Ione padded across the dark University campus, a light sweater covering her quietly muscular form. She wasn’t overtly muscular, but constant exercise and training had given her a certain amount of tone. It was foggy, and the patchy mists chilled her face as she jogged through them on her morning run. Her clothing covered almost all of her body, but the oversensitive skin on her face was left exposed to the morning weather. The mixed female got through most days through sheer force of will and intense training, but in truth she still felt everything as vividly as the day she left the Facility. It was only through various training and treatments that she was physically able to deal with the sensory overload.
On the other side of things, though, Sunbae and her family had helped her deal with mentally getting over the whole ordeal. Especially Bae. Ione smiled to herself, passing through pools of light to patches of darkness as she passed underneath the lamps on the side of the path. He would probably be up by now, getting dressed or practicing his violin. Reaching the usual halfway point of her morning jog, Ione turned around and started heading back towards the dormatories.

SunBae was always up early. Unlike his father, and adoptive father, who usually slept late or lazed around. SunBae kept himself busy almost constantly, trying to keep his mind off of other things.
Even with the facility destroyed...well, shut down, at least, it was still scary to be close to the place. They were only a few hours walk away from the place that nearly killed him, his adoptive father, his siblings' mother...And so many other deaths that he couldn't even count. They'd destroyed his life in the beginning, but now he was determined to get it back the way he wanted it.
Of course, Ione ending up in the facility definitely hadn't helped. He knew the recovery process was hard, and because of the University's program to help them, it was a little easier. But it had been another earth-shattering encounter with the facility that had hurt her and possibly healed him.
His vision was getting better. His eyes were healing, it seemed, but the color remained the same. He could see shadows and shapes, pick out details on other cats' faces, including Ione's, which is what made him the happiest. He was still pretty skittish with certain situations, but then again he'd never been one to show how uncomfortable he was around large groups or open places.
But he was indeed practicing his violin. He'd been up for an hour or so now, got dressed, hunted down breakfast and returned to his dorm to work with his music. It was the only other thing, besides Ione, that kept him calm and collected without losing his temper. He'd been told he got his temper from JiYong, and he just hoped he'd never lose his mind like his father had. Sitting on the edge of the bed in a somewhat sloppy stance for the instrument, he swiveled his ears this way and that to catch the tune and the notes perfectly. How he'd ended up liking the opposite end of music from his family he'd never know. But he was sticking with it whether they liked it or not.

Breath misting on the air, Ione mounted the stairs to the dorms, climbing them quickly. Pausing half way up, she pricked her ears, listening carefully for the sounds of a violin being played. She smiled, catching the first few strains of music coming from inside the dormitories. Still smiling, she closed her eyes and leaned against the outside of the dorm, listening to the music as it wafted though the air. She was panting slightly from the run, the heat from her body competing with the cool morning air, all of it making her face continue to sting. Exhaling, she pushed herself off the wall, heading into the building itself and finally out of the cold.
The oversensitivity of her nerve endings was like fighting a constant battle with her own body. Granted, not every day was horrible, but some days were worse than others. She was determined to live a normal existence however, and more often than not a gentle touch from SunBae was enough to keep that determination going strong. Of course, being extra sensitive had its perks from time to time too. Mostly when she was within arm’s reach of Bae. Ione smiled, a blush coloring her cheeks that had nothing to do with the cold.
Following the music though the building she arrived outside of the room that they shared, placing an ear to the door to listen some more now that she wasn’t so blasted cold. She smiled again, a happy purr rumbling though her, and she opened the door quietly, stopping just inside to watch him play from where he sat on the bed.

SunBae had practically fallen completely into the music when he heard the purr outside. His senses were still up despite getting some of his sight back, which was helpful at times, and when she decided to step inside he grinned over at her, baring the tip of a fang. He didn't stop playing until the song was over, pulling the violin from his shoulder to set on the bed along with the bow.
He pushed himself to stand, stepping over to her with a smile only she'd been able to see. His attachment and trust in her was beyond his family, his small amount of friends, even his teachers that he respected so much. She'd quite literally opened his eyes to companionship and trust all together, so she was dear to him in many ways.
Carefully, he wrapped his arms around her, his tail brushing her thigh as he pressed a soft kiss to her forehead, still mindful of her oversensitivity, but he knew it probably better than most because of how much time he'd spent with her. "How's your morning going?" He asked in a hushed voice, milky eyes dropping down to look over her expression as best he could.

