Kasumi was doing her best to live up to her duty as Student Council Secretary. While the council itself seemed pretty inactive at the moment, she was still busy preparing for several upcoming events (at least, upcoming in that they were buzzing around her incorporeal mind). She was wandering about the halls, pad of paper and pen in hand, jotting down any and every idea that came to mind. Perhaps a costume ball would be in order! Yes! While the planning would have to wait until after she was finished with her homework for the day, she couldn't help but get excited. She would have to ask G and perhaps even Nuk for some help in decorating, and run the idea past Miss President Rain, but she was sure the undead girl wouldn't mind. Costumes were fun!

She sidestepped several students and phased through several more, having become a staple in the halls. Students were probably already aware that she was a ghost and didn't have to worry about crashing into someone. She didn't even bother to look up sometimes, but did apologize to students who weren't prepared for the shock. Being a ghost definitely had its perks!

There was one individual she didn't recognize - one in pajamas that looked like a fox? How unusual. Perhaps she was a skinwalker like Nukpana? Being curious, Kasumi wandered up closer to the girl. She appeared to be holding a schedule and looked utterly lost. It was up to Kasumi to assist! Being student council, she had a duty to perform! "Excuse me, miss? Do you need assistance?" she asked quietly, making sure she didn't phase through the young student and scare her.

It was her first official day. She'd been there a few days already but now her classes were starting. Holly wasn't even sure what she'd sign up for! Luckily she was able to find her way from the dorms to the main classes building but now she was lost.

Many students were going around, through and all which ways in the building. Holly was just standing there looking at a piece of paper. She had to be corporal enough to hold the paper. The ghoul turned it around and that way and this. Nope, still not sure where to go.

That's when she heard someone. Holly turned and saw Kasumi. At least someone around here was helpful and didn't just leave her be. "Oh. Uh, yeah. I'm looking for my first class. New and all."

Kasumi nearly clapped her hands in joy like a deranged seal. A ghost! Another ghost student! JOY OF JOYS. She was clearly beaming at the prospect of having another ghost to talk to and spend time with. It wasn't too often that she could find someone else. She was more than happy to assist! Firstly though, she had to introduce herself. "My name is Kasumi, and I'm part of the Student Council here at Amityville. It's a very nice place to stay and learn, I assure you." This was starting out like a business proposal, but professionalism counted for something! "Have you found your dorm already? If not, I can lead you there after classes. I'm free for a little while. Oh, but you have a schedule! Which class are you looking for, or are you off today? If you are, I can show you around the school if you wouldn't mind."

Classes were one thing and clubs were another! But Kasumi would get to this eventually. First, she had to learn the girl's name! She was just so happy to meet another ghost that it would have been sickening had they been alive. Ghosts were simply too few and far between for her liking.

Well this ghoul seemed quite happy to have come across her. Was she another ghost? Holly still couldn't tell the difference between some of the students. Demons had horns, she knew that. Student Council, that explained why she was so friendly. They were required to help people, right? "Good to meet you then, I'm Holly." She scratched the back of her neck. "Well I found it earlier but I don't remember the way back from here. If you didn't mind showing me." Again. What was this the third person she had asked about finding the dorm. She looked at the paper again. "I have the Etiquette class, but that isn't until later I think. Mind showing me around?" Wouldn't hurt to be shown the rooms and not just wander.

The other ghost was utterly delighted. Taking up the girl's arm, Kasumi smiled. "I'd be more than happy to show you around, Miss Holly! Now, if you would please come with me, we'll begin the tour!" The older ghost wore a huge smile on her face, phasing right through a couple of the students who were walking in the middle of the hallway. It didn't bother Kasumi in the slightest, though it tended to surprise newer students. It wasn't like Kasumi looked like anything in particular, and usually 'ghost' was the last thing on someone's mind. It would have been obvious to Holly at that point that Kasumi was a ghost just like she was. That thought might have been comforting. The Student Council Secretary was busy pointing out various classrooms and odds and ends Holly might have found interesting or useful.

"Now, this is the Headmistress' office. You don't want to be in there unless you need something very important. I went in there on my first day and met Ms. ...I mean, Mister Secretary and found a gnome to show me to my dorm, but you don't have to do that anymore. So many more students are here now that anyone can show you about." As they continued, Kasumi pointed out the beloved Lost and Found Bin where anyone could find new additions to their wardrobe. "Here are the bathrooms, but thankfully, you and I don't need to bother with that anymore. At the end here is the entrance to the main creepateria... Again, something we only need to bother with out of nostalgia!"

The ghost looked back to see if Holly had any questions.

Holly was very glad to have ran into a ghost. Okay well not ran but found, running into things literally for a ghost is hard. She had talked to a few students the other day but no other ghosts like her. Some of the things they asked her about never pertained to her at all. Well the sewing sounded fun even if Holly could never wear the stuff permanently. "Sounds good." She picked up step with the other ghoul who phased through some people. Holly still wasn't use to the idea of phase at all. Barely been a ghost at all but was picking up things she could do like that. Others hadn't been picking up ghost from her at all yet. Nor did they guess that she was really a fox ghost in her true form.

