*Matthew walks in and looks around the room* (hmmm... not too large, perfect) *He then throws his bag to a corner of the room and jumps on to the bed looking up* He then says to himself, "I wonder what this academy will be like, this should be interesting..."

"MWEE! GIVE THAT BACK NOW!!" Shouted a young girls voice. She gasped for air. Oh crap I probobly just gave someone a heart attack! She looked around to see no one there. She was stood in front of the door. I hate this part it gets me nervous...
Her hand reached for the door handle. Slowly yet swiftly she opened the door. "Eeeerrmm... hello?" She looked around inside. She saw a young boy. "Eeerrmm hello?" *Ahem you've repeated yourself..* "Eeekk! Don't do that Mwee, well he's not answering.. let's try this.." She took a deep breath and opened her mouth wide, "HELLO!!" Mwee soon got his paws out of his ears. *Are you done yet?..*

Matthew was thinking about his past when suddenly someone screamed "HELLO?" This made him jump and at once fire was covering his hands when he saw it was just a girl. The fire died away at once. (I hope she actually isn't this loud normally) "Hi, so who are you and why are you in my room?" *He tried to sound nice but wasn't sure if it would work*

She looked over to him, "Oh so you aren't dead then....Oh well teehee.." She giggled a bit. *hmph how foolish of you, Girl!* The girl puffed her cheeks out then shouted at the young dragon, "Don't call me that Mwee! I told you to call me by my normal name!" She looked back over to the boy, "Sorry about that let me introduce myself, the name is Kat. Oh and the reason I'm in your room is....eeerrmm....uummm....." She tried to think of an excuse. She then noticed Mwee was the perfect target, a devilish smile appeared across her face. Her arm raised to point at the dragon. "He stole something belonging to me, so I chased him. I shouted after him and then I thought I gave you a heart attack because I was a bit loud. So I came to check..." She took a few steps into his room. "Your new here... I can tell."

Matthew just stared silently at the dragon and the girl having an argument. (Oh great, she really is the loud type...) The girl then explained why she was in the room and that she knew that he was new. "Yeah, I am new, and you still haven't said who you are..." (I hope she isn't here for too long, she might find out about 'that'...)

"Is she bothering you?" asked a tall, slightly ganguro-looking girl, standing intimidatingly in the doorway. "Sorry to barge in and all. The name's Yumi; I'm in the room next door. Nice to meet you...?" She trailed off, expecting him to tell her his name.
'This time last year, I wouldn't have been this bold,' she mentally laughed at herself.

"Eeekk Yumi!" She jumped back in suprisment and soon turned into a kitten. "Nooo not again?!" she sighed a bit. Mwee settled himself down somewhere on the floor. She stared at Yumi laughing, she then curiously asked stuttering, "Whats..funny?" She stepped on her own tail and fell on the floor. "Eeekk..." She was tangled up in her bandage on the end of her tail. "Teehee... I'm a klutz..." Mwee sighed this time around, *We can tell...* She soon realised that she ingnored the boys question. "Sorry! My name is Kat.. I don't have a last name.. But I do have an opposite side don't I Yumi." She looked up at the Oni. Kat straightened out the bandage at the end of her tail. *How on earth did you do that to your tail?* Mwee spoke as he looked at Kats small black tail, scarred. "Oh that.. It was from the battle with Marc.." Mwee just simply shrugged his shoulders, then realised that the boy hadn't answered Yumis question. *Yeah who are you exactly?* Kat continued to try and untangle herself from the bandage. "Damn.....Bandage..."

Matthew considered on what to say while the girl was struggling in her kitten form. When she introduced herself as Kat and the dragon (who seemed to be called Mwee) repeated Yumi's question he simply said, "I'm Matthew." 'How long has it been since I used my powers slightly!?' He thought in his head. 'Must be at least five minutes, i'll have to try and get them out, quick...'

Kat soon untangled herself, "There." She stood on her hind legs, "Matthew...Matthew... Can I call you Matt?" She looked at him, as though he was strange. She soon gave up in trying to figure out what the whole thing was about. She soon remembered something to tell Matthew, "Oh yeah when I came in I saw a flame... What was that about?" She tilted her head with curiousity.

With a contemplative gaze, Yumi offhandedly stated, "well, it seems you want us to leave. Nice meeting you." She turned around to leave, but then stopped. "If it has anyting to do with refining your control over your abilites, I can relate as to why you would want to be alone."

"I dont mind, call me Matt if you want, I used the flame since I didn't know who you were, to be cautious..." He then turned to Yumi. "It's not a case of refining my control, but it's similar to that. I can't say anymore, not enough time to say." 'How long left do I have this time?' Matthew didn't want them to be involved, especially since he only just met them.

"Hmmmm I see.. Sorry for being loud..." She turned into her human form, Kat then started to walk over to his window and opened them. "I'll see ya around. See ya Yumi!" She lept onto the window sill and lept out the window onto the crisp fresh grass. *Kat wait up!...* Mwee looked at Matt then flew out the window after Kat.

Once Kat left, Yumi commented, "well, considering there's flame, and I happen to be in the room next to you, I feel as if my involvment is unavoidable. If you're speculating as to wether or not my safety is at risk, I can assure you that I've probably dealt with far worse than what you'll throw at me."
She chuckled lightly. 'Since when did I get so formal?'
