 Inverse and Matrix were walking through the woods together, chatting. Inverse was happily reversing the poles on things, making gravity cease to work, here and there, while Matrix was fading in and out of sight. A typical day for the brothers.

  Balita and Filla were discussing an idea for some new Filigree when Balita felt balance shifting. "Hmm. We should stop here." Filla looked at her. "You sense something?" She was a tad nervous now and started to draw on an egg. Balita sighed. "I feel a tad bit of a disturbance. It comes from somewhere nearby." Filla gulped and worked on the egg,

Unaware of the girls, the brothers had gotten it into their heads to see what they could do together, now that they were adults. As teens they had managed to make a small tree fade in and out as it's branches reached to one side. Very anticlimactic. But now they were older, and had practiced their powers more. They shared a grin, just a stone's throw from the girls, but hidden by the trees. Their voices, however would reach.
"INVERSE!" Inverse yelled.
"MATRIX!" Matrix followed.
The results were more dramatic then either boy had anticipated. The trees all took on a static like black and white pattern, and flickered in and out of not just sight, but existence. The grass and sky seemed to do the same, but thankfully those still were solid. The whole area looked like part of a very old movie whose filmstrip was rotting away. The boys cheered, now visible to the girls they still had not noticed.

Balita saw it first and glared at the idiots across from her.
Filla saw it and was amazed by the pattern. "Neat!"
Balita decided to stop the idiots. She went back a bit and used her Panda Roll to knock them both off their hoofs.
Filla chased after her.

Matrix Fell.
"What in the black," Inverse started
"And white," Matrix continued
"World," Inverse
"happened?" Matrix finished.

Balita came out of her roll and stood. "Serves you two right for messing around with the balance of things."
Filla looked at them both. "Sorry Bally doesn't like people upsetting the balance around her."

Inverse got up and looked at the world around them.
Matrix rose after his brother.
"That was," Inverse started.
"FUN!" Matrix declared.

Matrix glared at his brother. "You didn't give me anywhere I could go with that."
"I gave you with we would. You chose to extend with absolutely."

Balita sighed. "Very well. Come on then." She turned and began to walk.
Filla smiled. "Do you always finish each others sentences?"
She was interested. But followed Balita.

"Should fix the forest?" Martix asked.

"Yes you should. It was your mess in the first place, so clean it up!" Balita was getting cranky with the balance still off.
Filla sighed. "That's so cute. I do wonder if you are ever apart though?"

"I don't know if," Inverse said
"We have ever been apart," Matrix said.
Both ponies shrugged then looked around at the world, trying to figure out how to fix the woods.
"What if we...?" Inverse asked.
""Then we could..." Matrix agreed.
"That could..." Inverse suggested.
"Work. Yes!" Matrix cheered.
