The child in this vial was wild - Nigel could tell that right off the bat. He truly pitied the poor b*****d that got stuck with it, because he had a feeling that he or she was going to be quite a handful. 'All the more reason to get it the hell out of here.' They already had Shade and Faust to deal with - those two were more than enough for him!
The redhead shook his head to loose it of those thoughts, returning his full attention to the summoning circle before him. The being that he was calling forth had begun to materialize, once more taking a physical form. This had to be, what? The third or fourth guardian that he'd summoned in the last week? They were becoming more and more common, it would seem. This was good though - that meant that he and Zak might be able to get rid of all of these things at a faster rate than they'd originally estimated. "Sorry for suddenly yanking you here," Not that he was really sorry - this had become pretty standard for him. "But I've got something that belongs to you."

Doren stood at the sink, humming softly as she her hands dunked back into the soapy water, scrubbing at the dishes. So far, the night was rather uneventful; just another boring night. Mrs. Eliot had already headed off to bed, so she had the house to herself. A small smile tugged her lips, her eyes slding closed as the humming faded, giving way to the sounds of crickets just outside the window. She felt and odd tugging, her ears popping as the linoleum beneath her bare feet suddenly changed, and she found herself...where was she? This was definitely NOT her kitchen.
Her head jerked as her ears picked up on a voice, her hands releasing the plate they'd been scrubbing in shock, sending it clattering to the floor as a small "Oh!" escaped before she could catch herself. "Something...that belongs to me?" The words came slowly, warily. "And where, exactly, is here?"

Despite the loud noise that the plate clattering to the floor created, Nigel still kept his composure. He took in the sight of the woman before him, looking her up and down; clearly, she'd be doing some form of housework before he'd summoned her here. No matter - she could go back to whatever it had been when he was finished with her.
"Yeah. I've got a little bundle of joy for you." The redheaded mage called a small spell forth, lifting the vial out of his hands. The object levitated towards the middle of the summoning circle and came to a stop in front of the baffled woman, hovering there in front of her. "Don't drink it or smash it - other than that, you're free to do what you wish with it. You're going to have your hands full from now on; try not to go crazy." The woman had his sympathy, but that didn't mean that he was going to be of any help to her - he just wanted to be rid of the thing.

Bundle of joy....? Doren shot the man a confused look, looking past the now-hovering vial. Wait, hover, how did that even- Oh hell, how was she here anyways? And just what in the world was he going on about now? Despite herself, curiosity got the better of her and she took a hold of the vial, intending to get a closer look at it.
"Just what -is- this?" she asked, looking from the vial up at the man who apparently had brought her here somehow. "And just who are you?" The woman frowned, glancing around warily. She didn't like the look of this place, this man, this vial of who-in-the-hell-only-knows what, or this entire situation.

"I should think that it would be rather obvious. What do you think that 'bundle of joy' entails?" In any case, it wasn't Nigel's job to explain this whole thing to her - at least, that was how he saw it. He'd given the vial to its new guardian, and that was that. She could figure out the rest from there. "Also, that's none of your business." Now that wasn't entirely true, seeing as he HAD summoned her here - however, Nigel and Zak didn't really want a bunch of people coming around the mansion after they'd sent them all back, so the less they knew about the mansion and the identities of their summoners, the better.
That being said, Nigel was already concocting the spell that would send Dorian back. "In any case, don't you think that it's time for you to be going? I'm sure that you're busy doing...something. So, how about I let you get back to doing that, mmm?"

Doren's frown only deepened slightly at the man's refusal to answer a single one of her questions. "....I'm sorry. I don't see how a "bundle of joy" holds any connection with a vial, but regardless, I'm not equipped to care for a "bundle of joy"." Yeah, there was no way in hell she was going to get roped into...into...well, whatever in the hell this was. She held the vial out towards the one who gave it to her.
"You'll have to find someone else to take care of it. I'm sorry." Doren said, as calmly and politely as she could manage in the given situation. "I'd like to go home now and get back to what I was doing." Without the vial, preferrably, but since she was holding it out for the man to take back, she figured she needn't add that.

"Well, isn't that a problem for you." The magic in the summoning circle flared to life even as Nigel spoke, and it began swirling around Doren, even as she reached out to hand the vial back to the mage. He had no intention of taking the vial back, and it wasn't like the woman had much of a choice anyway - the child within it had chosen her, and thus the vial was now her responsibility. "You don't have much of a choice as it is."
And with that, Doren was transported back to her home. It would deposit her back in the same spot that she'd been occupying before, as if nothing had happened to remove her from the spot in the first place - only now, she had the small vial in her possession.
