User ImageFleance appeared to have wandered onto some darker lands. Not just because it was night time, either. He'd assumed his mortal guise, though didn't try to diminish his size. He figured he could use his larger stature in a place where he felt unsafe. His ears were pinned against his head and his posture was unassuming. He was a little bit worried about where he was at the moment, but he figured he was just being silly, right? There was nothing to be afraid of when it comes to land. He did smell a little bit of lion here and there, but if he met anyone hostile, he could just teleport or fly away, right?

In reality, he'd come to these lands looking for his brother. These darker lands did seem to suit him, and one of his cubs had had a vision of him in the area. Now it was only a matter of time until he found him, right? Or maybe someone that had seen him recently…

Gentha had been meandering back from her exploits that evening. Since she was now an adult, she felt the need to do her pride some good and populate it further with the sacred blood from her Grandfather's line. Someone needed to pitch in with out-populating the baby machine known as Hakuna'jina. Who better than one of the prized children of two of the pride's best torturer's.

As she passed through some brush, Gentha caught sight of light gray furr catching the moon that was high in the sky. Despite it being fairly dark in her pride's lands, the moon dared every one and awhile to show itself and try to force some light into it. This never worked out well for the moon. You'd think it'd take the hint already?

Locking her eyes on the subject, Gentha began to move quickly through the brush, not worrying about the noise she made. When you were attempting to raise a howl out for someone, the best way was to introduce previously unheard noises, it made them grow fearful and upset.

Fleance was indeed growing uneasy as time went on. Well, uneasier, as the god was always nervous and paranoid. He heard sounds from behind him, and that just went to raise the fur on the back of his neck. So the god stood up straighter and threw off his disguise, outstretching his wings and trying to look as tall as possible.

"Who's back there? I can hear you!"

He spun around, trying to find the source, but the moon's presence inconsistent, it was nearly impossible. He hunched over and growled, trying to intimidate whatever it was.

"Show yourself!"

Gentha couldn't help but laugh as she closed in on the lion before her; however, her laughter was quickly silenced when she managed to get a real look at the male before her. Despite the fact she was hiding within brush, she could see the entirety of his body quite clearly. He was large, even larger than her father with wings that disappeared in the air as if they were made of nothing but dust.

"Unbelievable," Gentha murmured quietly to herself before shaking her head rapidly. She had to keep herself focused. He was not only an intruder, but someone with whom she could toy with. She needed to keep herself on guard and in character.

"Well, well. What do we have here," She said, purring lowly in her throat and emerging from the brush, a devilish grin across her face. "An intruder?"

Fleance heard a laugh and turned on his heels, teeth bared. Something about the area and situation just made him feel hostile. The god was tired of feeling insignificant and like someone to be taken advantage of. When a lioness came out from the grasses, he gave her a hard glare, though he put away his fangs.

"Intruder? I'm a passer-by. I won't be here for long." His brow was furrowed, but Fleance was always softer to females rather as opposed to males. They were easier for him to be more comfortable around.

He still was sizing this one up, though, and it seemed she could be an exception to his usual standards.

"What pride's lands am I on, anyway?"

"Pride lands? We're on pride lands?" Gentha asked coyly, deciding he may feel more comfortable if he thought she also was an intruder on their lands, one with a more permanent stake. "I wasn't aware I was on pridal lands, what a silly place of me to have picked my territory, hmnn?"

Gentha smirked to him and approached slowly, batting her sky-blue eyes cautiously. She had no experience in seduction and she was no succubus, but she knew a male was hard pressed to ignore a woman's advances. More times than not they'd give into their own urges, that's how b*****d children were created after all. She let another low purr escape her throat and began to circle him as she drew closer.

"Are those wings?" She asked curiously, getting close enough to tough a paw to them, "Like birds. A god. You're a god!"

"Well if we aren't on pride lands, then what are you accusing me of intruding on?" The god scowled, though it wasn't easily seen in the darkness. "Your territory? Isn't it a little strange for a young lioness such as yourself to have her own territory?"

