Lucien had scrubbed his face off rather thoroughly before he left Forms and Faces that day but he had left rather upset that Tybalt had done so much better than him in their class assignment. Lucien was pleased he had made Tybalt look like such a pretty white dog, but Tybalt was able to make him look like such a pretty unicorn with such rainbow coloured hair. Tybalt was even able to make Lucien's face unicorn shaped! Lucien was sure he'd have been able to go out into the fields and pass off as a robocorn. With such thoughts, Lucien was almost disappointed that he wiped the goop off his face.
He didn't have anything else to do and Tybalt had fled the classroom without him leaving the air spirit to wander around the campus. He ran into quite a few students, and they seemed to laugh at him. Lucien was not sure why, perhaps laughing was how they said hello? Lucien did not wish to be impolite to cultures so he laughed too as he passed by. It didn't take him long, but he finally ended up at his dormitory. He was happy to be home, and slowly opened his door to greet his empty room. Well, empty in terms of furniture. He floated into the room and shut the door behind him when suddenly something ran into him!
It was his little rainbow kirinni. He looked down and smiled at it, making a gesture to pet it when it looked up at his face and jumped back, running to the corner and... hiding. Lucien tilted his head, wondering what was up with his kirinni. Perhaps it seen something in the corner? Yes, that must be it. Lucien decided to leave it alone and give his rare florence some attention instead. It too seemed happy to see him until he turned around to greet it and it got a look at his face. It flew up as high as it could, hiding in one of the corners of the ceiling.
Lucien's blue eyes darted from the ceiling where his rare florence hid and the corner of the floor where his rainbow kirinni hid. Did they want to play hide and seek? Didn't they know that there had to be someone seeking to play hide and seek? Lucien could only laugh and he decided to be the seeker. There he spent the rest of the day chasing the two pets around his room as he 'found' them, they seen his face and then hid on the other end of the room again causing Lucien to continue the cycle until eventually the sharp swipes of pigment left his face.
At this point, both Lucien and his pets fell asleep in a pile in his room.
