Today was a wondrous day, Terrance could feel the gentle breeze blowing on his neck. As he walked with each hoof crossing in front of the other. Even though he was greatly enjoying the breeze, he decided he needed a place to rest for a bit. Since the rays of sun shining down upon the earthy ground and his fur, were getting a bit to hot for his taste. So he quickly began to look around for the perfect spot to get out of the sun. He looked and looked some more and even double looked. Until a few moments of walking and looking around he finally found it. A large full shaded tree with a nice patch of grass underneath it. "Today must be my lucky day," he said with a smile as he began to walk towards the spot.

Yawning softly while she laid down under the shaded tree, Cloee could feel the breeze in her hair. Smiling, she rose to her feet. Shaking off any grass that was stuck to her fur. Her striped orange markings shimmered in the light that crept through the leaves. It was a massive tree, but she felt one with nature. "Hm?" Speaking to herself as she noticed a far away figure coming close towards her.

Terrance had his mind in the clouds as he trotted closer and closer to the spot. He imagined what it would feel like to rest his legs and take a break from all this walking. Maybe he could even find time to write a new story, while he sat there under the shade. The possibilities were endless that much he knew. Though while he was dreaming his body was being to become restless, and rest was what he needed for sure.
So he lifted his head to look at where he was headed. It was within a few yards from him, though this time there was something or someone there. There was this beautiful orange glow coming from the spot, that seemed to shine like the sun. It fascinated him for a few moments, until he just kept walking. "Ello' there," he said not to loud so if it was a person he wouldn't frighten them.

Cloee's ears perked forward at the sound of a voice. She noticed the figure was a naturally colored stallion. He had a scarf and something him his mane. This had caught her attention, but she was uncertain about him. "H-hello there..." She spoke shyly as she looked down at the ground with a soft gaze.

As soon as Terrance heard her voice he gave a slight smirk. It was the voice of a mare and their voice sounded rather nice but shy to his ears. He had never met a mare before, so he wasn't quite sure how to approach her. So instead he did the first thing to come to his mind. He started to walk towards her slowly. He made sure to use a gentle voice as he spoke to her, "Hi ... I'm Terrance, It's nice to meet you love." He said taking a bow with his front hooves in her direction.

Ear's staying flat against her head as she watched him closely. "My name is Cloee..." She spoke in a soft tone as she looked up at him. Her tail was wrapped around her hind legs as she stood there. "What brings you around here?" Asking curiously as she looked around to see if there were other soquili besides them.

As Terrance watched her he saw her tail wrap around her hind legs. Was he that frightening, he wondered to himself. Standing from his bow he replied, "Cloee what a beautiful name, and I'm terribly sorry if I frightened you." Inside he hoped that apology would help at least a little to calm her nerves. since he didn't want to frighten away the first mare he had ever met. That would be such a terrible thing to do!
So he decided he would try his best to be as non-frightening as possible. "Well ... to be honest I was just looking for a place to enjoy this day at. What is a stunning mare like yourself doing around?" he said with a slight smile as he watched her. What she was doing slightly confused him for a moment. For she appeared to be looking around, but he wasn't to sure why. After all he was always alone so no one else would coming. Then again the mare probably didn't know that, he realized quickly. "Oh and no one else is with me... so I promise no one will come out and just surprise you..." he said shyly towards her as non-scary as possible.

Cloee smiled softly as her tail unwrapped itself from her hind legs. "Thank you, Terrance... It's very much alright. I'm just uneasy around the opposite gender is all." Speaking in a voice like silk as she made herself feel a bit more at ease around the stallion of natural colors.
"Tis a lovely day, do you agree?" Asking as she looked up at the sky then back at him with her clear blue eyes. Her tail swished lightly as the breeze made her mane sway. "Just you and I then? It makes it easier on myself without so many to make me feel uneasy." Explaining as she moved closer to him so he could see her markings better. "Just enjoying an mid-day sunbath near this tree." She told him as she watched him.

Terrance smiled towards her sweetly as he could, "A beautiful strong maiden as yourself uneasy around males? I find that hard to believe since with your beauty alone I'm sure you could stun any fellow alive." As he finished his words he looked towards her with kindness, since he meant every word he had spoken. She was simply breath taking and nothing on earth could take that from her and he was sure any other good fellow would agree with him.
"I do agree it is lovely, with a day like this stories are born," he said with his British accent heavily showing through. He had to be sure to keep his attention focused on the beautiful maiden and not allow himself to be captured by his day dreams. "Yes I believe so, which in turn would make me such a lucky fellow," he said with a laugh trying his best to lighten the mood before him. As she moved closer he took in turn a tiny hoof step towards her and smiled his most dashing and kindest smile ever. "Oh I see well having a sunbath sounds wonderful! Though I can't say I have ever tried it before, it sounds very relaxing and calming to ones nerves," he spoke sweetly as he tried to imagine what bathing in the sun would be like.
