Abi bounced through the doors of the facility, excited as usual to get a peek around and visit her friend Jillian. Peeking around a corner she could spy the front desk, and she snickered as she eyed the receptionist. Lydia of course was not particularly fond of this behavior, and whispered to her daughter, "You shouldn't sneak around like that, someone's going to think you don't belong here!"
The young girl sighed, "Momma, I have feathers on my head, where else would I be from?" she sassed, continuing to sneak around the corner until she reached the desk.
"S'cuse me, I'm ready for my checkup!" she spouted perkily, looking over the desk with a wide grin.

"Oh ARE you now?" came a cheery voice behind her and suddenly Abi was swept up into a big hug by Jillian, who had been sneaking after her and her mother as a joke. The girl was a bit bigger now, but not by much, and Kayen at the desk seemed merely amused by this display.
"Jillian, why don't you assist Abigail and her mother as you're so eager to play around." she stated, not even looking up from her paperwork.
Jill giggled, putting the redhead down. "How you doin', Abi?"

Abi squealed with delight as she was swept up by the other girl, "Jillian!" she giggled, twisting around to hug the other. It had been awhile, and the other girl seemed to have gotten bigger, which was mildly exciting and made Abi herself anticipate her own growth spurt.
"I'm pretty good! I missed ya!" she smiled, stepping back to admire the other girl, "You got bigger! You look pretty~" she complimented after admiring for another second. "Just in for a checkup, y'know. Same old same old." Abi herself looked at the event as common, even though she was young and had gone through the process very few times.
"Yes, we just need to get her checked up as usual." Lydia chimed in, directed at Jillian. She was happy to see her child so excited, Abigail and Jillian had always gotten along so well, but they were still there for a purpose and Lydia at least remembered that.

"All right, well Ma's corralling some of the Mixer Pets so she would be off this way." Jillian pointed and headed down the hall in question till they reached a door at the end. It had a sign drawn in crayon, probably by Jilly herself, that read "Mixer Pets".
"We've been breeding little critters for the kids to keep company with."
Inside, Apoxi was seated on the couch, feeding a little dragon with fairy wings out of a bottle.
