"Jay" (11:52:28 PM): Elijah: *is laying down near the university's fountain, eyes closed. The wind was cold but the sun was out, making it a pleasurable day. He had to occupy himself somehow while his parents were in class, and no way could he stay inside now - not after what had happened. If he stayed in his room for too long, he just started crying and moping, and he didn't want to accidentally bring one of the family coming again . . . He could hear faint music from one of the buildings lull him into a half-sleep state*

JessieRabbit88 (12:04:07 AM): Dio:*Had wandered away from his mother for the moment and was exploring the place. He smiled and leaped after a frog around the fountain. he leaped up after it when it hopped onto the fountain and into the water and stood there looking at it.* Aww man this bites i wanted that frog! *He said with a pout as he looked around and saw that someone was next to him*

Elijah: *Jolts awake when he feels someone next to him* G-Gah! *curls up, covering his face* S-Sorry! I-I'm in the way, a-a-aren't I? *For his frog hunt, right? The voice and scent wasn't familiar to him, and without any of his family nearby he was jittery* Sorry sorry sorry! *slowly uncurls to back away*

Dio:*Smiled at him a little* Oh no your not in the way. I was chasing a frog and your just fine.* He said as he looked at the male* You smell familiar. You smell like my uncle Morph. Who are you? I'm Dio. *He said since he couldn't quite say his full name yet.*

"Jay" (12:17:14 AM): Elijah: U-Uncle? *he perks a little, though still appears shy* Papa Morph's y-your uncle? *Was he maybe one of Mirelle's kids? That was the only other cat Elijah knew about in his parents' family. But he didn't smell like her remotely . . . This was confusing. Was the family larger than he previously thought? Meeep . . .*

JessieRabbit88 (12:23:29 AM): Dio:*smiled at him a little* My mama is Nyx and shes Morphs sister. You dunno my mama? I love mama. shes so pretty and nice. She dances alot and i left class where she was learning to dance, i wanted to explore for my self. Who are you?

"Jay" (12:27:50 AM): Elijah: *Nyx? Papa's sister? So he had two aunts now, one who was blood related and one who wasn't* U-Um . . . Elijah? *So she took dance classes like Mama Ara did? Maybe they had met before . . . The kid made it seem like this Nyx was as nice as Papa Morph, so he supposed this was good news* Papa Morph's m-my . . . papa. M-Mama Ara adopted me.

JessieRabbit88 (12:33:37 AM): dio:*Smiled at him and nodded* Uncle Morph is very nice! Just like Mama. And i think i met Aunt Ara once. She has pretty hair and jingle things on her belly and feet right? I think shes dancing with mama right now. *He said thinking back to the lady in green who was dancing with his mom.*

"Jay" (12:35:37 AM): Elijah: *nods to the jingles description. That was the nice part to him: if she wore them, he'd always know where she was. Considering his kidnapping, he wondered if maybe he should adopt the same so that they'd know where he was all the time . . .* Yeah, she's dancing. S-So, um, you were chasing a frog?

JessieRabbit88 (12:39:29 AM): Dio:*Nodded as he looked at it* Yes thats my Aunty. Shes nice. I like her jingles! I want Jingles like that too! And frog? Yes he hopped into the fountain...i dunno how to swim yet so...i cant go after him...*He said looking at the frog in the water sitting in the middle on a leaf* Stupid frog...

"Jay" (12:41:33 AM): Elijah: I-It's, um . . . It's shallow. *feels around for the edge of the fountain and dips his paw in until it got up to his shoulder, were it stopped. He retracts his limb out quickly and shakes it off, shivering* J-Just c-c-cooooooooold. Why d'you n-need the frog?

JessieRabbit88 (12:44:18 AM): Dio:*Peeks at the water as he pokes his arm in* Oh...Mmm maybe i can get it. And i want it so i can eat it! Frags taste good! *He said with a smile as he turned and climbed into the water. It came up almost to his neck and he leaped at the frog sending water all over as he laughed and charged around after the frog*


"Jay" (12:45:43 AM): Elijah: *is startled upon getting the cold water on him again and backs away after a quick shake, ducking his head close to his body as he follows Dio's chase with his ears.* Th-They do . . . ? *But weren't frogs slimy creatures that croaked? Why would that taste good?*
JessieRabbit88 (12:51:44 AM): Dio:*Smiled at him and purred happily as e chased it* Thats what ive been told! And i wanna try one! *He said as he splashed around. He couldn't catch the slippery little thing though.*

"Jay" (12:54:31 AM): Elijah: Er . . . We have fruit at home? F-Fruit's good. And s-so's fish. *Both of course which his parents had introduced him to, and practically the only things he ate unless they introduced something else to his diet; for all intents and purposes, he ate from their list of approved items and nothing else* You e-eat those before

JessieRabbit88 (1:04:14 AM): Dio:*Smiled at him and nodded as he had lost the frog. He got out of the water and smiled at Elijah* Yeah i like fruit too and seafood. But i like Chicken alot! As far as Fruit... *He shook off the water, becoming a large puff ball* I like oranges and dried pineapple alot!

