums of the city. Though the building seems large, the space isn't currently being utilized to it's full potential, the small amount of paintings and sculptures taking up a small amount of space. Hopefully, the museum starts somehow getting the funds for more art. The observatory is a large room on the top of the museum, specializing in the study of the stars and planets which includes a couple of powerful microscopes.

After a decent amount of wandering down the same street, Theresa and Matthew had finally come across something of relevance! ..Which turned out to be almost the opposite of what they were looking for. The modern, imposing building couldn't possibly be the small, homey cafe that Theresa had hoped to start their date on – hell, she didn't have a clue what it could be. It seemed pretty out of place from the style of the town, which was more classic and rustic, not prim and proper like what she was looking at. The trucker stopped where she was and looked at it from side to side before turning to Matthew. They had been walking a lot without much break, between the energetic woman and the man, so maybe it was about time to get some air conditioning? “Ever been here?” She asked, a thumb jutting back at the structure in curiosity. He seemed the better one to ask, considering he lived on the island. Then again, he didn't know about any coffee shop, so.. Maybe he wasn't as good of a person to ask as she was assuming. It seemed somewhat odd, what with how buildings just didn't pop up out of nowhere – oh, wait.
Guy didn't have a life outside of work from what she knew – it would make sense. Probably just stayed home all day doing nothing on days off.. Honestly, how could anyone stand that? She turned her head back to the business and held up a hand before he could answer, “Hang on.” With that, she went up to the glossy doors and leaned up to read the sign printed there. The Vision? She couldn't help a chuckle and an elevated eyebrow. What was that supposed to be? ..Well, it was open, if the sign was right. She turned back around and strode over to Matthew once again, “Good a place as any. Let's check it out. The Vision,” She held her hands up to emphasize the word, holding back a small laugh. What could she say? It sounded so.. dramatic. “could have coffee.. or optometry.” She shrugged. Even so, a pair of sunglasses did sound kinda cool.

Matthew was used to standing on his feet and walking quite a bit, too. Considering he lived in Sonata Town and was not owner of a car, but that was pretty much because everything was so accessible! He didn't like going to the store alone, though. He never knew which one of the Twins was going to attend him there and whether they'd be friendly, or friendly... cue heavy drift. It was unnerving, especially when he had either pair of hazel orbs on him! Dante was usually more kind and helpful, while Vlad was much more intense and wolfish. He only went to the general store when things were necessary around the house, stocking up as much as possible when he did. He didn't mind them at work, because they were usually busy with other people. But not when he was alone.
Tess' voice snapped him back to the here and now, giving her an odd look and then up at the building. He was about to say 'No,' but the woman walked off and left him behind, letting him get acquainted with her back as she walked away. He crossed his arms across his chest and raised his chin a little, looking like some dad or something. He wasn't mad, but he certainly wasn't gonna stand there looking like an idiot! Look detached and aloof...
Matthew grinned as he watched her bundle back toward him, keeping his eyes a moment more than he should on the building. "Certainly doesn't look like any coffee place I've seen before, I'll give you that." he said, looking down at the shorter woman. "But if it really is about optometry," he eyed her dubiously, "it just sounds like a really bad pun for a name, don't you think? 'The Vision'?" he chuckled at that, letting his arms fall down to his sides again. "Come on, now I'm really curious." he flashed her a smile when he said this, a conspiratorial smile. Like they'd be up to no good. With an quirked eyebrow, he tilted his head toward the place. "Besides, free air conditioning." Yup, that pretty much summed it all up.

The woman chuckled – yeah, yeah, it didn't look like a coffee place, but, as Matthew said, free air conditioning! That was worth even heading into a doctor's office. “Bad puns sell?” She suggested with a shrug – hey, if it did turn out to be an optometry, she would certainly remember it. Even if she doubted it was one – but, then, what business would call itself something like The Vision? It sounded really.. artsy and haughty, while the building being so imposing in it's nature only enhanced that affect. If Theresa was more self-conscious, she would probably feel under dressed, but she was more focused on getting out of the heat than anything. She gave the man a quick nod in agreement as she started to stroll up to the building with Matthew, opening the door for herself because, well, holding it open for him seemed sorta emasculating.
She did wait inside for the man to catch up, taking the moment to turn and examine the interior. It really was cooler indoors than it was outside, but her main focus was on the walls. Art..? She gave a low whistle in astonishment. Someone had an art gallery in this town? Who in their bright mind thought that was a good idea? It made her smile at how obscure this was, looking back at Matthew with a short laugh, “Looks like we found the only museum for miles.” She announced, part of her voice in awe at the discover, while the rest was reserved for amusement. She doubted even the man knew this place was here, even living here as he had. “The Vision.. Makes sense now.” She commented lightly as she turned for another look around. It was pretty quiet, only a few NPCs wandering here and there – no one she had seen before.

