The Mountains loomed just ahead of him, blocking out the sun during this time of day. The large pine trees surrounded the path that he was walking. His cape hung low across his shoulders, being kept up from dragging upon the ground by it's golden chain. The purple crown that usually sat upon his head had been discarded aways back, hidden within his best friend's herd. He wouldn't want to lose the crown his treasured crown while traveling. It would be most unfortunate, as he already missed it's natural weight.
His hair fell lightly around his face, gently brushing back and forth with each step. His bangs were cut just high enough to stay out of his eyes. The goal Alistair had for traveling out here? A flower that only grew near the base of the mountains. A flower that he would pick for his beloved Chandra. A dreamy smile lifted his lips, as his mind wandered. Ever since he had found his friend again, a feeling had sparked within him. He felt light, and happy. He would sigh every now and again, and would often catch himself staring off into space. Yet, she had her sights set on another male. Chandra had found a friend in Sonnet while Alistair was away for so long. Now, he had to make it up to her and reclaim his place as her best friend. And hopefully, in the future, something more. Alistair lost his concentration of walking down the path, and couldn't catch himself when he suddenly tripped over a rather large rock.

Crusnik usually stayed close to home. She always did as her parents said, and was fine with it. She had to be careful, since her daddy was a vampire she herself had a sensitivity to the light. The young filly was simply gazing out at the bottom of the mountains when she heard something coming from her side. Her silver eyes quickly looked over to the area and she saw a dust cloud moving quickly down with something that sounded heavy.
She didn't move from her spot as she watched it. And with a bit of a thud the 'thing' hit the bottom. Waiting for the dust to clear the small girl moved a little bit closer to take a look.

"Argh" Alistair groaned, trying to rearranged his tangled limb to allow him to stand up. Something in his hind leg ached, and when he made his way to his feet, he looked back to find a small gash. Alistair sighed, looking at the damage. His leg must have came in contact with a sharp rock during his tumble. Lucky for him, it was a clean cut and could be easily healed. His cape on the other hand... Alistair stared down mournfully at the dirty torn piece of material that had once been his royal, gorgeous cape. It's rich purple color was stained with dirt and some blood. The black fur was torn and matted. Taking his once loved cape off from around his neck, he threw it around his rump. Maybe one of the humans that dwelled near Chandra's herd could fix it up for him. Alistair's eyes moved to look back up the mountain. The best way to go about getting that flower would be to fly... but the trees wouldn't allow him to do so easily. And he wouldn't want to risk injuring himself again. Turning back wasn't an option that he'd give himself. Alistair would just have to make his way back up. Taking a deep breath, Alistair turned back towards the path, only to discover something already on it. Blinking once, to make sure that his eyes weren't "broken", Alistair confirmed that yes, there was a foal staring at him oddly. He blushed. She must have seen the whole thing. Clearing his throat, Alistair started up towards her.

Crusnik tilted her head. He was rather concerned about his appearance, though had she taken that same fall she would be embarrassed too. She watched him move his cloak, it was a nice color, but it got ripped what a shame really... But then he finally saw her. She looked right at him, and gave a little bit of a smirk.
"Took a bit of a tumble did ya?" Crusnik was only half an Uni but her daddy taught her how to use the little power she did have. "Would you like a little help with your cut?" She asked. She wasn't going to just assume he wanted help. Mother always said it's polite to ask, better safe then sorry. Crusnik was more mature then most of her age. And the only thing that was attributed to that was her mother. She raised her with high values and moral.
I'm sorry these are so short x.x Sweet and simple seems to be my posting style right now...

Alistair's blush grew when she confirmed that yes, she had seen him fall ungracefully down the hillside. "Err, Yeah." He mumbled, mostly to himself. At a time like this, if his accessories weren't practically destroyed, he'd try to straighten himself out but... His hair was tangled, and his fur was matted with blood and dirt. He just hoped that her opinion of him wasn't beyond repair. Alistair's ears perked forwards at her offer to try and heal his wound. She was still very young, and he couldn't help but to wonder how much she really knew about healing. Her appearance was of a fullblooded Uni, so surely her parents must have given her a few lessons by now? Alistair decided to trust her. She couldn't make the gaping wound in his leg any worse than it was. "I would appreciate that, if you have the time," He put on a smile. "Uhm... Where do you want me?" He asked, not sure if he should lay down or keep standing while she healed him. He hadn't ever been healed like this before, and her height was going to make it a little more tricky.

"Just stay there." She said flatly, she had no issue working around him. She walked over to his side and she leaned forward, letting her horn near his wound. He was a good deal larger then her but it was fine. She focused heavily on her thought of healing, and before she knew it her horn started to glow. The warm light would surround the wound, and start to mend it. The bleeding stopped.
But unlike an adult, or even a fully grown horse, the filly was only able to do so much. She started to grow tired and she took a step back. It was closed, but it was still not finished. But better then bleeding every where. "There... That should do. It will heal on it's own over time."

He watched curiously as she moved around him, positioning the tip of her horn just above his wound. Fascinated, Alistair watched as her horn started to glow. The wound grew warm as the skin stitched itself back together, and eventually with it the pain numbed. Her horn returned back to it's normal black coloring, and he waited for her to look back at him before speaking.
"Thank you,... ah?" Alistair shifted back and forth- only now letting his leg step upon the ground. Pain hadn't shot up like it did before. She was pretty good for just a foal. "Are you tired?" He noticed how her frame drooped slightly, and could only think that performing such an act would take alot of energy.

Crusnik nodded a little. "I'm not a full Uni, only my Father is. So I use more energy trying to do things.." She shrugged a little. She had accepted that. And it wasn't something she dwelled on. "You should be more careful to watch where you're going... That fall could have been a lot worse." She stated plainly. She knew he didn't fall on purpose, but it still could have ended worse.
"I don't think you'll be able to get back up that way. If you you'd like I can lead you back to the path from here?" She offered. He might not have known the area, and it would have been better to offer and be refused then to send him off and get lost.

Alistair nodded. From his appearance, and what his mother had told him, his blood was pure Angeni. "I was distracted," He mentioned, an image of Chandra flashing in his mind. What was his dear friend doing with her time right now? Was she thinking of him? Hopefully... Just as Alistair was going to fall back into his daydreaming, the small filly spoke again, offering to help him find a way back. "I would absolutely adore that," He smiled, flicking the hair that had fallen into his face back. If she hadn't offered, he would have considered flying. But with a stretch of his wings, Alistair found it wasn't a good idea. His fall had made them sore, and he was lucky enough that they had come out undamaged. "Do you know this area well, Uhh" Alistair blinked realizing that he hadn't asked for the fillies name yet! How rude of him! She must think his manners were atrocious! "I apologize for being so rude," he remarked, bowing his head to the short foal, "My name is Alistair," Looking back up, he smiled "And may I ask what your name is?"

Crusnik looked at him and wondered what he was doing. When he introduced himself she eyes him and then propped herself up. "I'm Crusnik." She then turned, knowing once he was gone she would probably never see him again so what exactly did it matter. It wasn't really like this was some kind of a huge journey or anything. Maybe a ten minute walk?
"This way." She nodded her head, and started to walk. "What could distract you so much, to cause you to fall?"
