Ok... to start things off I'll briefly summarize what will happen in this thread...
Blow stuff up, shoot stuff, blow more stuff up, shoot each other, drive around in cool vehicles while blowing stuff up, blowing each other up, blow yourself up and respawn every time you die with no more of an ill effect then simply loosing the weapons you picked up and going back to the starting weapons.
general rules of conduct:
be at least somewhat respectful, don't be a jerk, no screen watching, keep god-moding to a minimum and don't get cocky or try to show off...

now then, I want this to be a civilized, good, clean, chaotic blood bath... and above all else have fun blowing stuff up... twisted

ok... in the next several posts I'll outline the weapons, gear, vehicles, terrain and whatever else I deem necessary...

Weapons

The following will be the descriptions of will include range (from you to target) for ideal efectiveness (close 0'-10' ft, medium close 10'-20', medium 20'-40', medium far 40'-60', far 60'-100'), whether it can be used in duel weilding, rate of fire and general damage done by the weapon (specific damage is determined by the area hit: head, arm, leg, torso or chest). Note: some have other info aswell, and you may carry one weapon as a secondary (aka - you can have one that's straped on your back while you've got the one ((or two if duel weilding)) that your using out)

Name: SMG - "sub-machine gun"
Range: close to medium
Rate of fire: high - full auto, 60 round clips
Acuracy: medium low
Weilding: dual
Damage: low

Name: Magnum
Range: close to medium
Rate of fire: medium - non-auto, 10 round clips
Acuracy: medium
Weilding: dual
Damage: medium low

Name: Battle Rifle
Range: close to medium far
Rate of fire: medium - three round bursts, 30 round clips
Acuracy: medium high
Weilding: mono
Damage: medium

Name: Rocket Launcher
Range: medium close to far
Rate of fire: low - non auto, two round clips
Acuracy: medium
Weilding: mono
Damage: medium low to high - explosive damage, direct hit will cause instant death
Other: can lock on to target vehicles

Name: Sniper rifle
Range: medium to far
Rate of fire: low - non auto, 5 round clips
Acuracy: high
Weilding: mono
Damage: high - two to three rounds in non-leathal areas will kill, head shot causes instant death

Name: Beam rifle
Range: medium to far
Rate of fire: medium low - non auto, 2-3 rounds in close proximaty before it over heats
Acuracy: high
Weilding: mono
Damage: high - two to three rounds in non-leathal areas will kill, head shot causes instant death

Name: Plasma Rifle
Range: close to medium
Rate of fire: high - full auto, shoots up to 30 consecutive rounds before over heating

Range: close to medium
Rate of fire: medium - non auto, energy scource limited 10 charged shots and it's dead

Rate of fire: high - full auto, 60 round clip

Rate of fire: medium low - non auto, 5 round clip
Acuracy: low, rounds may bounce bounce

Damage: medium low to medium high - explosive damage (smaller area then rocket launcher)
Other: melee kills sheilds instantly

Name: Grenade
Range: close to medium
Rate of fire: medium low
Acuracy: low - tossed, bounces and short time delay
Weilding: mono *only available if not dual weilding* (limit four at a time)
Damage: medium to high, explosive damage

Name: Plasma Grenade
Range: close to medium
Rate of fire: medium low
Acuracy: low - tossed, bounces and short time delay
Weilding: mono *only available if not dual weilding* (limit four at a time)
Damage: medium to high, explosive damage
Other: if hits an enemy direcly it will stick to them

Name: Energy Sword

Other: can lunge with moderate acuracy from medium range or closer

Other: stationary rotating turret, only four - two on each side of the canyon wall, can be accessed through the cave system.

Name: Over Sheild
Effect: temporarily increases the sheild streangth of the user (approximately 3x original), will fade over time and does not regen will revert to normal sheild when it's streangth retuns to normal.

Name: Active Camo
Effect: temporarily cloaks the user

1 - sheild, recharges over a short time of inactivity
1 - SMG
2 - Grenades
1 - Radar (shows enemy movement within a close proximity - 0' to 20')

Terrain

the area is in a valley several thousand yards long and about half as wide.
there are two obvious bunkers/bases with several floors, each floor with access to the others through an elevator system, ability to drop in from the roof to top floor, two one way warps one is located on each base and leads to the out side (each leading to a different point)
there are hills, crevices, boulders and trees (to hide in/behind, note: trees can be knocked down by excessive force such as heavy vehicles or rockets, and boulders can be rolled slowly by the heavier vehicles *aka the tanks*, please do try to avoid letting them fall on top of you)
there is also a network of caves and trails along the valley walls (there are rumored to be small bunkers in the cave systems that have vehicles and weapons, so far there have been no confirmations)
Note: if you wish you may take advantage of the terrain, you may use rocks, sticks, grass and whatever else to construct a hiding spot, to annoy people, and to attack people... however they will not cause any damage

Fauna

there are some animals that may be run across from time to time.
these are alien creatures so basic descriptions will be listed, but no names just yet... players can name them if they wish

Name: Unknown #1
Description: small rodent like creature, it is timid and relatively quick moving, known to in habit the bases, caves and other such areas.

Name: Unknown #2
Description: large rodent like creature, distinctly different from *#1* in appearance it is twice the size and more violent, may attack if it feels threatend, poses no danger though, just an anoyance

Name: Unknown #3
Description: large wolf like creature, poses little danger on its own but tends to move in small packs of two to three. will not attack unless provoked

Name: Unknown #4
Description: very large serpentine creature, a constrictor in nature, lives in the caves and have been rumored to be in the bases basements, aproach with caution

Name: Unknown #5
Description: large bird like creature, not a major threat but will occasionally pick up people and carry them to caves near the top of the valley walls

Name: Unknown #6
Description: small insectoids, not a threat and easily overlooked

Name: Unknown #7
Description: large subteranean worm 5-10 meters long only found in loose soils such as sand and loose dirt, senses vibrations and will swallow people whole, very dangerous and should be avoided, if you see one nearby stop moving untill it is out of range or run to rocky soil or trees, if swallowed attempt to shoot your way out or use a grenade in a kamikazi move that will blow it up and potentially you as well.

1. Since this is Halo-ish we should be able to make teams, or at the very least alliances. but we'd have to get a lot of people active before it would be feasable.

*spawns inside one of the cave* great... I just get in and I'm already gonna have to explore these caves... *looks around on the ground for any weapons and sees a needler and two grenades* ... I think that might work *puts the SMG on his back and picks up the needler and grenades then switches back to the SMG* well now... how do I get out of here... *looks around and sees four different tunnels leading out of the cave he's in with no indication of which will lead to the outside world* ... what to do... which way to go... idea

*he walks slowly down the tunnel for what seems like an eternity (about 15 minutes) knowing that there could be an enemy around any corner*
... how much furthur... *he turns a corner and sees light up ahead, he starts running towards it then suddenly stops... he looks up and sees the scource of the light to be a hole 20 meters above his head that he has no hope of reaching* User Image ... I knew I should-a went with miney... *he looks around and sees no other tunnels besides the one he entered through* oh well... I guess I should head back... *trips over a rock and falls flat on his face* ouch... I'm just glad no one saw that... *he gets up and continues back through the tunnel*
