Quote: Do ya dig it? Mission to get fossil Pokemon. Hundreds of feet under the Earth's surface lies a world that existed before ours. Plants, Pokemon, things that existed before our time lie burried deep down, just waiting to be unearthed. Archeologist have found many things in their exploits to learn more and more about this other world that sleeps under there. What an interesting job they must have, of course it isn't easy work but still itneresting all the same. Wouldn't you like to be an archeologist for a day? Well now is your chance! In the three regions, Kanto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh, the archeologist there are accepting help. Who are they? (I bet you are wanting to ask.) Well, Brock, Brandon, and Roark, respectively. Each region has their own unique things to find, such as Pokemon fossils of extinct Pokemon. Who knows, maybe you'll get lucky and find one? And maybe your archeoligist will let you keep it? I hear there are places in those regions where they can actually revive fossil Pokemon! Isn't that cool? But beware, it might have been seven years since Snagem has delt with any of those small evil teams but like always, there will be someone stupid enough to give birth to one. A rather new evil team is out there causing trouble, one that resembles a previous enemy of ours. They are called Team Eolith, just like the late Team Sandstorm they are crazy about fossils, though not just fossils. Team Eolith unlike Team Sandstorm is crazy about any type of artifact dug up. They seem to be searching for some specific but no one is sure yet. Their region of operations is somewhere in the region of Johto but they expand out from there to the other regions from time to time. Be wary of them, unlike Team Sandstorm they are a bit smarter and stronger. They manly use "Earth" based Pokemon, such as Ground, Rock, and Steel types, and our course they love ancient Pokemon. They may try to mess with you on your dig. So good luck. Objective ---Travel to Kanto, Hoenn, or Sinnoh and request to join one of the archeologists mentioned on their daily dig. Send Team Eolith packing if they come forth. Opposition ---Team Eolith, the chances are great they will mess with you and maybe even steal your "treasure" they mainly move in groups of three lower ranked peons and carry one to three Pokemon. (Based on the highest evo you can use or lower, but no lower than second stage if you can use third evos.) Pokemon ---If you find a Pokemon out there in the wild, and you think you might want it, go for it. Let it be allowed for your rank of course. But if you want to revive a fossil you might find then no wild capture. This mission is to help you get fossil Pokemon of course. Rewards ---A fossil of course, if you find one. If you do find one you maybe revive it in the mission. Other than that the rewards vary. Dakota went to the missions wall and looked about trying to find one for his first mission. Aeon looked with him and pointed to one higher up catching Dakota's attention. He grabbed the paper and read it. "Hmm... Do ya did it? "Aeon, I think we've found a mission!" Dakota exclaimed happily with Aeon raising it's arms in joy. "I think we'll just go to the closest one... let's go see Brandon." Dakota said grabbing his bag and heading out the door. A day of walking went by past many wild Pokemon. None attacked or were interesting, so Dakota and Aeon ignored them continuing to walk. The trail was boring, so Aeon and Dakota would occasionally play a game. He also let Quil out to walk. Quil had began to like Dakota somewhat, but refused to show it. Aeon, Dakota and Quil finally made it to Brandon's research facility where Brandon warmly greeted them. "Hey! You ready to get mining for some fossils?" Brandon said to Dakota handing him a hat and a pic axe. Dakota took the hat and mining equipment from Brandon. "Yeah! Let's get started." Dakota said putting on the hat and holding the pic axe. Brandon looked at him oddly. "I'm giving you the opportunity to get fossils... I'm not going to hold your hand. Now, here's a flash light." Brandon said to Dakota handing him a flash light. "Come back if you find anything." Brandon said to Dakota waving him off."Oh... okay." Dakota said more to himself than Brandon heading out. He pointed to a cave and looked at it. "Quil, Aeon, that's where we're heading." Dakota said as the trio walked to the cave entrance. The cave looked dark, so Dakota turned on the flashlight shining it inside. A stream