Kickin' A** fast,
Putting on a show! Announcer: "Introducing first, standing in at six feet even, weighing in at 226 pounds, reigning from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he is The Mercenary, Xavier Crosss!" Xavier Cross comes out onto the stage to a roar of cheers from the crowd. He pumps his fist into the air and forms a gun with his hand. He lowers his hand and points it to the stage, pretending to fire a shot at it, smirking while doing so. Go on and get yourself together
There's no time to rest,
And if you put the time in
He'll put you to the test!
He's like a "running man"
In this world more is less!
And if you wanna test him best bring your best.
Don't make me spell it out,
Bring your best! Xavier makes a dash for the ring and dives through the ropes, sliding in half way. He jumps to his feet, makes his way to a turnbuckle and climbs it. He performs his second taunt by crossing his arms above his head, and forming guns with his hands. In this world (HIS WORLD!)

Where compromise does not exist,
In his world, the flow's every step meets the rest! He smiles for the crowd, brushes his fingers through his hair, then hops down. He rests against the turnbuckle as the music dies down and he waits for his opponent.

The sound of thunder and lightning echoes throughout the arena as the titan tron shows the image of a desert,the storm brewing off in the distance. A chorus of voices could be heard laughing,crying, and speaking- all at once. The noise stopped,but it welcomed something more. A deep,powerful voice spoke against the sounds of chanting and bells tolling in the background.A dark,shadowy figure appeared;rapidly walking to the screen. The face of this person couldn't be seen,leaving which left no clue as to who it was.
"My secret side I keep hid under lock and key

A bolt of lightning struck,creating a flash on the screen before it turned to darkness. The half of a pale white face emerged from the darkness,and that face was the face of Phoenixfire. At this time,Phoenixfire strode down the ramp with no emotion on her face while the lighting of the arena turned to a deep shade of purple. Her hips swayed from side to side as a layer of fog began to form at her feet. She approached the steel steps and walked up them,stopping at the turnbuckle before looking to the crowd. Phoenix stepped through the ropes and sprinted to one of the turnbuckles,then placing herself on the second rope. She held her arms open and her face pointed upwards as the lights flickered through out the arena. After the lights went to normal,she jumped down and began to pace around the ring.

Xavier moves to the center of the ring as the ref checks the competitors. Xavier is ready and once Phoenixfire is ready the bell rings. Xavier moves in on her attempting a lock up up into a quick arm drag.

Phoenixfire approached the center of the ring hesitantly, knowing that she was placing herself at risk by going toe to toe with someone almost twice her size. However, an opponent was an opponent, regardless of size or gender. Phoenixfire was grateful to have anything at all since some of her past matches had ended up less than perfect for a number of reasons. She took a deep breath before heading into the lock up but found herself a victim of the difference in size and falling prey to the arm drag Mr. Cross had pulled out of his bag of tricks.

Xavier takes a step back, thinking he possibly put too much power into the arm drag. He stands back and waits for Phoenixfire to stand before continue. Once she was up he would offer another lock up.

Phoenixfire was both astonished and disgusted with the fact a man had taken pity on her so early on in the match. She wasn't asking for a beating or a pardon but simply a good match that was owed to her as a Diva worthy enough to be placed against a male. Phoenix took a deep breath as she readied herself to get back to her feet, eager to get this match off to a spectacular start. If she faced a lock up as she expected to, Phoenix would have to use her size to her advantage somehow.

With Phoenixfire back up on her feet, Xavier moves in for another lock up. If they do lock up, Xavier will try to pull Phoenixfire into a headlock.

Phoenixfire went through with the lock-up and found herself being wrangled into a headlock. She expected that Xavier would do his best to get ahead of his competition and the fact that she was female made his job barely easier than it would have been with an opponent of the same sex. Phoenixfire had to use her strength wisely and would struggle as much as was wise to do in order to free herself.

Xavier can feel Phoenixfire struggling to break free from the hold so he tries to go for a headlock takedown.

Phoenixfire was left with no choice but to follow through with whatever Xavier had in his power to throw at her, knowing that resisting could mean certain injury. It was not her ideal but it was necessary to affirming that she would be able to mount a successful offensive somewhere later on in the match. Phoenix found herself flipping and landing spine first on the mat beneath her before feeling Xavier's weight pressing into her chest, taking her breath away and making it nearly impossible to fight back against her opponent.

After the takedown Xavier lets go of the headlock, stands up and attempts a corkscrew elbow drop to Phoenixfire's gut.
