k so-
I doodled a girl, and i practiced letters and wrote out the word "Hiatus" and wanted to know what you guys thought. OBVIOUSLY it is super noobish but just wanted to hear what you think I could do to improve.

well actually I had no intention of them interacting, lol. The word was a joke on the writer's challenge thread that they said they were taking a "hiatus" break so I did that like it was the word and the character was a random doodle. But thanks for the comment, I'll keep the advice in mind for when I attempt something like that.

The word actually looks pretty mint. Have you tried shading the 3D part?

The girls face seems a little squished out. but the actual features themselves look pretty good. I think the eyes may be looking in slightly different places

I can see you understand the concept of "style"... You're on the right path with your steez, but keep working on it... I like the style of the letters, but it can definitely be better. mrgreen
