Shelai'doan - -_Wish of the Goddess_-
&
Theluji-lesani - Das Tor

Yawning softly the young Cheetah found himself running along Pridal lands. He knew it belonged to a bunch of Lions because of the smell, his silver, blue, and green fur rather fluttering in the wind. It didn't take long before he slowed down, tired, and about ready to do...nothing. He'd been running for a day or two, anyways.

Theluji had made it a habit to make a trip to the borders every few days, to keep an eye out for Jukwa. At least one of the cubs created between the two of them would be of good coloring, he was confident. Pale. At the very least, he hoped she would allow him to SEE them, even if there was a pale cub in the lot. His ears perked up when he caught an unfamiliar scent...a cheetah. Frowning, he made his way towards it, and stopped a few lion-lengths from the intruder. Hm..."Surely you didn't miss the border markings." Blunt, thy definition was Theluji.

Looking up to the Lion, his ears perked up, and the cheetah tipped his head to the side, "No. He didn't miss them. He could smell them, Shellshell could. But after the nice pink lady gave him food, Shellshell had to get to a new land quick." He nodded.

Theluji raised a brow. Pink lady? Perhaps he was talking about Jukwa. "I see. And why is that?" One generally didn't 'run' after getting food unless they stole it. If that were the case...he was almost tempted to run the other off. But his coloring could make him an asset to the pride. Especially since there was only one cheetah bloodline at the moment.

He purred softly, "Because Shellshell doesn't stop. Nice pink lady with the black eyes gave him a tasty zebra that she finished. She eated so much more than normal lion girls." He nodded slowly, "Shellshell wondered why, but that's okay. He got a meal." He smiled at Theluji, "Shellshell is Shelai'doan. It's nice to meet him."

This...was a very odd cheetah, Theluji decided. And the pink lion did sound like Jukwa, alright. "I am Theluji-lesani, Shelai'doan. A pleasure to meet you." If he didn't stop, that likely meant he had no interest in joining the pride. "Any particular reason why you 'don't stop'?" Call him curious.

Shell sighed, thinking, "Shell is....Running from something...Someone. His Pod and Parents.....Shellshell doesn't want to loose himself to them again." He leaned down, and closed his eyes softly, "....They were not nice...."

Theluji looked Shell over, then nodded. "Perhaps you simply need to find somewhere safe. It makes no sense to constantly run from your problems. They're never solved that way." Theluji had always tackled his problems head on in some way.

Glancing away, he thought for a moment, "He does not understand, but Shellshell is.....tired of running." He sighed, "Shellshell can't have family, is dangerous." He nodded, "Papa and mama is mean."

Theluji was so very confused now. How could the cheetah not understand something so simple? He sighed, ears going back in annoyance. "If you find a place willing to take you in and protect you, you wouldn't need to worry about them being mean. I'd suggest a place where the population is mostly lions...they're less likely to be intimidated by cheetahs."

He took a slow breath, "...Shellshell...would have to think about it a while. It has been a long time since he stayed still." Pale chartreuse eyes gazed at Theluji, "He really would. Shellshell is so used to being alone and hunting by himself...."

Theluji felt a bit of pity for the cheetah. "You can stay for the night. Rest." The gods had placed the cheetah in Theluji's path for a reason. He wasn't about to offend them. "You'll be safe here for a night. No need to worry about those chasing you."

The young male breathed softly, and nodded, "He does need to sleep. He hasn't done that in a day." Purring softly, he trotted forwards, "Thank you, Theluji. He really is in debt to him, for getting to sleep somewhere safe for the night." Stretching out, easily, the wavelike markings on his hips rippling softly.

Theluji nodded, then gave the other a small smile. "You are welcome. Come, I can show you where you can spend the night." There were spare dens scattered about the pride, and he didn't think Fasihi and Kizuka would mind a...'stray' for a night.

Shell purred softly, and nodded, following him on light paws, his eyes glancing about the Pride. This place was interesting, seriously. Maybe he could make a home here, if he felt safe enough....It would take time, but still.