She nodded as they walked. "A gnome?" Kasumi must have been here a while then. "Yeah I had found someone helpful earlier to point me towards the dorms." Holly mentally noted the things she said as best she could. "I think I got that all down. And the classrooms are?"

Kasumi kept up a leisurely, but professional, pace while showing the new ghost around. Holly looked like she was new to being a ghost as well, though that could simply have been Kasumi's perception of things. It was difficult to get used to being a ghost, especially not having access to your old memories. Kasumi herself felt quite alone for some time before finding a friend in Belladonna and Junko. Without them, she'd be utterly lost. "Classrooms are down this hall, generally." she explained, pointing to a hall that seemed to stretch on for miles upon miles. "Sometimes classes are held somewhere else, like outside the school buildings or in the gym or something like that. I would recommend seeing Miss Professor Red at least once. Her class is very invigorating!"

The older (or so she thought) ghost gestured with delight. The gym class was so much fun, she could not stop gushing about it. "Even though we don't have muscles, we can still participate and she can teach you to utilize your FEAR. It's a very useful class. I highly recommend attending at least one. What classes are you enrolled in now, Miss?"

Holly kept up quite well with Kasumi's pace. It was a lot to take in. The knowledge that you had so recently passed away with no idea who or what you were besides how you looked in death. She was still figuring out why she was in awesome pajamas. Although she had yet to make an official friend the tour had made her felt the most welcome out of everything so far. Holly nodded, pretty easy to remember. "Gym? Invigorating?" That sounded kind of scary. Holly did not know what this gym was but she'd have to remember to at least look into it so she'd know whether to avoid it or not.

FEAR, now that was something she remembered hearing something about. "FEAR? I'd love to know how to use that. What was mine again?" Ah, that was right, some fire-move thing. She'd need some proper training for sure. "So far I'm in a literature class and some etiquette thing. I think I need to sign up for more." Holly rubbed the back of her neck. "Have any suggestions on what is good to take around here?" Suggestions were always nice especially since Kasumi knew what she was talking about.

Now, asking about classes was one sure-fire way to keep Kasumi blabbering on and on about any and everything. And that's exactly what Kasumi did. Thankfully for the two of them, ghosts possessed neither lungs no eardrums, so Holly was safe from earaches and Kasumi didn't have to worry about taking a breath during her rambling. "Oh yes, gym is fantastic and there's no real threat to ghosts like us at all. We can't be hurt, but Miss Professor Red has extensive knowledge on FEAR and how to train oneself properly. As for classes I would recommend, most all of them have something valuable! There's Forms and Faces where one learns to change one's appearance, you're in the literature class I've heard so much about... Oh, the headmistress, Miss Helma, she teaches a class where you can learn to control your shadow. It's very interesting!"

Stopping just short of making one full lap of the main building of the school, Kasumi turned about. "These are the lockers, just in case you have more supplies than you can carry. There are some classes that give out special supplies, but those will be provided to you. You don't have to worry about bringing something special unless it's asked of you, but you'll know ahead of time. Any questions?"

Kasumi was practically beaming.

This ghoul sure could talk! Not that it was bad or anything. This was the most information anyone had ever given her ever. It was good, Holly just had to remember it all so she wouldn't have to be constantly reminded. Gym didn't sound too bad, it sounded fun actually. "I like that, not getting hurt. Does that FEAR class get taught a lot then?" Note to self, take that. "Wait, we can change appearances and control shadows?" Maybe being dead wasn't that bad after all.

Lockers, keep school stuff in that I don't need. "Oh, like some of those books I see people with?" That made sense. "Is... there anything else I really need to know?"

The FEAR class? Ah yes, Gym! Kasumi tittered on, positively radiant (if a ghost was capable of doing such, aside from wisps). "I'm honestly not sure how often Miss Professor Red goes and teaches a Gym class, but I would assume that since it's so important, she hosts them fairly regularly. I had such a good time during the class I was in. She was explaining how everyone's FEAR was different, oh! And she levels the playing field by not allowing Reapers to use their weapons. Then she had us work out... Kasumi yammered on and on about the ups and downs of gym class, how she felt about it, how much she learned... Holly may have fallen asleep at this point.

Before long though, Kasumi snapped back to Holly's other question. "Anything else you need to know? Hmm... oh, definitely be yourself, hard as that may be. It really comes in handy when learning your way around, socially and otherwise. I mean, if you be yourself, then that's one less thing to worry about, right?"

Holly grinned. “Well, I should be able to get in to it one day yeah? That’ll be cool.” FEAR just sounded so awesome and she’d listen to the other ghoul all day if she could able class. Something about fighting sounded awesome.

Anything else? “I can’t think of anything else. Thanks though, been super helpful and I’ll be sure to keep that in mind.” The ghoul grinned a bit. “If I have any other questions I’ll be sure to find ya.” They did live in the same dorm after all. “I’ll try to be myself, still figuring out who I am and all but.”

“Thanks!” Holly decided to make it to class and waved to the other ghoul.

((Finishing this up because, ugh, I don't want to leave things hanging and it was just about done anyway <3 ))