of Zubat and an occasional Golbat swarmed out as he did. Dakota could've sworn he saw a crobat too. As Dakota and Aeon were recovering from that experience, Quil had already walked inside. "He- Hey!" Dakota shouted after Quil. Fifteen minutes had gone by and he didn't hear a thing. "Quil! Where are you!" Dakota yelled worried, Aeon was going all over the cave looking for Quil. Suddenly, Aeon quickly swished behind Dakota and looked over his shoulder. What Dakota heard was a loud roar and what he saw was a Quil darting back and forth agaisnt a large rock snake thing. Dakota watched until Quil stopped darting around and the rock snake loomed over Quil. Dakota was worried and dashed in not worrying about personal saftey and before the Onix could strike, it foundself at the end of a Pic axe. Sure, an Onix probably wouldn't be affected in anyway by a Pic Axe wielded by a human, but it was a stronger message. "Leave now! I will not allow you to hurt my Pokemon!" Dakota screamed at the Onix. The Onix stared at Dakota in disbelief. A human, some what large for his species, but still no comparison to an Onix, which was also large for it's species. The Onix roared at Dakota but Dakota only swung the pic axe. He hit it, but it did nothing. Onix looked furious for a moment, but left. Dakota ran to Quil and picked him up. "I told you not to go on..." He said a little sarcastically poking Quil's snout. Quil looked him but sighed motioning for his pokeball. Dakota grinned and returned Quil to his pokeball. "Alright! Let's find those fossils. But remember, we have to watch out for dangers." Dakota said to Aeon. The two set off and found some rocks. Dakota saw something odd about the rock and decided to mine it. Inside, was a very delicate looking rock with smooth grooves. "This... is a fossil?..." Dakota asked himself shining the flash light on it. He pulled out a piece of paper from his helmet and looked at it. It had fossils found here. he closely compared the fossil to the paper. "Hey Aeon... looks like we found a Kabuto." He said smiling to Aeon. The two began out the cave when they heard other people in the cave who had gone down a different fork. They were screaming various things about how they couldn't find anything. Dakota decided it was best not to disturb them and walked out of the cave. He hiked about a mile back to Brandon's research facility and presented him the fossil. "This looks great!" Brandon exclaimed. "Nice find. Now would you like me to revive it for you?"Dakota looked at the fossil and rubbed his chin a little. "No, I believe what is dead is dead. It should stay that way." "That's okay, I'll just put it on display." Brandon asked about the adventure which Dakota explained to him. "Sounds like you had quite a time, surprised you didn't run into some thugs down there who keep stealing artifacts.""Yeah, guess I just got lucky." Dakota said confused with Aeon matching his confusion. "Oh... and about that Onix you were talking about... I think you have a visitor." Brandon said looking at the door oddly with an Onix staring in the window. "Oh who could it b-" Dakota said turning around to see the Onix. He went pale and just trembled thinking Oh God... it's going to kill me. He decided to suck it up anyway and go out there to get whatever he got. Aeon stayed inside with Brandon looking at him. Brandon looked at Aeon simply crossing his arms and saying "No, I'm not your new owner." Dakota went out the door and saw the Onix looking at him. He closed his eyes held his arms up waiting to be crushed or eaten. He was surprised to find Onix nudging his chest in a affectionate way. "What the?.." Dakota questioned looking down and rubbing the side of Onix's head. Onix respected Dakota's bravery he showed down there, and decided that he wanted to help him get further in his journy. "Yo- you want to come with me?" Dakota looked at the Onix who had lifted its head and nodded. "That's great! I'm sure you'll make a great additon!" Dakota said jumping up with joy. He pulled a pokeball from his bag and threw it at Onix. Onix went in the ball and it shook a few times. Dakota gleefully picked up the pokeball and went back inside. Aeon was amazed and rushed to Dakota hugging up to him. "Hehe... you little traitor" Dakota said jokingly to the crying Duskull. Brandon look at Dakota and laughed. "I guess you got a Pokemon anyway!" he joked and congratulated Dakota. Dakota said thank you and left, walking back to the Team Snagem base. Mission complete.

