LuLu stood on the edge of a cliff, shooting spells at targets that whizzed by (courtesy of a member of the herd she'd recently come to join). Her bio spell caused a target to melt and she smirked. A target was never missed. Sometimes it was a little boring. All this power and nothing to use it for. Sin had been destroyed and the only thing she could really fight were fiends.
LuLu huffed and closed her eyes, a thundaga zapping a target to smithereens. She needed that old feeling again. The thrill of battle; the thrill of winning. The thrill of team work.
'None of that now.' She would've side if it wasn't against her nature to do so. 'Everyone's got their own things. They've moved on, I should really do the same.' But how? Energy stored up soon explodes. She knew the dangers of a mage that didn't do magic, it was why she practiced like she did. To keep the magic flowing. To keep it alive.
Another group of targets this time and LuLu needed only a second to responde. A flurry of spells shot out and all were destroyed.

Sesshoumaru stood along the treeline, watching the mage as she practiced. While his experiences with mages in the past weren't all that interesting, this particular mage had used a spell that intriqued him. He watched her as she repeatedly destroyed the targets all around her.
Every time he saw the target melt, he felt a sense of familiarity; after all, it was not unlike his own Dokkasou technique. He raised his right arm, calling forth his Dokkasou, and watched it. A slight green haze had started to surround his clawed hand. There were many things he could do with this technique. Normally, all he did was swipe or slash at his opponent, but he could also spray the toxin onto them.
But this mage, she was able to melt her target without any contact whatsoever. Sesshoumaru was disturbed at his own curiousity and angrily slashed at the nearest tree. Its trunk began to melt, and he watched as it fell over, crashing loudly to the ground. He started to turn towards the mage before he leapt into the treetops. He was sure that she heard that, and that soon she would be heading this way.

A sound in the distance broke Lulu's concentration and she looked in the direction it came from, trying to find the source. That was when she had noticed it; the small bits of tracking information given to her by Kimhari came in handy during times like this.
She dropped down from a ledge, belts rustling and hair sticks tinkling in the wind. Walking down the path from which she came, she moved to the tree, the trunk smoking from the damage it had incurred. 'Melted,' she mumbled to herself, recognising it straight away. 'Acidic..' She paused for a moment. It was possible - highly unlikely, but possible - she had missed a target. 'No.' She concluded, reassuring herself firmly. It does not feel like mine. Someone else is here. She scanned her surroundings, looking for any sign of life. Waiting for whoever or whatever it was to come out.
LuLu raised her hand, ready to cast a spell if need be. 'I will burn the forest down if I have to. With you in it.'

Sesshoumaru burst into an almost maniacal cachinnation. His laughter echoed throughout the treetops.
"I can assure you that your threats mean nothing to me, human. Burn down the forest if you must," he leapt down from his perch. "Its destruction will cause no harm to me."

LuLu watched him carefully, mind blocked to stop distractions that would prevent her from casting - such as his appearance. "It's nice to see you're not a coward." She smirked. "You would have perished in my flames demon. I would have made sure of it." Her hand gripped her Onion Knight doll, the strongest of her weapons and her favourite. It cut her casting time and raised her magic attack 10 fold. "Would you like to tell me why it is you were stalking in the tree tops?"
