Pavitra was feeling oddly hungry. Maybe being around Raj, he was developing an similar appetite. He'd never seen a horse eat like that man. Thinking of Rajput made his heart float on air in his chest, and then sink quickly back down in a whooshing motion. He definitely needs to break these dumb, pointless feelings. It simply wasn't possible for them. Raj was a hetro if he ever saw one.
Shaking out his mane, he focused on the only currently curable feeling in his stomach: hunger. Eying a tree with circular fruit hanging on it, Pavitra trotted over.
Raring up on his hind legs, he reached a few low hanging ones, munching on them happily. They were yummy and sweet. Delightful.

She'd finally felt safe enough to leave the herd lands and go searching for something to do. Her time spent cooped up with the herd had worn her nerves thin. Her mother certainly had been a bit of a wreck, and her father.. She'd never seen him so furious. Her stomach growled audibly as she wandered about, not seeing anyone she really knew. had the few friends she'd made wandered off to find grand adventures while she was fearing leaving the safety of her herd? Kicking herself mentally, she decided to push the thoughts aside and focus on finding something to eat. She could smell ripe fruit and it made her mouth water. Following her nose, she found a decent sized tree and raised up on her hind legs, stretched her neck out... and just as she was barely able to feel the fruit brush her nose, she fell backwards with a womp of a sound.

"What?" Pavitra jumped, which as you probably know, is difficult for a alicorn on his hind legs. Landing on all fours, he prepared to run if it was danger but the sound was odd. It made him curious.
Admitting, his courage isn't that of a lion. More like that of the gazelle but Pavitra peeked around the tree trunk, cautious.
It was a mare! A brilliantly white one at that. A very pretty. Just because she was pretty did not disarm her from being a threat, but her face was one that would not alarm Pavitra. Suddenly he felt worry for her.
"Are you alright?" His voice was high and full of concern. He trotted quickly to her, ducking his head to hers. "Hey, you okay?"

She chuckled as she stood, shaking out her coat. " Yeah.. I'm fine.. just lost my balance is all.." She looked up eying the fruit, her stomach giving another loud rumble. She gave a sheepish look. "I was trying to reach too high I guess." She looked back and shook her mane out of her face. pain wasn't something new to her, she was some times clumsy, but that wasn't as bad as when she'd gotten the now scar that marred her rump. only one claw had caught her, a near miss but it was a reminder all the same. "I didn't mean to cause you any worry..." Her voice matched her delicate looks, soft and delicate. She gave a friendly look all the same. "I'm Briallan by the way, Briallan Oralee. But you can call me Bri."

Pavitra hadn't noticed the scar yet, but smiled when she stood, happy that she'd not been injured.
"Its not a problem. I worry too easily." He smiled more broadly and bowed his head low. "Hello Briallan Oralee. I am Pavitra. Just Pavitra." He stood up right again, and once more noticed how beautiful she was. He found others white like him were always especially admirable for some reason. He found nothing special in his own appearance, but in others, it seemed something unique and lovely.
"On the other side, there's plenty of these hanging lower." He giggled a little before adding, "Not nearly as dangerous."

"Pleasure meeting you." She smiled wide, her tail waggling some. It's been a habit of hers since she'd seen some deer do it. she figured it natural as they looked so close to her father and herself. "Really? Maybe I should have looked there first.." She frowned some but deer hopped off to the other side to see. "You're right!" She gave a small giggle before once more standing on her hind legs, front legs this time steadying herself against the tree as she reached up and plucked off some fruit. She was about to drop down the stand normally, but looked around and reached up grabbing the branch and gave it a good shake, fruit raining down to the ground before she lowered herself down and began to munch away, carefully leaving the pits behind as her mother had taught her to do.

Pavitra was impressed. He hadn't thought of shaking the fruit down, not having to stand. "He thats pretty smar-" In mid sentence, Pavitra was cut off as a apple dropped from the tree, late. "Ow!"
Shaking his head roughly, he glared up at the branch, frowning. "Not cool, plant. Not cool." Shaking his head, he watched the mare go. She could really chow down. Maybe even put Raj to shame. The thought made him giggle out loud, the throb in his head easing.
The actions really did remind him of a deer. It was adorable, really.

