xxxxxxxxThis is how you can describe Chikako: 'Happy, happy, joy, joy!'
You will rarely see her without a smile, or at least with a positive attitude. Some may find that to be annoying, but to Chikako, it would be better than having a gloomy frown or scowl on her face all the time. Even when things seem like they would never work she tries hard to still have that goofy grin on her face by thinking of ways to turn it around somehow. Though, it is quite ironic seeing how she loves dark-type pokemon as well and only uses them for battle.

Chikako may be a happy girl with no doubts about life but she does have a foul mouth now and again. It comes out randomly sometimes and she doesn't even notice it. Like when she is getting excited about something or when she is battling. Using those words doesn't mean anything serious, she just uses those to emphasize what she is talking about. Chikako doesn't even know when she started to use that language. When she does notice that she uses those polluted words, she doesn't like it. Of course she doesn't mind having anybody else use it, she could care less about that. It is best to just leave Chikako in her own little world.

xxxxxxxxChikako was raised and born in a small place called Aldar Town. As you might think, Chikako loved her hometown and everyone in it, well the people she knew there anyway. Which was her parents and her closest neighbors. She would normally hang around south of the town and dance around in the valley where the flowers grew. Her mother and father would get mad that she left the house all for that purpose most of the time, as there could be pokemon roaming about in there, so over time they would just take her over there every other day to see the flowers.

Chikako had always been a happy child. Running errands for her mother and father around town, helping others every once in a while. It was no suprise that she loved pokemon ever since she could lay her eyes on one of them. She had no dream of becoming the champion, breeder, or be in contest. Chikako just wanted to be a regular trainer and not worry about going to Gyms or beat the Elite Four...just, well train her pokemon and battle others. Of course that was when she was seven and didn't exactly know what she wanted to do when she grew up.

Her parents gave her an Eevee as a birthday present when she had turned ten years old. They soon became best friends and battled other trainers in that town with pokemon of their own. Soon, Eevee evolved into a Umbreon at night when they were playing in her room. At the very moment when Chikako found out that Eevee evolved into a dark-type pokemon she fell in love with the idea of dark-type pokemon. She never knew they could be so...beautiful. She always thought that dark-type pokemon were...a bit evil in a way, the way that people described them that is. But after seeing Eevee evolve, she forgot all about that. Chikako changed her mind and decided to become a trainer and battle the Gym Leaders to gain badges and beat the Elite Four so that her pokemon could become stronger. Her parents weren't so happy with the idea at first but soon realised that their little girl was growing up so they let her go on her journey at the age of twelve.
