The stallion had been traveling for quite a ways now, his powerful legs carrying him through the strange new forest effortlessly. He enjoyed traveling..it never left him bored though it was a little lonely Lijep didn't mind much. A small smile brightened his face when the wind tickled through his short mane, yes it was a great day to explore! However meeting someone that would be even better. A mare..might not be that great but, Lijep didn't mind the idea of another stallion or even a cute little foal. With an excited swish of his tail Lijep paused under a shady tree, resting for a bit. After a good rest he would search to see all the interesting things the vast forest had to offer. "Maybe then I will find someone to explore with..Hmm.." After resting for a few minutes he started to move through the forest his eyes moving here and, there searching for signs of life. There had to be someone or something out here!

Temperance's parents were off doing something with her little brother when she decide to wander off and explore; she never went really far away so always managed to find her way back, so her parents never worried. The wind was a little hard for her today, and every so often she would go hide behind a bush so it would block the wind for her. If not, it would cause her to shiver and step back a little bit because she was so small.
After she had used a bush to block the wind for her, she popped her head to another side and saw that she was nearby a resting stallion. "Hi there Mister!"
It was so sudden and out of nowhere, it had to scare the stallion, but that thought didn't come to Tempy's mind... She was just happy to stumble across someone she could play with for the day.

Lijep had been aware but, the tiny voice had him jumping and, backing up. Mister? Blinking his eyes widened comically before his head dropped down to peek at the most adorable little foal he had ever seen! "Your so cute! Hello little one..what are you doing all alone?" He had never met any smaller horses but, Lijep didn't care about size especially when it came to foals. "My names Lijep...would you like to play?" With another wiggle like wag to his tail he moved about the tiny foal nosing her gently careful to avoid her wings. He had met others with wings but, never ones so small, and shimmery..like a butterfly. Snorting he stopped and just stood looking about..he didn't see anyone that could be the foal's mother or father. Maybe she had just wandered off to explore?

Tempy's wings flapped a little with excitement as she heard the word 'play'. Her rump wiggled a little bit as she leaped out of the bush and right in front of Lijep. There was a big smile on her face and, if you just looked at her, it seemed as though she beamed with happiness.
"Nice to meet you Mr. Lijep! Mama and Papa and Brother are together. I am going to go find them later! I wanted to have fun with someone and Mr. Lijep looks like he wants some fun too!"
She ran up and nuzzled the big stallion, happy to have someone to play with while her family was busy. "Oh yeah! Mama calls me Tempy, but when she's mad, she calls me Temp-ur-ance! Mr. Lijep can call me either."
Again, the small filly was beaming with happiness while looking up at the stallion.

Laughing softly at the adorable little one Lijep nodded his head. Oh good..her parents hadn't left her. Not that he would have cared either way..in fact he wouldn't mind finding a little one to adopt. Still he felt glad to have one to play with, if only for a little bit. Smiling brightly he let his tail flicker again "I'm always willing to have fun and play! Especially with young ones like yourself." He melted a bit at the nuzzle but, never stopped smiling as he leaned down to ruffle the foal's hair. She couldn't be cuter. "Oh my..well then I'll just call you Tempy..since I'm not mad. What would you like to play Tempy?" Watching her curiously he kept himself at her eye level his warm gentle smile still in place before a small fluttering breeze blew by. Blinking some he moved a bit closer blocking the small breeze, he tried to keep it from hitting Temperance. No need to have her cold. "Maybe we can play in the nice meadow over there that way it's nice warm and, sunny with lots of space to run."