Quote: The Innocence Project Sometimes, the law isn't all that it's cracked up to be. Well, scratch that. Most of the time, the law isn't all it's cracked up to be. Poor Brown Llewen can attest to that. He attests to it daily behind the bars of a small Cianwood jail cell. It's a jail cell that isn't even his, yet it's his to stay in for five years, courtesy of the Police. And Team Rocket. All his cellmates know poor Brown' predicament, and they too feel he's got all the guile of a lamb. They know Brown could never work for a group like Rocket. Yet the Police thought his concern for a true Rocket, tied up by Blizzard, was enough to convict him as they did the other Rocket. We, as Snagems are soldiers of fortune. We have no real allegiances but to ourselves. Simply put, our enemy is the constant injustice that exists each day. We love nothing more than to see it struggle. Even more, we love it when there's nothing to struggle. So someone needs to go and infiltrate the place and spring the guy out. Of course it won't be easy. And I'm afraid it'll be even un-easier. You need to keep your identity and anything that could tie you to Snagem hidden. This mission will rely on your abilities to: a) Keep yourself hidden from wardens, inmates and cameras alike b) Use your Pokemon in tandem with your own movements to make it seem as if wild Pokemon have stormed the place. Maybe for food. This can be any reason c) Escape with the prisoner and flee from Cianwood while keeping both of you out of the slammer. After you take Brown back to his own residence, there's a great chance he'll want to repay you. You can either accept what he has to offer or if you prefer, you'll be rewarded by me with a rank-up if the mission is good enough for the merit. Objective: Rescue Brown from the (in)justice system and excape. Pokemon: Use only ones that fall into these categories: Can aid in stealth, or can cause a ruckus to draw attention away from the inmates. Opposition: If all goes well, there will be none. If you need to fight, make it quick. Jailers don't carry too many Pokemon at a time. Rewards: Can be either from Brown, or you can risk that and try to earn a rank-up from myself. It was another day at the Snagem base when Dakota waltzed to the mission room out of boredom. He often didn't find a mission he liked, but one hanging on the board caught his interest in a peculiar fashion. Aeon saw this and tilted his entire body, Dakota was rarely confused. Dakota put his finger to his chin and tilted his head down to think. "Whoa... even the police are corrupt now in some parts." Dakota said to himself in disbelief. A fiery passion to free Brown began to emerge in Dakota. He quickly went to his room and chose an outfit that had none of the snagem symbols on it and left his SNAG there. He knew he couldn't risk getting team Snagem in trouble, even though they were only known in the criminal underworld and the many they've helped. Dakota quickly left the Snagem base with Aeon leaving almost no trail since he went through the woods when near a major road. He and Aeon follow a map to the prison, it was worse than what the mission paper described. It was a run down little stone place that looked like a fortress. He climbed a large tree outside the prison and monitered the schedules over the wall. He only saw guards going outside in the courtyard, this would mean that the prisoners never went outside. "Alright Aeon, I want you to turn invisible and look for Brown and report to me where he is." Dakota said showing Aeon a picture that was with the mission paper. Aeon did as he was told and came back twenty minutes later telling Dakota to follow him. Dakota sighed and said "Alright, now is the time." He had Duskull use dark pulse cutting down several trees around them and making them fall on the prison wall. There he waited for a good hour having seen guards try to move the heavy trees to no avail. Dakota saw this as an opening. First he sent out Quil his Cyndaquil to past the guards and set some things on fire. Then he released King, his onix, and told him to dig around the prison and start to destroy the wall from that side. King and Quil followed their instructions and went off. Dakota watched for Quil's deversion. Quil did as he was told, but only two guards chased Quil leaving three others. Then Dakota and Aeon waited for the crashing sounds of stone, that would be his que to run in. Dakota and the guards both heard the noises and the guards dashed off to stop it. There were no more guards at this entrance and Dakota dashed like lightning inside the prison. All the guards were preoccupied with the Onix attack and chasing the various smaller pokemon that smelt food. Dakota walked the halls of the prison following Aeon who floated high grabbing a pair of keys off the wall. It was a terrible sight, men sitting hopeless in their cells waiting to die. Many were deprived of food and sat in a stern depression, most didn't even look up when Dakota walked past out of sheer hopelessness. They finally got to Brown's cage and began to unlock the door, this made every condemned head in the prison turn. Dakota opened Brown's door and looked around asking "What happened here, how could this all've come to be?". Brown