Natalia walked through the library doors like a drone on a mission; face lacking emotion, hands gripping the necessary utensils for this particular visit...Pulling a chair out and sitting at an empty desk, the monster flattened her things out and sighed. She could not, for the life of her, get into this assignment. It's dumb, she thought, so dumb.

Natalia didn’t even bother to scan the room for a familiar face; not wanting to sit with any other student mostly because she didn’t want them to see what she was about to write. Taking her pen and the wrinkly brown paper she brought along, Natalia began to write as if inspiration had just struck.

“Natalia
Date: 1/20”

Then…she stopped, bit down on her lip, and dropped her forehead to the table. Ugh.

Holly wasn't sure what to do. First day of classes for her and she had homework already! At that it was about her culture. The ghoul had no idea about hers, at all! She had heard about something called a library. That's where they had information about ... things and you could work. Well that is what she heard anyway.

She made her way over to it from her room and didn't get lost for once. Carrying her few supplies with her she looked for a place to sit. Her blue eyes settled on Natalia. Wasn't that the one kissing people at Truth or Dare? Wasn't the ghoul in her class? Maybe she'd be able to help her with this library thing. Holly disliked asking for help but what could she do?

The ghoul tapped her on the shoulder, since her head was down. "Excuse me, you're in the Etiquette class too right?"

The werelemur was hesitant to move at first, only flinching when her shoulder was touched. This was exactly what she didn't want...

But then the voice of a familiar kind prompted Natalia to open her eyes and lift her head. "Hmm?" She started, gazing with her back still hunched over. Orange eyes were slit when they met with one's of a brilliant blue color, an unenthused look striking her pale countenance. "Oh...it's you." Just as most students remembered her for the antics she had pulled, so could the ghoul recall a select number of others who had participated in Truth or Dare as well. This one hadn't been much of a talker, that is until Natalia had to give G's rump a wet one...

Slick remarks were usually tolerated by Natalia, mostly because she participated in making them herself. However, with a hint of liquor in her system that night, she could remember feeling a bit of animosity toward the PJ-wearing ghouls words. Even if she hadn't meant for them to be malicious. "Holly, am I right?" All the while Natalia debated whether or not to answer the young ghosts question. The werelemur truly did not want company, not for this assignment, but Holly hadn't asked to join her yet...

So...what was the harm. Shrugging her shoulders, leaning away from the other's touch and stance, the monster nodded her head. "Yeah, I'm in there."

Was she asleep? Na, Holly swore she'd seen the ghoul put her head down not that long ago. She sighed, probably a bad idea to ask for help anyway. Nice to know she was noticed at least. The ghoul had no reason to bring up the other nights antics, though fun, especially since she had work to attempt. She had to admit the other did know how to have some fun.

Holly nodded, surprised that she remembered her name at all from the one night. She recalled the exchange that had been made. It was all in good times and the ghoul herself did not care much what was said. Or the point she barely remembered everything said that night anyway. What was the werelemur's name... Didn't she sit across from her? "Yep and Natalia?" That sounded about right anyway.

Was she really going to ask for help? Ugh, she hated this. "I uh, wasn't paying so much attention in class" Blame the demon that kept poking her clothing. "but the homework was on our history right? Any idea on how much we have to write because I have no idea what I really am." There, an indirect question. It was best to be clear on the assignment at least.

For a moment Natalia just sat and stared. It would seem the two of them had something in common, but not even that seemed to urge the werelemur into cooperating. Instead, she pressed a hand to her face and rested there; chin in palm while eyes flicked left, right, and then fluttered toward Holly's face.

The long tail that was tossed to her left side twitched, before the end of it started to tap up and down and while her lips seemed pressed together permanently, as sudden as a shift of wind she spoke. "Yes, I am Natalia." Before the monster would continue, she had to give Holly a once over and conclude that the youngster would not be a potential mate--not for a while, anyway. It would have probably helped her cause to be even remotely, physically mature...but...well, she supposed those blue eyes matched with brown hair would get her somewhere some day. "You're a ghost. Duh." the ghoul drawled, offering a quick smile before letting it fade. MAN, this assignment really put her in a horrible mood...perhaps this ghost child would be a good enough distraction. Rolling her gaze around before shifting in her seat, so as to face her paper, Natalia pulled the chair out beside her and slid her hand across it in a quick pet.

"You shouldn't slack off in class, it isn't hurting anyone but yourself. From what I gathered, length isn't an issue; after all some students just aren't as complicated as others may be. And, like in your case, some students do not know what or who they are just yet." Pausing to give the pj-wearing ghoul a questioning glance, Natalia continued. "Do you have a pen and paper stashed in that suit of yours? If not I have extra." Offering some, the monster chuckled.

Okay so this wasn't so bad...having company, that is.

Holly smirked slightly. The other ghoul sure did like taking her time to respond. Not like she had anything else to do nor did she really need help. It was more of a clarification on the assignment was all. Did she just give her a look over? Not like there was much to see. Her pjs covered most of her which she didn't mind. Having not grown up humanoid she didn't care much about looks. Though over time this school would most likely influence her to care. "Well, yes. I know that." Holly chuckled though. She liked this other ghoul's spunk.

"That's good at least. I'm still getting use to it all for the slacking off part. I'm a fox ghost, guess that's as good a place as any to start?" So she could write about ghosts, and foxes. Holly reached into the hidden pocket in her suit. "I have paper but I, uh, seemed to have lost my pen. Thanks." She picked up one of the offered pens. "If you don't mind me asking, what are you exactly." The ghoul had some guesses.

Natalia scrunched her nose in response, tilting her head one way before switching it to the other, and then finally bobbing it in a nod. A fox huh? That would explain the costume...