"Jay" (1:05:59 AM): Elijah: *winces as he gets more water on himself, shaking it back off as well* Chi...ken...? *He didn't know what it was, but it made his stomach growl at the thought of new food* I-Is that seafood too?

JessieRabbit88 (1:09:55 AM): Dio:*Smiled at him and laughed a little.* No chicken is not like Seafood. Its better. Its white and soft. I think they call it tender though. *he said thinking.* Well i think thats what they call it any ways. But i dunno where i would get it. Could you lead me to your place and i can see if they have chicken in your home?

"Jay" (1:20:11 AM): Elijah: I-I do too. *smiles a little to himself as he follows after Dio* Especially when Papa's cooking or Mama's playing her music to dance to . . . *And it struck him that Dio had yet to mention the odd things on his back that looked like wings - but he obviously wasn't blind like Elijah was. It was . . . nice. nice that for once he could carry a conversation with someone for the first tie without bringing them up* D-Do we have it?

JessieRabbit88 (1:34:31 AM): Dio:*smiled and nodded* Yes! I see it right here! *he said as he pulled out some chicken that had seasoning on it* I cant reach the microwave but it should be good cold. *He said pulling it out and sitting next to Elijah with it.* Want me to give you a piece? *He said with a smile as he opened it.*

"Jay" (1:35:54 AM): Elijah: Oh, um . . . N-No more cold please; the water was enough. *sheepish* C-Could you warm it up? Fish is good warm, so chicken is better warm too?

JessieRabbit88 (1:44:56 AM): Dio:*Nodded and smiled* Yes i guess i can try. *He said looking around. He put the plate of chicken on a chair and pushed it to the counter. He stood up on his back feet and climbed into the chair and put the food in the thing his mom used to warm stuff up.*Mmmm lets see here...*He poked a button that said 30 on it and smiled when it started.* Oh there! *He said excitedly.*

Elijah: *ears perked as he heard the machine turn on, his mouth already watering the more they waited. He could even smell the chicken being cooked second by second! What did that look like, he wondered, both cooked and uncooked. Certainly it sounded more than delicious, and he didn't think twice about inviting Dio over again another time - if Mama and Papa let him, at least. Eventually the microwave made the sounds of its end, beeping loudly in case they couldn't tell the chicken was finished* It s-smells so good . . .

Dio:*smiled at him and purred as he stood there and smelled the wonderful chicken smell.* It does smell wonderful. *He said with a smile as he grabbed a towel to touch the hot plate and took it from the microwave. He climbed carefully down the chair and moved back over to Elijah.* We have to let it cool off a moment before we eat it cause its hot.

Elijah: *It was a good thing Dio reminded him of that, otherwise the poor kitten would have bitten right in and gotten burns. He settled for licking his lips eagerly, his flesh-torn tail twitching* Right. How long do we h-have to wait? *Hopefully not long . . . He didn't realize how ravenous he was until the smell of chicken had hit him. Plus he didn't know how he was going to entertain Dio until then

Dio:*Smiled at him* Dont have to wait that long. Just let me blow on it a little and it will be ok soon. *He said as he blew on the chicken. He checked it softly with his finger tips.* there their cool now. *he said as he offered Elijah a bit of chicken*

Elijah: o3o *sniffs it gingerly first, then tentatively opens his mouth and nibbles. The juicy meat enthralled him, warming his chilled body as quick as a fire, and he inched his mouth forward more and more over the meat until Dio's fingers were almost added to the menu* ^^ <3 *The kitten begins to purr*

Dio:*Giggled as he quickly plopped the last of the chicken into the males mouth* See good right? Now you eat one so that i can keep my fingers from being eatin. *He said with a laugh as he ate a bit of chicken for himself.*

Ara:*Burst through the door panting* Oh thank god! Dio your here with Elijah. I was worried for a moment cause i smelled someone else with Elijahs scent and i didn't recognize it at first! *She said as she hurried over and hugged Elijah close. She had gotten just a little protective as of late.*

Elijah: *And there he was just about ready to paw another piece of chicken to his mouth when in burst Mama Ara, who in her worry tugged him from his spot to be held protectively* M-Mama! owo;; S-S-Sorry! Dio was a-at the fountain, and he s-said something about chicken, and we went in here to eat . . . *Was it bad that he invited someone in without letting her know? He nuzzled her apologetically*

Dio:*smiled at her* Hello Aunty Ara! Sorry i walked off with him. I hope mama isn't too upset about me wandering off too. I just wanted to explore. I made chicken in the microwave. *He said with a smile as he ate another pice of chicken*