turned his head and looked around. "The system gave up on us... the warden became courrpt and did as he pleased." Brown said looking down with eyes to the floor. "This can't be allowed to continue!" Brown yelled a hushed yell. "Hell, I'd make a better warden!" Dakota heard that and looked at Brown. "Not a bad idea, wanna switch places with the warden? With a shave, you look somewhat similar." Dakota said rubbing his chin. "And I'm sure you're not the only innocent man here, you can pick your own guards. Plus, corruption is a crime so they'll be where they belong." Dakota said to Brown trying to convince him. Brown heard this and began to rub his head. "Well, I've been here for a while, I'd get a good paycheck and justice will finally be fairly given... I'll do it!" Brown yelled slamming his fist into his palm. Dakota grinned and walked outside. "King! Round up the guards!" King did as he was told and met with little resistence due to King's immence strength. King kept them captured and only one was left, the warden. The warden held a single pokeball and out came a large Skuntank. It smelled awful. "What're you going to do now?" The Warden laughed, "All your pokemon seem busy. Your Onix is holding my men, and that little Duskull doesn't seem like much of a fighter." Dakota grinned at this, "You're forgetting one." Dakota said showing his fanged grin to the Warden. "Whaa?..." The Warden stammered in confusion. From a bush came Quil darting towards Skuntank. Quil was using quick attack and slammed into the side of Skuntank sending it back an inch. The Skuntank stared at Quil and opened it's mouth. A horrible substance was coming up, Sluntank used Sludge bomb covering Quil in the mess poisening Quil. Quil shook off the gunk and launched a flame thrower at Skuntank which singed it's fur burning it. The two pokemon looked at eachother with both of their seperate ailments taking them down slowly. "Quil! Quick, use flame wheel." Cydaquil roared and was engulfed in flames ramming straight into the Skuntank launching it into the wall knocking it out. Dakota came down to Quil and used a potion on it. "Good job, buddy." he said patting Quil's head. Then Dakota stood up and started to crack his knuckles. The warden backed against the wall, no other lines of offence left. He looked around and paniced. "Your turn!" Dakota yelled as Dakota swung his fist at the Warden. The warden winced his eyes for a moment, but feeling nothing, he opened them. He saw a bloody fist next to his head. Dakota had punched the wall next to him, he would not stoop to their level. "Give me your uniform, and run." Dakota said gritting his teeth at the Warden. The warden quickly stripped and ran as fast as he could, no one would probably believe him since the jail hasn't been visted in a long time. Dakota returned to Brown and put the hat on his head smiling. "Congratulations, Warden." The jail became a much better place after this, Skuntank was now very nice but patrolled the prison like a hellhound. Skuntank was much happier with Brown. The few innocents either went home or became guards too. Brown knew it was still prison, so he was fair but tough. The inmates respected him. Brown didn't have anything to give except a thank you to Dakota, which he said was more than enough and returned to team Snagem HQ.

Quote: Protect Your Heart - Ranging from Easy to Hard - Backstory Development Mission Your background when you join Snagem, other than what you reveal or tell yourself, is rather unknown. Your hometown/place of birth is under attack. Show what has happened there throughout time as you help defend it. This mission is all about what you want to happen to your hometown, and gives you a chance to lay down some back story for your character. Ridiculousness in this mission will not be tolerated. Show what shaped your character into the person he/she is today, and protect the place you once called home. Protect your heart. Objectives: Defend your hometown from destruction. Pokemon: You may snag one first or second evo available at your rank, if you have trainer opposition. Rewards: Depends on how well it was done, and how much backstory you added to your character. Dakota and Aeon once again walked into the mission room to look for a mission. Dakota wore a long white dress shirt and some dark blue jeans, his usual outfit. He looked over absolutely everyone and saw nothing that seemed to appeal to him in his current mood. Dakota and Aeon sighed and walked to their room. There, Dakota fell face first into his pillow and tried to sleep. He was rolling around and found a letter under his pillow, he rubbed an eye and turned on a lamp. "Hmm?... When did this get here?..." he read who it was from. Dakota's eyes shot open with astonishment when he read who it was from, his mother. Haha... she always did know where to find me. Dakota thought to himself as he opened the letter. He began to read Dear Son,
We had a visitor who knew you visit or tiny little island in Fairbrink! We were very surprised to hear what you were doing, but we're understanding since your friend described exactly what it was your teams true purpose was. Of course, he wouldn't tell us much else about the organization, but we had him bring you this letter.