Tempy giggled as the stallion ruffled her hair. "That tickled!" When he stopped, she looked up at him and looked at his hair. "Sometimes I wish I was bigger! I'd ruffle your hair!"
When he mentioned 'meadow', she had to pause a little bit to think. Tempy was a little bit forgetful, something she got from her mother. After a little while of thinking, it popped in her mind. "Oh! The place where all the flowers grow! It's so--"
She stopped and it was like a light bulb going through her mind. "I wanna play hide-and-seek!" Her wings flapped in excitement at the idea. "Though... I dunno which direction is the meadow..."

blinking some Lijep's ears gave a little flicker before he peered at Tempy. "your the perfect size! You wouldn't want to be all big and, bulky like I am. Then you wouldn't be as cute." Smiling thoughtfully the stallion started to move but, paused when the foal spoke about what she wanted to play. "Oh hide and seek huh? I haven't played that in a long time....the meadows this way come along I don't want you to get hurt."Lijep found himself worrying as he walked..he didn't want to squish Tempy. So he made sure to keep his eyes on her and, he kept his steps a little slow just in case she couldn't move fast. Moving into the beautiful much warmer meadow he turned back to Tempy again lowering his head to look the foal in the eye. "Okay! Who's it?"

Tempy smiled as she heard the word 'cute'. That was, by far, her favorite word and compliment to receive. She followed him carefully, not to follow too close behind, yet not too far behind. She definitely didn't want her new found friend to be afraid of her because of her size.
Once they made it to the meadow and Lijep asked who was it, immediately, she shouted. "You're it!" She ran off into where the grass and flowers were higher and tried to find a nice spot to hide. She finally found a spot and laid down close to the ground. Tempy giggled a little.
Little did she know that it was tall enough to hide her body, but not her wings. From a bird's eye view of the grass, it was easy to spot her little yellow wings sticking out.

Laughing good naturedly Lijep let Tempy run off and, hide while he loudly counted down. "Ten, nine, eight, seven, six , five, four, three, two , one! Ready or not here I come!" Smirking a bit the large male plodded around making a big show of looking for Tempy even though he had already noticed the little foal's wings sticking out of the grass. "Oh no I've lost her! Where could she be?! She must be the best hide, and seek player ever!" Pretending to look worried Lijep stuck his face down into the taller grass "Ohh Tempyy! Where did you go? Come out come out where ever you are!" As he spoke he moved closer then parted the grass right where the little one lay hiding. "Gotcha!" Nosing the foal in a ticklish manner he nibbled her little hair and blew air at her to hear her giggle. Playing with Tempy..made him want little ones of his own even more..maybe one day he would get to do this with a little one all his own. "Okay now I get to hide! No peeking.." Smiling Lijep plodded to a large tree and hid behind it as best he could but, he had never been a small stallion so..his butt stuck out a bit, giving away where he hid.

Tempy was trying her best not to move, nor let Lijep hear her with the giggles that wanted to be let out. She had honestly thought that she had done a good job, and when Lijep found her, she went into a giggle-fit as he was tickling her.
"Aww!" She cried out. "That was fast! And I thought it was a good hiding place..."
She looked up at him and pouted. "Even though I had ten seconds to hide... I haven't learned to count that high yet! So... You only have... eight seconds!" Tempy turned her head and hid it in a small bush near her previous hiding space.
"Eight, six, three, four, seven, five, two..."

Smiling Lijep plodded to a large tree and hid behind it as best he could but, he had never been a small stallion so..his butt stuck out a bit, giving away where he hid. Still he hoped Tempy wouldn't see him right away, if only his tail would stop twitching and swishing behind him. Inwardly..all he could think of was having his own little foals, having little ones to tumble around with, to tell stories to, to love and cherish. Liking other stallions wouldn't help his predicament but, perhaps he and his beloved could find females to help them. Lost in his little mind it came as no surprise to Lijep when he heard Tempy rambling off numbers in an all too adorable way. Would she stop or keep going? The urge to laugh was strong...almost as strong as the urge to keep swishing his short tail. Snorting once softly to rid himself of the giggles Lijep peeked form behind the tree a warm teasing smile upon his lips.

No one really knew how many numbers were eventually said, but Tempy finally reached the end. "One... Zero! Here I come!"
Others would think that she would be looking up to find someone so much larger than her, but nope! She started by looking under rocks, bushes, and other small things that she could poke her nose into. Tempy was constantly just looking on the floor and didn't notice that she was approaching Lijep's legs and eventually were under them. She could feel, however, that it was shady there, but oddly warm...
Tempy looked around, but didn't seem to find anything, even though there were four black puffs around her... She continued to walk. "I'm coming to get you," she yelled, hoping that she would get some sort of hint to where Lijep was.