Ara:*Smiled at Elijah and nuzzles him* Oh its ok love. Dio is family you can go places with him. I was just worried for a moment. I haven't been around Dionises alot so im still trying to familiar my self with his scent. *She said as she pet his head softly as she set him back down so he could eat some more chicken*

Elijah: S-So, um . . . you have a sister? *He didn't know what the term was exactly when it was technically Morph's sis, not hers. Maybe they were called the same once two cats were together? And as he asks, he's trying to fiddle for the plate while stuck in her arms, really wanting to down that chicken*

Dio:*Smiled at them as he handed Elijah another bit of chicken.* Yeah their kind of like sisters now. Mama is Uncles sister but Aunty and mama are close like sisters right? *He asked looking at Ara as he ate some more chicken.*

Ara:*Smiled and nodded as she listened and helped Elijah get to the chicken.* Yes were like sisters now. Shes very special to me just like Papa is. *She said as she stroked Elijah's back softly.*

Elijah: *arches his back at her touch and purrs, still trying to get at the chicken* So . . . bigger family? *He could only wonder /how/ much bigger. Where there other aunts and uncles and grandparents and cousins he didn't know about?*

Dio:*Smiles* Yes! I have mama and papa. And i have two other brothers. Mama has severasl siblings, i know of them but i dunno their names besides Ishtar. *He said with a smile*

Ara:*Nods* Yes and Morphs parents are your grandparents too. We'll be meeting them soon at some point too. We'll have a nice family get together sometime.

Elijah: *He counted them off in his head: Dio's parents, two other brothers, Dio himself, and at least two or three other siblings from his mom. This plus Mirelle and his parents meant he had . . . ten to eleven family members. The number made him light-headed, and he stopped his advances for the chicken to curl up more in Ara's arms*

Dio:*Smiled at him as he seemed faint about something.* Don't you have siblings of your own? *He asked with a smile as he nommed on some chicken more*

Ara:*Smirked and looked at him as she stroked his head.* Love are you scared about all your family? You know i have an brother here to. Dracal is my brothers name hes a silver version of me. *She said with a smile* Hes nice but i haven't seen him in a while.

Elijah: *Make that eleven to twelve . . . ! He never thought he'd know so many cats related to each other. And as far as Dio's question, it was twice the pain to consider: if he /did/ have blood siblings, none of them were collecting him. And Mama was going to give him lil brothers and sisters, but then he went and ruined it for her and Papa . . . So he chose not to answer Dio's question and shut his eyes* Chiiiiiicken?

Dio:*Smiles at him and hands him some more chicken* Don't you like having a large family? It makes things fun and exciting when were all together and having fun. *he said with a smile as he handed him more chicken*

Ara:*Smiles at the two of them and pet him. She knew he was upset about everything still, he would always be upset about her loosing the kits. He was perfect and she wouldn't ever blame him, she blamed herself.* Oh love don't be scared. *She said sitting him up more in her lap so he could eat.*

Elijah: I'm okay with wh-what I have right now . . . *Dio didn't need to know - he hoped he'd never know. Suddenly he wasn't ver hungry any more, and he turned himself so that he was cradled in Ara's arms, yawning* Think I need a nap . . .

Dio:*Smiled a little at them and wondered why he was so upset. He smiled at them and stood.* If your here then i bet mama is looking for me. So...I'll let you guys go and i'll go find mama. It was nice to meet you Elijah and nice to see you again Aunty. *He said before he walked to the door to leave and go find his mother.*

Ara:*Smiled at him and said bye to Dio.* Be careful getting to your mother. *She looked at Elijah.* Come lets lay down and take a nap then little one. *She said moving onto the bed more to cuddle with Elijah*

Elijah: *sleepily* Bye, Dio . . . *Or whatever his full name was that Mama mentioned. Right now, all that mattered was that he wanted to sleep off his bad feelings, because if he did so with Mama Ara, then maybe they could forget about the whole thing . . . Maybe.* Okies, Mama. *paws at one of her boobs to make it a comfier pillow for his head*

Ara:*Smiled at him and held him close.* Love why are you upset? Did talking about our family make you so upset? *she said softly.*

Elijah: *Should he lie? He wasn't very good with lying, and it made him feel bad . . . but it was better to make himself feel bad than to make Mama feel bad knowing that /he/ still felt bad about the kits deal* I feel bad that I don't know everyone in the family s'all.

Ara:*Smiled at him.* Does that make you upset or just scared? Family always grows and gets bigger. Our family will get bigger at somepoint. Papa and i will try again at somepoint you know. *She said softly.*

Elijah: *Tries to pretend he was okay with that and nods, making a tiny smile* Okay . . . *THen makes himself yawn again* Sleeeeeps please, Mama? *He didn't want to talk about it anymore and just cuddle*

Ara:*Nodded and held him tight. She knew he still hurt, she did too. She cuddled him and started singing softly so that he would sleep better*