What I'm trying to say is, it's been five years since you've set off on your joureny to become a pokemon breeder like your father. It has been a while and your mother would like to see how much you've grown. Please son, do come and visit sometime.Dakota smiled at Aeon and said "Aeon, you're going to meet my family.". Dakota grabbed his back pack and left right away hopping on a train in the next town to the East. He got to the coast and rented a boat, the island was not very well known which made it a haven. He sat on the end and coordinated around some large protuding rocks and about twenty miles off the coast of Johto, he got to his hometown, Fairbrink. He looked around, it was a lush paradise to him. Fields as far as the eye can see with no roads, only paths of shorter grass. He began to mile walk inland where he came upon a town, everyone greeted him warmly. The people looked very similar to Dakota, natural white hair with emerald eyes. They were their own Ethnic group on the island. They all grabbed and touched Aeon, the only pokemon on the island were either wild, lived at his Father's place, or just chose to live with people. Which many pokemon did. Dakota saw an exegcutor helping with a small time gambling den, a Feraligator making bread and even a Lopunny dancing with a woman on the street. There were many other pokemon that chose their humans since Pokeballs were to expensive for his people, and not really neccisary. After the entrance party by his people, he waved and continued down the trail to a ranch with many pokemon of various types. He came to his house and knocked on the door, a short women answered the door. "May I he-" She looked up and dropped everything she was doing and yelled "Son! You came home!" Dakota smiled and bent over hugging his mother and lifting her off the ground. They both laughed. "It's been five years!" His mom shouted hitting him on the head this time, playfully but still stern. "Sorry..." Dakota said rubbing his head. Aeon just watched the situation floating around. His mother noticed Aeon and grabbed it inspecting this. "This yours?" She asked pulling at it. "Yeah." Dakota answered. His mom looked at Duskull and complimented on how good it looks. "I see you've finally gotten some pokemon." She said. "Not just that one, I've got some more." Dakota said pulling out both his Onix's and Cyndaquil's pokeballs. He threw them out and his mother was astonished. "Well, I've never seen an Onix!" She complimented and petted it. Onix was unusually allowing of this but did not return the affection, just allowed it. "Alright King, Aeon, Quil, go play with some of the pokemon on the ranch." Dakota said motioning them off. His pokemon did as they were told leaving Dakota and his mother alone. "So I haven't seen Dad... where is he?" Dakota said a little confused. His mother looked down and motioned for him to follow. Dakota wasn't sure what was going on so he did as he was told. They walked for a long time, to the edge of the island to a tree outlooking the sea. It was a beautiful cherry blossom, Dakota remembered this tree well. He and his father would play here and his father would teach a class on Pokemon to the local villagers. It was quiet and peaceful now, under the tree he saw a grey thing. This made his heart lurge and he began to run through the field towards the tree. Dakota stopped, and fell to his knees when he read the name. Barry Ferie He dropped his head in disbelief and just looked at the ground. His mom arrived a few minutes later and placed a hand on his shoulder. "Wha... what happened?" Dakota asked not turning his eyes from the gravestone which he kept reading over and over trying to somehow change the name to anything else. "Well... from the North there have been attacks. Every month or so... these people from Surn Island will come and try to take the villages resources and Pokemon. There are many other gravestones like this, but your father would not have it. He fought the hardest, most of the pokemon were willing to lay their lives down for your father... but he would not allow it. Him... and twelve other men stood agaisnt an invading force of one hundred. They did not stand a chance, yet never faultered. It's hard to believe this field here... was covered in blood just one year ago." His mother got quiet at this point closing her eyes, and a tear fell. "The few men surviving of the oppostion said they'd come back one year from then, we have six days left.... Why'd you have to come back now?!" His mother yelled and fell on him. Most men would run with those odds, but Dakota was like his father, will defend what he loved. His mother knew this. Dakota stood up, his eyes glazed over from sorrow and determination. "I'm going to get some