Ione smiled back at him, watching him finish the song from just in the doorway. Sound had been his world for quite a long time, and she always liked hearing him create his own sounds through the violin. Starting to purr again as he finished the song and began to pick his way over to her, she murmured quietly in greeting. “Hey you…” She purred, pulling off her gloves and walking forward to meet him, feeling his smile melt her heart. It was such an honest and open expression, reminding her of when they were still courting, of how a blind boy and a silent girl had fallen for each other.
Wrapping her arms around him in turn when he reached her, she entwined her own fluffier tail with his slender one, sighing happily as she felt the moist heat spread across her brow as he kissed her. Her own temperature had evened out some from the cold of the outside as she had traveled through the dorm to the room but as they stood there, encircled in each other’s arms, she became flushed with warmth, expelling the last remnants of the morning chill. “Better, now that I’m back inside.” She whispered back, leaning up to nuzzle his face. Her golden eyes looked into his milky ones and she beamed, smiling with even more warmth then she was feeling now. She caressed his back lightly with her glove-less hands, feeling the fabric of the shirt just as vividly as the warmth of the skin underneath. “Good morning…” She said; her voice still quiet and she leaned up to kiss him gently on the lips, relishing the many sensations that filled her brain from these simple touches.

He worried about her sometimes. he didn't know personally how the world felt to her now, but he wasn't sure what did and didn't hurt her. The simplest touch had hurt her just weeks ago, and now when he touched her he was almost afraid to. But he was sure she'd let him know what hurt and what didn't, at least in one way or another. That's why his heightened senses were useful still, despite his slight ability to see now.
Smiling at the nuzzle now, he nuzzled back at her, his ears perking and swiveling to listen to others that were in the dorm.
"We should try to find you a better area to jog," he could still feel the chill on her face, even if she felt warmer, "It's just going to get colder out." That and humans were everywhere. He didn't trust humans, hated them. Found them vile and tied to bad memories. If a human were to grab her again he didn't know what he'd do with himself. Tempo always said to never wound a human unless they attacked you first, because it could cause problems, but then again he'd never been one to listen to Tempo before.
Chuckling, he returned the kiss, brushing his fingers along the base of her tail affectionately, "Have classes today?" Usually Alice didn't start them up until later, so they had plenty of time to find food and for everyone to wake up.

Ione smiled a little wryly, but Bae did have a point; eventually it would become unbearable cold for her outside, and she’d have to wait until it got warmer to go out for any stretch longer than a few minutes. She certainly had to bundle up more than everyone else just to get from class to class. “I suppose I could just do laps in the dorm hallways or something.” She said, rubbing her face carefully against his chest, trying to flush out the last bits of chill from her cheek and the tip of her nose. “And anyone who can’t deal with the noise can just stuff it.” She said into his shirt, glancing up at him with a grin on her face.
“No, I just have group later on today.” She murmured, referring to the therapy sessions the University offered for those who had been effected by the Facility’s actions. Smiling slightly at his affections, she wrapped her arms more securely around him, being careful not to put too much pressure on him, though this was for her sake more than his. Even though they were both being gentle because of her, Ione was genuinely happy, and felt very safe and secure in his arms. Resting her head upon his chest, she closed her eyes, murmuring to him with an amused look on her face. “Hmmm… wake me up when it’s breakfast, okay? Think I’m going to take a nap, right here.” Thankfully, she rarely overheated just from physical contact alone. If the day was hot as well, she had to be careful, but the room was at a neutral temperature, and her own internal temp had peaked, certainly higher than most, but not at a level that was unbearable to her. At least her face had stopped stinging. “Was that anything specific you were playing just now?” She asked, her breathing becoming even and peaceful as she gently leaned against him.
