He was getting curious about those around him, wandering off a little farther each day. Rakshi wanted enjoyment, excitement, adventure. It was in his blood, his mother and his grandfather both were adventurers of a type, always talking about the wild stories of dragons and knights, a dreamy look in his grandfather's eyes.
Blue mane flowing behind him the young foal bounded out for the day, the sun barely rising up above the crest of the horizon, his eyes looked over the area, and he called out to see if anyone was around, "Anyone want to go out for an adventure?" He yelled loudly, knowing his sisters if they could hear would be all for this kind of exciting day. He only hoped there would be others who'd join them, though he'd not met many foals around the area.

Leila flicked her tail a little boredly. She couldn't seem to find her cousin to play with, and had wandered a little ways away from her siblings. But she needed something to do. There was too much energy bubbling inside of her and she needed something to do to dispel it. She was a little less adventurous than her mother and grandfather, and even her brother, but if she wasn't the only one going along for the ride, she had no problem going on an adventure. She just didn't like going on her own.
She sighed a little, until she heard the voice of her brother calling out. She grinned as she made out his words and turned in his direction, hooves pounding as she made her way to him. "Rakshiii! I wanna gooo!" she called as she ran. She giggled lightly as she drew nearer to him, but didn't quite put the breaks on early enough and ended up skidding a little, landing on her rear right in front of her brother. "Heya!" she said and giggled up at him as she stood and shook herself. "Didja have someplace special in mind, brother?"

Adventure was waiting for her, she could just smell it. Her little tail gave a flick behind her, her ears swiveling on her head. Exploring and the sense of adventure always made her excited. She liked the rush of not knowing what might come, or who'd she met in the long run, or what she might find out. Little Lilith was a bit of a sucker for knowledge, and meeting strangers. The filly began to hum as her eyes scanned the area looking for something interesting. All she saw was nothing but green, but she knew sooner or later she would have to run into something or someone. Many lived in these woods, creatures big and small. Continuing to trot through the forest, she pursued the nearing adventure.
She wondered if mother would be angry for her sneaking off once again, she didn't care if she was. Adventure was around the corner and she was going to find it. As she continued fourth through the forest, the trees and brush began to lessen, as she heard the voices of others. She was quite the ways from home now. Her thoughts about her mother becoming angry had vanished as her excitement in meeting new friends overrode her worry. "Where are we going?" She inquired as she stepped out of the woods and made her own present known.

Ilyrana wandered around the cave that she called home - located at the bottom of the lake, it was probably the least interesting place in the world. She was bored. Of course, she was humming, but that was such a constant that it wasn't entertaining; only natural. Shaking out her short mane, she made her way to the cave's entrance and looked out into the deep lake.
It was dark. And kinda scary. Illy huddled next to the rocky wall, hiding from whatever creatures she thought might be out there. In reality, she knew it was probably just her mother and her mother's friends and some fish, but her imagination was wild. Even though some scary things might be out there, she wanted to see them - almost just to be able to say she had. Nervous, she let herself float out into the open water just a few feet from the cave's entrance. Sunbeams barely broke the dimness down here, and she looked up.
Far above her head, fronds of lakeweed branched out and ended, and a huge light shone above the surface. Suppressing a happy giggle at her first chance to actually go somewhere, Illy swam toward the light, humming gleefully along the way.

Rakshi grinned at his sister who was super disheveled looking by the time she stopped skidding, "Nope. nowhere special." He was still grinning as another foal appeared and asked where they were going. He looked her over and flicked his tail, "Well, it depends on what direction we might want to head."
He couldn't surmise what she was as of yet, interested in knowing who she was he tilted his head, "So who are you?" He motioned to himself and his sister, "I'm Rakshi, and this is my little sister Leila" He glanced around a bit, "My other sister, Tian isn't with us yet." He tried to keep from asking, but couldn't help himself, "What are you? You have such a cool looking tail."
His ears twitch, the slight tone of something musical in a different direction, he now had a plan, they'd go find what was humming. It would be perfect, but he'd wait just a little longer before informing his cohorts of his idea.

Leila grinned happily as another foal joined them. "Hiya!" she said before her brother introduced the two of them. "Nice ta meetcha!" She blinked and looked first at Rakshi when he asked what the newcomer was, and then to the filly, catching a glimpse of her tail. "Oh wow! That does look cool!" she giggled, her own tail waving back and forth. She thought she might have heard something lyrical on the wind, but she ignored it for now, waiting to make the other foal's acquaintance.

