Tsubame found that she had the afternoon to herself. Ban'ma's cubs were being minded by Ban'ma for the most part with Namir's help. Maua was hunting and her cubs were either with Ban'ma and Namir or they are playing with their friends in the pride. And the older females still at the den were either helping with the cubs or socializing with other banu. In any case Tsu had the afternoon to just be by herself at least until the noon heat faded enough for her to go on a extended hunting trip. One that will last at least a hour since she is hoping to bring down some larger prey to feed her large family.
She found herself wandering down to the lake where she was likely to encounter other banu and beybanu. The idea didn't strike her as a particularly bad one so she continued on her path. Thoughts of her family and her sons who were still not back yet kept her mind occupied until she realized that she was standing at the edge of the lake without realizing when she got there.

 Shahla’s eyes were hallow, her body burning from heat, yet everything was limp from the overall mental breakdown she was having. Her paw was resting in the water, an occasional nibble felt from the smaller fish in the water. Yet it didn’t cause she to move it away, she didn’t care anymore. She felt the presence of many near her, felt their eyes meet her body, hold, and then drift off.
It was only when a blue figure walked in front of her and stood there for some time that she broke away from her musings. Heaving a sigh, the young adult lioness looked away from the blue female.
“I am sorry. I shall move.”
Ears drooped as the malnourished lioness looked back towards the blue lioness next to her pitifully before realizing the female before her wasn’t fully there. She was somewhere deep in her thoughts. Pulling herself up, Shahla got ready to leave the area, unwilling to upset another.

It took Tsubame a moment to realized that she was not alone. A younger lioness was also at the lake, one who looked as if her world was slowly coming to an end then again maybe that was just part of the slightly bleak thoughts that Tsu was originally thinking.
Not sure if she interrupted the lioness's musings or visa verse Tsu apologized just in case. "Pardon, I wasn't really paying attention." Her thoughts drifted slightly before she really looked at the other lioness. She looked as if she needed food, but the light in her eyes gave Tsu the idea that even if she had food she might not eat. It seemed this young female needed a friendly ear, something Tsu could easily provide.
Not entirely sure what to say, even shaking off much of her shyness Tsu still had issues starting conversations, she could only stand there watching the other female. Uncertainty and friendliness was in her posture and eyes for anyone to read. If only she knew how to politely ask if there was something wrong.
