It might help with a bit of other information...
The description for her powers kind of reminded of genies. They have the power to do just about anything, but cannot use the power for themselves. They can only use it for others.
Tewi's profile says she has the ability to grant others luck. Nowhere does it say she herself is lucky or that she is immune to misfortune of any kind. In other words, it would seem to imply she either cannot or does not use her luck for herself.
But the RPers seem to like depicting her as a Goddess of Luck who is completely incapable of experiencing any kind of misfortune and gets her way right down to the letter.

A common misconception turned fanon, I guess. In that sense, though, she could almost pull a Yukari in the "gets her way" department.

I've never seen anyone RP her that way.
But either way, even if she could use her ability for herself, it's just luck. That doesn't mean she could get away from absolutely anything. If someone powerful like Yuka, or Remilia, or anyone else decided to go after her for whatever reason and they got in a fight, Tewi's gonna ********' lose.

Miasma Melancholy I've never seen anyone RP her that way. But either way, even if she could use her ability for herself, it's just luck. That doesn't mean she could get away from absolutely anything. Well, I was RPing with a Tewi and the player had her be lucky every time no matter how many attempts I made at bringing her misfortune for the misfortune she brought my character, and it got tiresome, the only thing the Tewi player allowed me to do was turn a plan of hers against her so she got what she wanted, but not how she wanted it.

That's not luck, that's godmodding. ETA: The Tewi player, not you! Yours sounds like good old-fashioned trickery, which in Japanese mythology is perfectly acceptable unless you're playing an oni and are drunk.
