This Area of the forest has no natural or man made illumination. It is below the sand pits of the waste. Here, lower level hollows often fight here in the hopes that Menos, or other higher forms might overlook them. While they are often wrong, this is still there safest bet. There is a guardian in between here and the "more choice" locations to be, though he only blocks you if you are fleeing a fight, or are an outsider.

Akira Valanova Akira, a silent anger, deep within his chest. Trying to keep a calm demeanor and not disturb those of higher power than himself, he prowled around The Dark area, ignoring his insatiable hunger for the moment in need of training. His body was new to him, and he needed to learn how to use it properly, at first he had let his instincts and hunger guide him but he noticed the lustful eyes of hunger by those who were, like him, monsters. If they were to attack him he'd be unprepared, so he began training.
Noting that his body was infact smaller than most of the others, he knew he needed to keep himself from being captured. No better way of doing that then, moving at higher speeds. Finding massive, rocks down in the Dark Area of the Menos Forest. He searched around for something he could use as ropes, and found discarded chains lying around. The luck he had. He wrapped the chains around the boulders and tied them to his body. The boulders acted as weights, and were to weigh him down. If he could keep a relative speed or keep up with his original speed while wearing the heavy boulders, then his speed should inrease without them, right?
Well thats what he was working for. Atfirst starting off with a walk. The boulder's were indeed heavy but he kept a steady walking pace. He would walk for what seemed to be miles in the darkness. Being mindful of who he passed as he traveled. If he were to be caught in this position then he would be killed before he had chance to increase his chances of survival. Akira could feel his muscles tighten and strain as he continued to walk but not willing to give up.
As time went on the boulder's began to feel lighter, so he went from a walk to a light jog. Accelerating his momentum into a greater rush. He didn't quite hit running speed, as he could feel the weights holding him down. Ignoring it, he kept on with his jog. Rushing towards a small hill. The incline was a b***h but he kept pushing. The chains rattling behind him as he forced his way up the slope of the hill. Sweat forming on his back but he didn't give in, the chains tightening as gravity started to hold onto the boulders.
Akira growled and took mighty step, then another and another; before pushing himself over the top of the hill and jogged going down ward. Gravity once again being a b***h, pulled the boulders down towards him. Akira used this to his advantage, and sprinted down the opposite slope of the hill, and continued to sprint as he reached it's base. The boulder's hitting the ground hard but didn't stay in place. They were dragged through the ground by Akira as he kept running. Now moving at his usual running speed.
Deciding to pick up the pace, he began to push himself and run faster than he usually would. His run turning into a sprint. Sweat falling off him in droplets, while the boulders made trenches in the dirt below. Akira wouldn't stop, or rather he couldn't. He needed to push himself so that, if he were to be surrounded or be caught in a fight, he would be able to defend himself better. Knowing if he took a hit, his body wouldn't be able to withstand it, so he made sure he wouldn't take any.
As Akira sprinted forward, he could see a small rock formation. There were gaps in between it that formed a zig-zag path. Going at the speed he was if he didn't move at the right moment, then he could easily be knocked off balance, or fall completely. Running timing his movements carefully, and using the agile motions his body possessed; he weaved through the rock formations. Using the slightest bit of motion at all times so that he wouldn't waste momentum or speed. The rock formation was long and didn't seem to end.
He kept dodging the rocks within the rock formation. To the best of his ability, and at the speed he was going didn't prove to hard. He just needed to keep focus on the task at hand. He was certain that he was alone, so he didn't have to worry about causing an uproar from the sound of his weights smacking against the rocks within the rock formation. He decided to cushion the noise level, by bouncing off the rocks, keeping the boulders he used as weights from colliding with them.
Running straight, he lunged toward one rock, and then pushed off of it. Successfulling keeing his boulder weights from smashing with the rocks. He did this bringing power into his tighs and pushing off, giving a good burst of speed. When he finally made it out of the meno forest, he landed with a skid in the dark dirt of the Dark Area. He panted for a moments trying to catch his breath. He would take a step foward and exhale deeply. Steam flowing from his fangs. The anger inside him calming as he exerted his self. He at first started walking, that grew to power walking, which inturn built into a jog. As began to jog, he began to accelerate and soon turn to a steady run. He wasn't done yet, he started running at full speed and burst off in a sprint.
Akira knew if it were in a straigth line his acceleration, was perfect but he needed to maintain speed while turning. With his weights still attatched to him, they would follow in the orignal path he ran in when ever he turned. This wasn't a problem back when he was in the rock formation because they would smack into a rock and then follow behind Akira. Now they just kept going in one direction until they snag on the chain and then are snatched back into place. If he didn't keep his body in order, the weights would drag him slightly off balance, so he watched as he made his turns.Feeling that he had achieved his goal in the training session, he came to a stop and dropped the weights from his ankles. He stretched his body, shooks his four legs, before testing how fast he'd become. When he dashed forward, his speed had increased greatly and his acceleration was impressive. The weights felt light on him so he'd have to either increased the size of them or add to the amount he held to his body.