men and pokemon together... no one will die." Dakota said staggering off back to the village. The reason they were partying it was because they did not know, the few who stood were the leaders of the village and held great power granted from the Gods his people solely believed in. His mother told the village that the Gods have taken them to serve, this was somewhat true. But they were killed. He got to the village and stood in the center, he clapped twice getting everyone's attention. "Everyone!" Dakota yelled as his mother watched and gasped from the entrance, "In six days... the island will be attacked by those dwelling on Surn. I need a volenteer Army to help me build a blockade, and fight if need...." Many people looked at him and asked "What about the one the Gods granted power too?". "They still watch over us, and lets hope they protect us. But their mortal shells are no longer here to protect us, the best they'll be able to do is benefit us, not protect us." The people came became silent and women grabbed their children. Dakota moped back to his ranch past his mother who glared teary eyed at him, no one followed. Dakota went to the ranch and talked to every pokemon, they all loved his father and most of the older pokemon remember Dakota himself. Without hesitation, he gathered two-hundred pokemon of varying species. He was thankful the closest spot between Surn Island and Fairbrink Island was in a meadow far away from where his father rested. Him and the pokemon began to build preparations, the land pokemon built trenches and large mounds to shoot off, the water pokemon built wood and rock barricades that would sink ships by piercing the hull. The sky pokemon carried bombs and trip wire to small rock out crops so when a ship crossed the line, it would send shrapnal intot he hulls. For five days, they did this. The field was practically impenadble. Dakota went to his ranch and slept till early that morning. He awoke to another letter under his pillow. Son, I can't stand to see another one of my loved ones die. Especially my son... I've gone into the village and am staying at an Inn. There is a box in the main room... your father left you something. Please, for the love of every God above... don't go..." Dakota winced at those words, but he felt he had too. He went to the main room and found the large box. He got down on his knees and opened it. Inside was a saber made of crystal, a luxury ball, and a tape recorder. He picked up the blade and touched it to the nearest object, it sliced clean through with no effort. He was astonished. Then he got back down and picked up the tape recorder. "Son, I came to this island with little looking for a new life. I came here with my prized Growlithe, and met your mother. I am the happiest man in the world now... and my little growlithe has become an Arcanine with her own pup. Unfortunatly... I know today is my dying day. I want you to take her pup and continue the liniage. Oh, and before you ask. No, the growlithe hasn't been in the pokeball this whole time, your mother should have put it in there today. Now I know you're probably back to fight the enemy I left... and I've only one thing to say to you... I'm proud of you, son." Dakota smiled heartily at those words, he'd never heard them from his father before. He grabbed the pokeball and released the pokemon, Growlithe barked. It was a beautiful girl. Dakota hugged growlithe and whispered things like "I'm sorry I couldn't have been here to train you earlier, if I live, I swear I'll make you powerful, but more importantly... loved like your mother." Growlithe barked again and licked Dakota. Dakota grinned and left commanding the young growlithe to stay. The skys were grey and it was dark, Dakota stood on top of the biggest mound built and stared down with the saber in hand. He was one agaisnt many, and as the first ships came to shore with many warriors stepped out, Dakota heard rumbling behind him. He saw all of the people from his village holding the weapons of their people. They began the formation and Dakota held his saber out, a lightning bolt came down between the two sides which signaled the battle to begin in. The battle went on for hours, and finally, the last of the opposition died with the clouds clearing and Dakota standing on a battle field with many dead. As he promised... no one died... atleast for Fairbrink island. Not a soul for Surn though, which should take this as a message. There were many injuries, but thankfully no casualties. And so Dakota took his pokemon, including a new growlithe back to his boat and returned to the Snagem base. After, of course, a long hug with his mother and a promise to return every anniversary of the death of his father. Mission Complete
