I'm so frustrated--I'm trying to find a publisher for a short story, but so far I have zilch!
The story is the diary of a teenage supermodel who is kidnapped, and turns from a captivity narrative to a romance. So it's kind of a teenage target audience, but it's too short for a book and too long for a magazine. I don't really want to plaster it all over the net because I really like it and want to get it legitimately published.
Another problem is my age. Because I'm no longer a teenager, I can't get published in a lot of teenage venues.
So does anyone have any suggestions?
Would anyone want to read it?