This was Paranoid Fleance shining through. He was on edge, nervous, and maybe a little bit scared, though he'd never admit it, not even to himself. He was wary of her approach and his ears were pinned back as she began to circle him. He didn't like being circled. That was what hunters did for prey. Her purr mildly confused him. But you know what, the god loved the ladies. Inexplicably, but whatever. His ears then leaned forward. He was becoming curious.

And it seemed, so was she. He nodded at her question. Yes. Sort of. Yes. ...Yeah.
He watched her, still suspicious, but now interested, but silent.

"Why would it ever be strange?" Gentha asked, quirking a brow at the large male as he nodded his head to her previous question, "I may be young, but it isn't unheard of for a male or a female to want a place solely their own. A home that is no one else's home? I simply chose mine here..."

Gentha approached closer once again, enough to brush against Fleance lightly if she so chose. She could taste his nervousness in the air and while for other Demon's it would be off-putting in the choice of a mate, Gentha found it intoxicating. Her presence caused him to be cautious, and cautiousness was the precursor to fear. Fear was delicious.

The dark purple lioness smirked, though it was a small coy one. She scented the male before her before allowing her tail to thunk against his side, curious in his reaction to her action.

"What does a God want with mortal affairs?" Gentha asked, tilting her head gracefully from side to side, "We're boring and have short lives. Surely you'd rather want the company of one of your own."

Fleance simply shrugged. He couldn't decide if he wanted to keep his guard up or not, as he was attracted to this lioness, yet he was still on edge. But he was sure he didn't like how close she was getting. He didn't know her- he couldn't trust her. His nervous instinct started to gain an edge over his other desires, and he took a step back, though it did no good as he was circled.

When she smacked his side with her tail, his lip curled above his teeth and he gave her a silent snarl, his teeth and his bead shining white in what little moonlight there was to be shone. He stood tall and snorted out an answer. "That's none of your concern, mortal. You are boring. You are temporary."

But that's what made them so fun. A god could go through life without doing much at all, or at least that's how it felt over the scale of their lifetimes, and it could be rather entertaining to watch mortals try to accomplish things in their short, short lifespans. They were fervent and flighty in some instances, and to gods, that was fun to watch. Some would hinder, some would help, but Fleance was one who liked to watch things play out and not interfere. After all, who needed the help of Ashes regularly? He did long for a goddess mate, but having multiple mortal ladies wasn't so bad. He just didn't tell her that.

"And yet here you are," Gentha purred, her brilliantly blue eyes locking with that of the God's dull maroon. She wasn't sure if this male was all bark and no bite, because so far he had not done a thing that would make her even perceive she was in some kind of danger. Perhaps this was an advantage...

"Tell me, does the idea of us being temporary intrigue you?" She said, brushing against him once again with a small laugh. "I mean, I may be temporary, but I still leave my mark here. Maybe that's what you want... to leave your mark upon us. Upon me."

Gentha circled him once more before plopping herself in front of the God, her tail dancing back and forth across the grass wildly. She gave him another coy smile, this one carrying with it a twinge of harmless albeit wicked intent.

"And yet, here I am..." Fleance looked down his muzzle at her. She brushed against him again before laying down, and he stared at her with scrutiny. Where Ninon was soft and kind and caring, this female was dark and wicked. Despite his usual reckless abandon with romantic entanglements, his shifting perceptions of this female between interesting and wholly untrustworthy settled in the latter.

The god's wings flexed and stretched out again while he narrowed his eyes. He still didn't believe that she made her territory here without knowledge of it being pride lands. The scent of lions was too strong and too many. Slowly, it seemed the pieces began to fall into place. Fleance gathered she might mean to use him. Or at least his seed. Some prides used seers for terrible things. He couldn't trust his offspring with this female.

"...I think I'll leave my mark elsewhere."

And with that, he gave a mighty down thrust of his wings and took off, teleporting when he was a few feet into the air to a safer, emptier place.