From the beach he arrived in his same jeans and flip flops with the deep v black shirt. He had looked up places around this town that might have been interesting on the lap top before he left hours ago. A museum was definitely not his kind of place, but it was cool, it was quiet, and there are bound to be sophisticated and beautiful women to chase after. Though when he arrived, there was only a guy accompanying his lady friend. Cadeon entered the museum and felt the rush of cool air on his skin. It was nice to get out of the sun for a little. He was beginning to sweat a little. Cade ran his hand through his hair and walked over to the first painting he saw and stood there in front of it. He could easily understand what it was, he wasn't stupid or anything. In fact, the kid has a lot of brains in him. He would just rather play video games.

Standing around and gazing at art on the walls or statues on their podiums was making him grow quite bored. The girl hadn't come up to talk to him, and she wasn't enough to make him go to her from what he could see. Plus, there was that guy with her. Cadeon put his hands in his pocket and turned around to leave, when he saw the white beauty walk inside the museum. He stopped in his tracks and watched the gust of wind blow back her pure ivory hair. It was like those scenes in a movie. He actually felt his heart skip a beat. When she looked over in his direction, he quickly started walking towards the men's bathroom and hid in there. _____________The place was quite magnificent. Aniela always appreciated the arts. Especially since she was in the category of artists, being a dancer and all. Smooth and calming music was playing low in the building. Before walking in further, she looked up to see a tall boy with messy brown hair starring at her, as if he were shocked to see her. Had they met before? Apparently not as she watched him run away somewhere. She shrugged and walked over to a bright canvas that caught her attention. He felt like such a loser for running like he did into the bathroom. What was I thinking?! He stood in front of the mirrors with his head hanging from his shoulders. His eyes were closed and the entrance scene played in his head over and over again. Finally he opened his eyes again and took a deep breathe. Go talk to her. I bet Micah would laugh at you for being so childish. Cade shook his head confidently and pulled the door open, leaving the bathroom. He wander out into the open area to see her standing by herself and studying a painting. He put his hands in his pockets and sauntered over. Once next to her, he waited three seconds before speaking, and actually counted them in his head.
"I think you should be on there," he spoke up immediately regretting what he said. It made no sense. "I mean, cause you would make a perfect subject for the artist to draw and have a scenery like this as the background."
He kept his face forward and prayed in his mind that his cheesy lines would work. Then he changed his mind, he wanted them to fail because that would mean she is a little harder to work for._____________A minute later, the guy returned. Of course, he would pick the painting she stood at of all the others he could have chosen. One, two, three. . He spoke to her. A cheesy line, what else? She looked up at him and gave him a fake smile.
"Oh, thank you. That's very kind of you to say."
She returned her gaze hoping that the conversation would stop and that he would walk away. But of course, that's not how boys are."You're welcome. Do you know who this author is?"
"Michelangelo."
"You study art?" he questioned with hope in his tone.
"The gold plate under the painting says it. ."
"Oh. . Right. Had me going there for a second."
She nodded and gave a polite giggle to his comment. She wondered if he really was this way normally or if he was trying to impress her by making her feel smarter. She knew that trick already.
"So, I'm new here but do you come to Nirvani often?"
"My parents own a vacation home here."
"Oh really? That's cool. So are they with you this time?"
"No. They don't have much time on their hands right now to afford a vacation."
"Oooh. That's cool. What kind of house is it?"
"Uh. . It's a two story. . with a side building attached."
"Side building? What kind of side building? Like a three car garage or something?"
"It's where my studio and the ballroom is located."
"A studio? What do you do?"
"I'm a ballerina. It's where is practice. Perhaps I'll invite you to one of my recitals coming up."
"Really? That'd be great. I can't imagine how amazing you dance. Thank you."
"You're welcome. ." She pretended to look at her watch to check time and then started fidgeting around. "Oh look at the time, I better go. I have things to do."
"Oh alright. See you around."

"Eh..." Matthew grunted, not really in agreement or disagreement. He knew for a fact, that sex sells. But bad puns...? That one was yet to be proven. "I don't think so." he shook his head, rather to disagree with that statement than agree. Oh well, nothing bad could come from looking inside, right? So, following in after Tess, he was glad he didn't have to hold her door open... that would be going way too far. Aloof, remember?
And as soon as he was inside and let some of the air conditioning cool him down a little, he started looking around the place. It was an art museum, something totally and completely out of his league. This was more of Carly's kinda crap, not his. He nodded in agreement to what Theresa said. The name definitely made sense now. It would have been funnier if it was about optometry, which left him with a small feeling of disappointment.
There were a few NPC's here and there, but he didn't know the names to any of those faces. But s**t, did he feel under dressed now. Those beady eyes were so unnerving, like back at the Town Square. Judging. "I don't know about this, Tess." he said quietly to the woman, seeing another pair a little a ways from them. Without waiting for an answer, he put his hand on her lower back and led her to one of the art pieces. At least act like they were into this kind of stuff.
Like most art pieces, the one they stopped at made no sense. "I'm gonna be honest, how could anyone consider any of this as art?" he asked rhetorically, because he could see some appeal, but to his low knowledge and lack of philosophical/emotional maturity it just didn't seem like something he'd come to see at all. Be it a masterpiece, or not. His voice was barely above a whisper, so he wouldn't bother any of the other patrons.

