Every movie has goofs. And some of the ones in the 2004 Phantom of the Opera are fun to play with. Personally, I like "Meg's Magic Pants". Any goofs anyone has noticed in the 2004 or any other version of Phantom of the Opera?
arrow Meg's pants become wet while walking through the Phantom's chambers, then are dry seconds later. (2004)
arrow Christine's hair is loose/wild while running up the stairs in "Why Have You Brought Me Here", then is tied back on the roof. (2004)
arrow Towards the end (after "Point of No Return") Christine throws down the viel from the wedding dress. When the Phantom makes his escape it is back on the mannequin. When Meg passes by the mannequin it is gone. (2004)

Also, before the Phantom first takes Christine in the 2004 movie, her eye shadow is a very light blueish-greenish color, and her hair is perfect, then as they sing "Phantom of the Opera", her hair is mussed and her eyeshadow turns dark purple....I'm sure its to signify some sort of change in Christine's emotions, but I still think it's a little odd...
Or how the Phantoms hair is black and full, even when Christine takes off his mask in the vault, yet when she does after "Past the Point of No Return" the Phantom's hair is blonde and scraggly.

Answer to the second. If you ever noticed when he is putting on his black mask then burning the mini secne there ir a wig in the back. Just go to show the the phatom wears a wig and in the movie has blond hair

Okay. Going back a bit to the 1925 version.
arrow Ledoux falls down a trap door and is clearly out of reach of the trap door opening. Raoul, in the next shot, merely hands down a lantern to him as if he is only a couple of feet away.

Wow, I didn't even noticed some of those. I guess the next time I watch it I'll have to look out for that. n_n
In the 2004 movie.... One thing I noticed was at the cemetery when Raoul and the Phantom are fighting, the Phantom's hair is bouncing around and then all of a sudden it's perfect again.
Anywhoo, that's all I have. n_n

The most common goof that everyone's noticed: When Christine is coming to his lair in PotO and MotN, she has garters on. After Music of the Night, they're gone.
Here's one that I've noticed: When Christine sees the manquine in MotN, and she faints. When Erik catches her and is carrying her to her room, he accidently run her head into a curtain rope...thing.

Her dressing robe continues to mysteriously be untied and retied. And I'm not EVEN going to go into books-musical-movie comparisons... xp

Alatariel Surion Myurr. I have a spaz-attack whenever Carlotta comes on in the 2004 movie; the singing and her moving lips do not match. Grrawr! *sporks the editor to death* This is because Minne Driver plays Carlotta but Carlotta's Singing voice is an entirely different person. Minne Driver's real voice is the one you hear singing "Learn to be Lonely" during the ending credits. I noticed this first when I looked inside the little booklet of the movie soundtrack CD. They give credit for Carlotta's Singing Voice to a whole different person.

To me, it seemed very sloppy. >.<

~Mimi Marquez~ The most common goof that everyone's noticed: When Christine is coming to his lair in PotO and MotN, she has garters on. After Music of the Night, they're gone. Here's one that I've noticed: When Christine sees the manquine in MotN, and she faints. When Erik catches her and is carrying her to her room, he accidently run her head into a curtain rope...thing. I told all my friends about that second one. Hehehe.

In MOTN you can see the shadow of a camera. The picture in Carlotta's dressing room has ALW head on it. When Raoul is in the water at one point the bubbles go down. Theres others, but I don't want to post them now.
