Reii flitted up to the edge of the river bank her tounge dry from an afternoon of care free flying she desired a drink most greatly.
Her thoughts were in one place her mind another but unfortunetly her body was in the here and now with danger luring arround every corner.
Carefully she arrows into the mud to wade into the cool water her hooves sinking slowly into the sticky muck. Not quite enough to trap her at this point but certainly enough to slow her down so she kept going untill she reached the waters edge.
Lowering her head she began to drink.

Large leathery wings carried Alti easily through the air. Muscles rippled underneath her coat as wings flapped over and over again. He eyes scanned the area for anything worthy, or perhaps unworthy, for her to deal with. Above anything she was hoping for a Kalona to speak with, to rally to the cause, her cause - it was the cause any Kalona should jump at the opportunity to be a part of. She had at least found a few that seemed ready to take up the call of destroying those beneath them, and that pleased her greatly. Below on the ground she spotted something black, a Soquili though from this distance she couldn't tell what species it was. Tipping her wings Alit glided down closer.
As her eyes settled upon the winged mare one word came to Alti's mind - abomination. This mare below her on the ground was another unworthy specimen. Time to rid the world of her inferior blood. Giving her mighty wings a large flap Alti put on a burst of speed as she soared down to the ground. As her hooves hit the ground she was already on the move galloping towards the black mare. "I shall cleanse the lands of your lesser presence!" Alti shouted in anger, and as she came close to the mare her hooves lashed out in unbridled fury. Die!

Reii barely had time to think and certainly not enough time to grasp what was happening before the attack was already upon her. She scrabled to avoid being struck Her hooves stuck in the soft mud hindering her esscape however she wasent fast enough one asult had landed a large gash opened on her shoulder. An inch or two further and it would have been her wing.
Reii winnyed with pain as she striggled to avoid being struck again.
Fight or flight
She was flight.
And here came Fight
Thesh-ah had been grazing not far off in a small clearing in the woods. She heard the beating of leathery wings upon the air knowing well what wings of those nature bore. The cry of agony set red hot warriors blood to pumped through her veins like venom.
Heedless instinct drove her generations of warrior steeds before her called out urging her guiding her. Thought was gone duty was everything.
Bursting from the underbrush her eyes blazed beneath her kolona skull mask.
In seconds she was somehow in the midst of the struggled. the attacker landed an attack ment for Reii against the thesh-ah side. With a grimmice she took and ussed her weight to knock Reii out of the way before launching an attack of her own with the horns of the skull mask.
"back you ILLK I've slain your kind before I will not hesitate to do so again." she shouted without so much as being winded.

This pathetic wind mare wouldn't stand a chance. She could be crushed in only a few moments and then Alti would be on her way to find more unworthy blood to spill. But then another interfered. A mare clad in a skeleton came between her hooves and their target. Well it wasn't the blood she had originally intended to spill but it would certainly do. Any chance to kill off the inferior races was more than welcome. There was a great satisfaction as her hooves pounded into the bone clad mare.
Alti let out a ferocious laugh at the mares words. So pathetic. Thinking that she could be defeated. She moved quickly to avoid the horns, and did so just in time. Wings held out in anger Alti shook her head. "It's not nice to interrupt one fun." Her raspy voice told the mare. "But I shall enjoy ending your life all the same." One less wretched beast for this world. Hooves came up, launched towards the mares side while at the same time her head came down in an attempt to stab her long curved horns into her neck.

Reii took to wing and to the air like a bird avoiding a cats eager claws. Thesh-ah came in between her and her attacker just in time. She landed on the tip top of a near by pine tree to watch in case she had to go get help. Blood rushed down her leg but she paid it no heed it wasn't mortal she was safe now . . . Thesh-ah however . . . Seemed evenly matched . . .if not out matched.
the impact of the hooves against her side caused Thesh-ah to not only flinch but nearly stumble backward as well. This was not this demon steeds first battle she knew exactly where to strike. Thesh may have bitten off more than she could chew but there wasn't much time for thinking about that now.
She narrowly avoided being stabbed in her vitals by her attackers Horns by parrying the blow with her own. For a moment their horns locked in a stand still their eyes met for a moment Before Thesh ah shoved with all her might intending to at least knock the mare back ward and off balance if not to push her entirely a** over tea kettle.