Usagi rarely ever got out of the house and when she did it was usually only to a festival or something with her family. She didn't really feel comfortable going out of the house by herself ever since the attempted rape incident but she knew she would have to do so eventually. She wasn't really as worried since this time she was actually going to a business and not out in the wilderness where no one could hear her cries for help, oh and there was also the fact that she hadn't actually seen Zach at school or anywhere else for that matter lately. So today she was determined to have a nice, safe time at the museum and appreciate some art, oh and also meet a Caleb!

He watched her leave with dread, eying the long hair swaying back and forth behind her. Once she was out the door, he sat down on a cushioned bench/stool. As he sat down, he heard the door open again. Looking up to see who had come in, he witnessed a brunette with glasses stride in. She was pretty cute, but not like the other girl. He continued to look at her and hoped to make eye contact as he put on a smooth smile.

She didn't seem to notice too many impressive pieces of art as she walked in. While yes there was art there wasn't as much as she had hoped there would be. Well it couldn't be helped, she was still determined to somehow make this day exciting. As she looked around she spotted a boy sitting on a bench, "Hey you!" she called out as she approached him. "Quick question, is your name Caleb?" she asked him.

Cadeon was suprised at her reacting to him starring at her. She pointed and shouted at him. Then charged toward him. He sat up straight and then stood up as if getting ready to make a run for it. As she came closer, he backed up in pace with her. Caleb? Who's Caleb?
"No. I'm Cadeon. And, who might you be?"

It wasn't until Usagi was standing before him that she realized that she had probably freaked him out a bit, oh well! It wasn't like he was the first one she had ever freaked out. She gave him a disappointed look upon hearing that his name wasn't Caleb but gave a small shrug, "Well, It's kind of close to Caleb,' she decided. There were what, two of the same letters in the names? "Oh, by the way, I'm Usagi," she added, introducing herself.

He seemed taken back about her claim that Caleb and Cadeon were close names. Far from it, in his mind. She was very upbeat and outgoing. Taking a better look at her, she seemed really cute. Usagi. .
"Lovely name you have. . So who's this Caleb you are looking for? Maybe I can help you."

Unlike Matt, Tess was more focused on studying the art than anything. She hardly noticed any judgment being passed nor would she have cared if she did see it. As proof of that, she waved and chuckled at some lady, causing a quick look away by the response. She didn't think there would be that many 'upperclass' sorts down on the island, but, then, it was summer. She supposed some people could have summer homes in the area and from what she had heard of the mayor.. Yeah, it seemed possible. She turned her eyes back to the pieces set up sparsely about the museum, looking at the colors and then the lack of it. She only approached it when Matthew took the chance to set a hand on her, guiding her to one of the paintings without much care as his words indicated.
She shook her head, “It's cool – relax.” She replied in reassurance, speaking in a mock-whisper if only because his quiet tone amused her. Could he make his awkwardness any more obvious..? Oh, well, she got a hand on her back~ It was almost skin to skin, to boot, what with the rise of the shirt. She drifted her attention from there back to the painting, cocking an eyebrow. The painting.. yeah, it.. didn't make much sense. A splay of colors all leading up in arrows to what.. looked like a crudely painted eye in the middle. She creased her brow, setting her hands on her hips while leaning forward slightly, as if getting closer would change it. After a minute or so of taking it in and trying to figure out some kind of possibility to what the artist was meaning, she gave up with a face.
“Looots of drugs. This is, uh.. I don't think even the artist knew what they were doing.” She stated slowly, looking from him back to the piece as she continued, ending with a lowered chortle. If they did, then, hell, she wanted a number for some light to be shed. She turned back to Matt to tell him just that, when another piece caught her eye. She grinned and tapped him on the shoulder with a quick motion to the other side of the room before heading off to said piece herself. While the other one was somewhat frustrating in it's 'message', this one was just insane. She stopped to wait for Matthew in front of it, trying to hold back a laugh as she examined it. A woman's back was turned from the viewer, lounging in a similar art gallery on a bench in the nude as an old man and a dog looked at her from across. A few other seemingly random items littered the floor, but none of them gave her much of a clue on what was going on.

Now why did he have to ask that question? Did he want to make her look stupid? "who said I was looking for a specific person named Caleb? How do you know I'm not just looking for someone who happens to have that name?" she asked as she placed her hands on her hips.
The truth was she actually wasn't looking for a specific person, one day she had just come to the decision that Caleb was just a pretty awesome name and so she was going to make it her mission to find how ever many Calebs she could! Yeah she was weird, she knew that.
She looked back at Cadeon, though she couldn't keep a serious face much longer and it ended up in her laughing a bit. "Uh....sorry about that," she added a bit awkwardly.
