Sorry if a topic like this exists, I didn't see it. but, if it doesn't...
what do you want to do when you grow up? And, if you're not able to do it, what would you like to do? This is all career talk, though. Please do also include WHY you want to do something, and something less bland than 'so I can get money'.
I'll go first. I'd like to be a psychologist, mainly a clinical psychologist which is basically someone who listens to your problems and helps you with such(learned that in psychology lol). The reason why is because I grew up in a horrible, horrible neighborhood. My dad was an alcoholic due to stress and I lived in a city where there was tons of drama(fighting, drugs, gangs, etc.) and I didn't fit in at all at my school and got beat up, talked down on, and just had a terrible time despite my efforts. I was clinically depressed, and I didn't know who to talk to or how to deal with anything. I want to be the person that people feel comfortable spilling their life stories to, someone that they can talk to and feel comfortable around. Pretty cheesy reason to want to do something in life, but that's why.
So, what's your dream job and why?

I've gotten my degree in Biology and I would like to work with the US government helping to keep our environment as well as possible. I've always have had a passion for the environment I really hope to save it for future generations.

How do you go about trying to be an astronaut?
I wish I were kidding.
Sounds far too interesting not to want to do it, but too complex nonetheless...

I live in the U.S. and I want to be a British actor on the T.V. show "Doctor Who", the only thing that is stopping me is my heritage of being an american, probly.
I also want to be a hotel manager.

I really want to be a concept artist/ artist for video games. Because well, I love video games and I love drawing and I'm decent enough at drawing. It's also always sort of been my dream to create something all my own, my own world populated by my own xenobiology governed by MY physics. I guess I want to be god?
I just need to get better at drawing, and have some ideas.

Well...my current dream is to be a librarian. And that may become a reality soon! But, that's a career until I get enough money to move and go to college.
I want to be a television writer, a comic book artist, a fashion designer, a chef, a physicist, an architect, a novelist, a costumer, a journalist, a jewelry designer, a sculptor, a teacher and I want to run a non-profit.
I don't want to ever limit myself to one career.

Dream career I guess would be to work on travel shows/documentaries.
My logical goal career is similar, its more about doing cultural resource management and mapping

Either a Biology Teacher or a Medical Examiner. I'm leaning more towards a Biology Teacher mainly because I love teaching and if all the stuff that they show on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (aka the best mystery show on television) is true, My first case on a liquefied human I would barf on him/her. So yeah, mine are pretty realilsic.

I'm aspiring to be a tattoo artist, course I have to find an artist I respect and has been tattooing for more than 10 years to train under though.. I just love tattoos really, they're a vivid and form of art that moves, breaths, that will be with you no matter what and always come with a story. whee

I want a career in nutrition. I think it's interesting, and I'd love being able to help people better their lives. I'm currently on my way to getting a 2-year degree, so that would mean being a Dietetic Technician. Sure, that basically means being the head Dietitian's b***h. But, I'm alright with that since I don't think I have much 'boss/leader' personality traits.
I mean, coming from the background I come from, a dream job is anything that's not being a waitress, factory worker, or cashier. (yay for being raised poor).