Akira Valanova Stretching after such a good, round of training Akira decided to go fetch him something to eat from the human world. It was more things he could use as a method for training out there, and there was no better place to go then Mexico. If Akira were still human, that would be the biggest lie to come from his lips but he wasn't human. Far from it. Humans don't eat their parrents, devouring their flesh then draining the frightened soul from it's body. No, only monsters did that. It had only been a month since he'd killed everyone he came into contact with his days living. The need of vengance burning through his body like acid. He looked around and his stomach growled. It was around that time again, his soul felt empty and he shest ached, his next step would be to fill that hole in his stomach. A dark line cracking in front of him, distorting the air before him. Like a skeletal grin, it began to open as a mouth would do, showing him his destination. Mexico. The land of Mexico was overran by hollow so it would be a safe place to eat without problems. Akira didn't have to worry about Shinigami and if the other monsters like him weren't jonsing for him, he'd be able to eat and return. Akira didn't have any real reason for staying in the world of the living besides eating. Taking a step into the Garganta, he would vanish as the portal slammed shot, like a mouth about to chew its meal. [exit to: Mexico City, Mexico; Venustiano Carranza]

Stalking the Dark Area was far from his favorite thing to do. It was rather nerve wracking to tell the truth. Never knowing if a Menos was going to come out of the Darkness and destroy you in the blink of an eye was not a good way to live... but spending his time in the world of the living was becoming even more dangerous. The shinigami were cracking down on him hard, and he was far from eager to tangle with a patrol team again. The mere thought of it made his scars burn white hot, his eyes let off a soft glow and a hiss of steam escaped from his mouth. In his momentary lapse of control he gave away his position to any hollows who had developed the hunger for their own kind. Rahvir himself had not felt that horrible hunger, but he knew that he was not special... that he would one day start to feed on his own kind in order to become something stronger... but now was not the time to think about it. He heard it coming, the heavy stomping of its massive curved feet, the roar of hunger from its porcelain mask. The Gillian was no much larger than Rahvir himself but possessed far greater power. Had he a pack he might be capable of killing it, but this was bad and he was alone. The wyrm-like hollow darted away, bounding and weaving. Luckily, the Gillian was not close enough to blow him away with its cero, so Rahvir's sprint carried him away from it. Keep moving... keep moving... don't let it catch you... RUN!

A cero crashed into the sand behind him, sending a spray of the white grains in all directions. Rahvir's breath became frantic as he scrambled away from the gillian as quickly as he could. The beast was not gaining any ground on him, nor was he losing it. It was pure torture... no matter how fast he ran or how frequently he changed directions, the Menos stayed behind him. It's roar sent chills down his spine, and its pounding footsteps filled him with terror deep in his heart... no... not his heart. I don't have a heart anymore... The hollow had two choices running through his mind right now. He could keep running and try to evade the Menos... but that wasn't working so far, it was only a matter of time before he tired and the Gillian ran him down. Or, he could travel to the world of the living, hide there for the time being. It's risky... the shinigami are tightening their patrols, and the quincy are on the rise once more... Rahvir gritted his teeth as he focused on bridging the worlds. Probably death is better than certain death... And in the blink of an eye, he disappeared from Hueco Mundo. The final cry of the evade gillian followed him though, haunted him. One day I won't have to run... and then I will be feared... perhaps then I can rest.
