So there is a small island with a harbor in it. It only has one village which is right on the shore in the harbor.
Well there are other races that inhabit this harbor. Though they quite literally live in the Harbor.
But out of these you don't want to run into the Siren. The Siren is a special mermaid who was born with the immense urge to sing and when she does the siren song flows out of her mouth. Hauntingly beautiful the song penetrates all human ears and brings them to the harbor. Then from there the inhabitants of the water take over...
Audrey never wanted to be the siren but was born with the ability and urge. She has tried to stop before but that only lets the Siren song build in her head and when it does it will drive her insane if she waits too long to sing. So every night she goes out into the harbor and sings while the creatures of the water have, basically, a giant party. She is rejected because of what she is even among mermaids and just wants someone to care about her. She often goes into the village during the day.
Oh yeah, if somehow you're kissed by the Siren and you are a human you will become a merperson.

Bio: Mika is a kind hearted girl, she always felt sorry for the Siren for having to be alone. But she always listened to her parents to stay away, until one day when everyone was at the party she came out into the harbor to see the Siren Audrey.

Cody grew up as a normal kid on the coast but once when he was 17, he was able to purchase his own boat and on his 18th birthday, he set sail but lost where he was going.