Lilith was silent for a while pondering on it. Her head turned back to look at her own tail. It was just now that she realized that it was different from everyone else's including her mothers. "I'm quite unsure," She replied back giving a small flick before she turned her attention back to the two other foals in front of her. "Mother doesn't have a tail like this, she has wings, but I don't. Maybe father has a tail like mine, but I never met him."
She watched both of them for a while wondering what it would be like to have siblings. Having other foals to play with back home. "You can call me Lilith!" she semi shouted at them finally introducing herself.

She'd been happily snoozing in the sun from her earlier game of 'Prot the dragon' Her head lifter from the deep grass a bit aways from her brother when she'd heads an unfamiliar voice. "Hmm?" Yawning, she looked around trying to focus. "Rakshi? Who're you talking to?" Standing she gave a stretch and another great yawn before her eyes finally fell on her siblings and the other filly. "Oh! Hello!" She smiled and trotted over, half pouncing her brother and gnawing on his mane playfully.

Rakshi nodded lightly, "Then someday we shall figure that out! but that is an adventure for another." He stated in a most heroic tone. He liked the name, he was going to say as much, but he was suddenly being slobbered on by his sister, "Ah, Lilith, this is the a fore mentioned Tian, also known as "Prot the dragon" or Tia. Be wary, she does drool a bit." He grinned knowing he was likely to get slurped for a blunt introduction like that. He figured by the time he grew up he'd be saliva resistant.
Taking the lead, "So, shall we head in..." he listened a little harder and found the tune from before, "That direction!" He gave his head a nod and waited for the consensus of all that were present. He also realized, that if he didn't make some male friends after awhile there were bound to be those who would think him less than stallion like, especially with two of the fillies being his sisters. But that was a worry for another time.

"Maybe I'll find out when I grow" she replied back, quite positive she would. After all once she was grown she would have met quite a few other types of soq. Lilith gave a small giggle as she watched Rakashi's sister nibble on you. "It's nice to meet you Tian" she said.
Her head turned to the direction that Rakshi had pointed in. "Sounds like a start," She replied back, her tail giving a small swish behind her. "So what sort of things do you think we will find during this adventure?"

"Nice to meet you too!" She proceeded to n** her brother's ear and nose, ears flicked back in play. She then stopped to follow the direction he'd nodded at and blinked. "Sure! maybe we'll find the dragons of old! or a knight! or something.." She danced about some much like her grandmother did when she was excited before zipping off without another word. Her attention span was often short unless she was doing something like playing a game. "Common slow pokes!" she giggled as she ran.

He grinned at Lilith, "Well I think that's a reliable idea." He was going to answer as to what they'd find, then his sister went off about dragons, knights and the like. He wondered where the heck her short attention span had come from, but then, he suffered from it now and then himself. "Or we could find more foals. You never know with the woods around here." He wanted to know more Soquili, find more things out about the world, a few scars from scares wouldn't kill him, he wasn't as courageous as others, but he was quick on his feet and could think things out fairly well.
He glanced around as he kept up with his sister, who seemed to think they were slowpokes, then shrugged it off as he wasn't slow, he was taking his time, looking before he leaped a little more often than his sister, "Come on Leila, you don't want to be left behind."

"Maybe other kinds of Soquili, and then maybe we can find out what kind of soquili I am." She put in quite excitedly. Hopefully sooner or later she'd be able to find out what she was. There was a pause as she began to wonder what sort of creatures these dragons were that Tian mentioned. Now that she thought about it one of Tian's nickname had dragon in it. "So what is a dragon exactly?" She questioned the two.

Criana opened her eyes to an absolutely gorgeous day. Looking around, she saw that both of her parents were still asleep. They must be absolutely exhausted taking care of herself and two siblings. Not wanting to stir them, she gingerly picked herself up and wandered off. It was a perfect day for a stroll in the woods to wake herself up more fully.

She peered back at Lilith and grinned, turning and trotting backwards as she spoke. "Dragons are HUGE fire breathing lizards, at least that's what Grandfather says." She turned back around and giggled. Oh yes The stories her grandfather told were the best.
She had the short attention span that suited her curiosity and up beat way of thinking. No nothing bad usually crossed her mind. She saw the glass as half full and looked at the world with a positive attitude. Her bravery often lead her to bring home all sorts of interesting things she wanted to keep as "friends". Like a snake, a spider she'd nudged all the way one till it bit her nose and she flung it with a snort at her mother. of course, her mother hadn't though it very funny at the time... still not even mother was afraid of the spider.