She'd heard the thonk of an apple hitting his head and stifled a chuckle. "Watch out for those late droppers.. they hurt." She looked up grinning. "Well don't be shy, dig in." She grinned eating a few more apples, leaving the cores behind before her hunger was sated. She'd shaken the mass down so as to share, not be stingy. Stepping back, she waited for him to start eating, her ears flicking and tail flagging every now and then as she listened intently to the sounds around them. she was more wary now that she'd been days before. But such experiences change lives. She wouldn't forget yet the attack her herd had gone through. She'd keep watch now while he ate.

He nodded at her suggestion with a pleasant smile. "Thank you." He said, bowing to her once more before reaching and munching happily on the apples. Yes, this was much nicer than having to stand and reach them one at a time.
He was threw a few apples before he noticed her watching the area. Suddenly he felt a pang of emotions. One, bad for not noticing her not eating while he ate away, and two, fear because something might have set off her senses. "Is there something wrong?" He asked hushed, standing straight and straining his ears. "Do you hear something?"

She shook her head " No i'm fine.. just keeping watch.. Go ahead and eat." She smiled and resumed her watch it was a caution she'd gained recently. Usually she would have just munched away with him, but not now. not when she knew that even with her herd things could go wrong. She'd become even more timid the way a deer was timid over the past few days. Her ears still flicked about in other directions as her eyes watched the bits of sky she could see through the trees.

Now that he had paused in eating, he felt his stomach had had its fill. "I'm finished for now, I think, actually. So how about you continue, and I can watch for us, okay?" He smiled presuadingly. He didn't want to make her feel like she was adequate to handle the job, but he really did feel bad about her no longer eating.
Now that hunger wasn't on his mind, he actually noticed the mark on her hide. Furrowing his eyebrows, he tilted his head. "How did you get that?" He paused and his eyes widened. "Oh, I'm sorry! None of my business. Me, being so rude." He laughed, the sound of embarrassment instead of humor. "Very sorry."

She nibbled a little on a few more apples, starting to find herself full as well. At his question she looked up and then back at her scar. "Oh.. that? It's from a cougar.. I got it during winter..." She shrugged some and stepped back from the fruit. "I'm full... I guess I wasn't as hungry as I had been. " She smiled some politely. She looked about some before looking back at him. "I got careless.." She shrugged not thinking much to the question. He'd asked and so she'd provided an answer to it.

"Oh..." was all he had to say about that. He'd never been in a fight, attacked, or bullied. But had always been wary none than less. He'd been wandering alone ever since he was a foal and from the stories he'd heard along the way, he should be cautious. Maybe some were just stories to scare him, but he didn't want to run the risk of mistaking the truth for a fantasy, and actually facing something horrible... like a skin walker. He inwardly shuddered. He'd never met one, never wanted to. Ever.
Rreturning back to his conversation, he smiled. "Everyone gets careless sometimes. Its a great thing to see you alright and still growing." He nodded, fluttering his wings a little, having nothing to do at that moment but speak.

"True.. I guess you're right." She gave a small nod and a smile. "So, other than the obvious food, what brings you out this way?" She hoped he wouldn't mind the question. She'd had a run in already once with some one who seemed annoyed with speaking in general, but this one didn't seem too bothered by conversation. Her tail another waggle, the tale tale sign that she was relaxed with her surroundings.

Pavitra stifled a giggle at her tail. It was just so dag gone adorable! Smiling broadly, he returned his attention to her question. "Oh I'm passing through the area." He rethought his and Rajput's inevitable split and his pairing with Adalyn, and reworded his response. "Well, actually I guess I'm not passing through anymore. I plan on staying for a while, but I've only recently arrived here." He looked around the trees and the warming sun, then at the beautiful mare. "And I am really liking it, I must say." He gave his tail a swish, unknowingly mimicking Briallan.
