Appearance: Vartan is clearly aware that he is roguishly handsome, which is only enhanced by his Elven blood. He has a nicely toned body (he is no body builder, slight muscle definition) that matches well with his 6’2” frame. He has a youthful, angular face that most High Elves exhibit and smoky gray eyes that either sparkle with humor or cloud over in thought. His hair is almost as black as onyx with blue undertones and is often unkempt and short.
He sports a very healthy tan because of how much time he spends outdoors, even if the cut of his cloth speaks otherwise. Most of his body is covered in Elven tattoos that run along his hands, feet, and even into his scalp. On his right cheek is a single scar he got from a sword fight and is the only visible flaw he is proud to tell the tale.
Clothing Style: He has a taste for the finer things in life and this also extends to his taste in clothing. He picks the top of the line in fashion and prefers to wear shades of gray or blue. His pointed ears are pierced three times in each ear (lobe, inner cartilage, and upper tip) and are often silver or gold hoops to match accents in his clothing.
Weapon of Choice: He is commonly seen with a sword at his side, one of his few pieces that aren’t “flashy.” He has a vast variety of swords over the centuries and starting to form quite a collection. Only the more ornate weapons are worn at court.

Powers: Unlike his ward, Vartan is very limited with his abilities outside of hand-to-hand and swordsmanship. What little he does have is solely for healing purposes, but cannot bring someone back from near brink of death. He can stop bleeding, mend sprained or broken bones, but he can't stop internal bleeding. He's not that great at multitasking as far as the "clerical" abilities go.
Personality: Chaotic Good Vartan is a flamboyant and out going individual. Many women that he has met during his travels have often called him charming and a true gentleman. He enjoys the company of others and welcomes everyone so long as they have a good heart. He has a very easy-going nature that often frustrates the most spiteful of people. He typically laughs most troubles off, feeling that life is too short (even though he’s semi-immortal) to worry over.
But underneath his jubilant attitude, he is fiercely loyal and protective of his beliefs and those he cares about. Even though he doesn’t have the same strict morals as the other High Elves as far as the finger things of life (women, wine, and clothing), he is honor bound; his word is his bond.