The lemur could not recount on a time when she had met with a ghost of Holly's sort--in fact, Natalia didn't even know it was possible. Or at least she hadn't really thought about it all that much...and this little detailed skipped over seemed to derail the lemurs focus. She tapped her chin idly, lifting that same hand to rub the side of her head before shaking the blue locks. There were plenty of ghostly animals, in fact...she was almost sure she knew of one...Tybalt, was it? Was he a ghost?...guh, she couldn't remember!

Maybe it was the fact that Holly didn't have ears and a tail like the others--Or at least she didn't have a tail. How did that even work?! Oh Jack this was frustrating!

The look that passed over her face was one of severe trouble, but as it was, she manage to squash those ravenous thoughts by patting the chair again, urging the student to sit. "It would make things easier for you to write." She murmured before continuing.

"Uh, okay so yeah, starting where you know is always best. You're a fox ghost, so write that down. I guess next you can ask yourself this question: what does a fox ghost do...? Do you even know?" Her statement was neither crude nor becoming; it just came across as blunt as any could be! But her face was alight with curiosity, as she was now somewhat intrigued by this ghost animal situation, and so perhaps the flagrance of her statement would go unnoticed. Natalia knew of many humanoid apparitions, and knew that they came from the souls of once-upon-a-time, living beings...or, well maybe. Something like that.

As a moment passed between Holly taking a pen and Natalia starting to scrawl on her paper, she almost missed the question asked of her. Orange eyes blinked as the ghoul froze, slowly turning to address the young, inquisitive creature. Yes, she was a fox alright. "I'm a were, of sorts. A Ring Tailed Lemur, if you are familiar with those." Natalia paused, letting another second of silence sweep through before quirking a brow.

"Just another monster, really." Then, trying to quickly change the subject, Natalia said, "So you're a fox ghost? How exactly...do you figure?"

Holly was never exactly sure as to why she wore what she wore. She’d guessed the fox pieces due to what she was. Or really what she’d been in her previous life, which was a fox. Though she’d never guess the actual reason to the pajama part but she thought they were awesome so that was good for her. She did wish that one day should could meet a fellow ghost animal since she had yet to run into one. Thinking about it she might have. Most of these other students either looked really humany or animaly and ghosts didn’t look ghosty a lot. So who is to say one of those animaly ones wasn’t a ghost? She’d have to ask that next time she ran into one. One thing was certain, she was slightly jealous of all these animal students with tails, why didn’t she have one? Would be fun to find another like her. Maybe even bother about this homework she was doing!

Though her past would be something she never knew about sadly, would be the best paper topic. She thought for a moment. “Well, that is true. I’m a ghost, so that means I was a normal fox before I died.” Holly wrote some of that down. She decided it was best to go for the most literal sense of what she was. “I like to pull pranks? I’m still not even sure, dying doesn’t help you remember who you are…” She chuckled and wrote some more things down. It would have to work for now. Not like they could dock her points since she was the only of her kind that she knew of.

The ghoul nodded. She did know where were-creatures were. Not a lemur but she guessed it to be some sort of animal of course (what else besides that). She just nodded in response. “Oh, left out the fox part.” From earlier. “I can turn into a fox, my natural form I think it is called.” The ghost part was obvious.

“I think I got it all though. Almost done with yours?”

Once the other ghoul had finished, it was apparent that Natalia had a few remarks sitting heavily at the tip of her tongue. Leaning forward to get a look at Holly’s paper, she mused silently for a moment before speaking. "I recall reading a book some time ago about a fox. He was said to have been very clever and always up to no good, teasing and tricking the citizens of his town; being an all around goof I would suppose. I can not give you any of the details for which it contained, but..." She paused, tilting her chin slightly with an index finger holding her head up. "I would like to assume that most stories have some truth behind them. Perhaps that is why you enjoy pulling pranks?" The monster breathed out heavily after that, a sigh of sorts as her utensil found its way back into one of her hands to be fiddled with. “Although who am I to say one way or the other…I have never met anyone like you before. A fox spirit of sorts, that is.” She had experienced her fair share of tricksters before Amityville.

The remark about death made her ears twitch, orange eyes rolling toward Holly's pale face in search of distress or discomfort over the matter. At times it was so easy to forget where some came from, the general details of most ghosts and undead townies who now live a new life knowing a previous one may have existed...Death was not something Natalia feared, but it was also not something she wanted to experience any time soon, and with that thought settling in her mind she felt some remorse for the other ghoul who had no idea who she was. It made her shiver and furrow her brows, fingers drumming on the pen as it balanced now atop her lips.

But relief came when a question was raised, and looking down at her paper Natalia pursed her lips.
"Uhh..." A lot of information had just been thrown about, but none of it had anything to do with werelemurs and the heritage that Natalia had no clue about. And mostly because of just that; Natalia had NO idea what to say, if Holly had even asked her a single question regarding what lemurs did and all of that. Lifting the paper and pressing it against her chest, the monster shrugged her shoulders and sat straight up. “I think I will finish it back at the dorms before class.” She stood then and maneuvered herself around the chairs and table so that Holly was directly below her. With a wave and a smile, the ghoul spoke again, rather kindly.

Thank you for finding your way to my table. I know we may have started off on the wrong foot…but you have redeemed yourself. And I am glad for that. We should do this again some time.” It HAD been nice to be around a new face, particularly for the monster who was a newbie on campus. Holly may or may not have known what it was she referred to in her statement, but in any case a bow and another wave gestured the monster off, that blue head of hair dropping obviously to stare in horror at the page that still only had her name and date…
