gonk Clowns are always scary crying I seriously am freightend of clowns, that and BIG spiders.

I think clowns are awesome. Everybody in my family thinks they are creepy though.

I'm not sure I find them scary, maybe a little unnerving but...
When I was little my parents took me to a circus that was in town. I was really young and I had a hard time telling the different between set up gags and real life situations. The was one that involved a clown driving in this little car, and the gag was that he'd pulled the steering wheel off and couldn't control it. I had no idea this was a joke that was part of the act and I got really scared and thought they were going to crash. In the end my parents had to take me out because I was crying so hard.
So I guess in the past, yeah they have scared me.
