 Aisling looked around at her surrounds and let out a small groan of despair wondering just how she had got out here to this meadow. It was sort of calming in the sense the yellow flowers that eventually lead to rocks and then a down slope that led to the ocean reminded her of her home land of Ireland. However any comfort it could have given her was quickly diminished by the fact she was probably horribly and utterly lost. This was queue for a head banging the ground. She could have sworn only minutes ago she was in a red wood forest.
Looking around sure enough she was faced with the fact there seemed to be no . Perhaps some weird fairy had caught her off guard and transported her here. Then again fairies probably didnt exist and this was a sure fire clue she needed more rest, relaxation or she was just plain loosing it. Ah there, that was probably the case.

 Airashi had traveled for as long as he could remember, all across different plains. He remember crossing into the tribal lands, boy had that been a mistake, he shook his head. Never again. Never again.
But now he was wandering through a meadow overlooking the ocean. It was beautiful land, but he found that he couldn't quite enjoy it. Sighing heavily he turned and placed his paws on a large boulder and looked over the side of the cliff. He hated to admit it, but he missed his family. Even his annoying brother Hazumi.

Aisling suddenly tensed up and looked around. Apparently she wasnt the only one in the meadow. Was the other fox or animal dangerous. Would they attack her? oh she hoped not Aisling could fight, no doubt about it, after all she probably had the worse luck on the planet. She should hide right? At least until she could disern the other animals motive, but then how would she do that after all the area around her was dark rocks, yellow and green. She was bright light grey and white. The worst colors ever for blending in. Oh why oh why did she have to space out.

The wind picked up slightly and the smell of a vixen reached his nostrils. Looking back he noticed the bright grey coat from a distance. He didn't know how he missed it beforehand. The vixen hadn't come over and said hello, so he assumed that she was either hostile or anti-social. Better to leave her alone.
He didn't want to start any trouble. Then he noticed that she was shuffling nervously. "What in the...." He cocked his head to the side. That certainly was an odd maneuver that she was doing. Still, it could be dangerous approaching her without warning.
It always paid off to be safe, rather then sorry.
"Hello." He called out, loud enough for her to hear, but not so loud that it was a shout.

Oh dear Aisling had been spotted. Well she could now say it was a male modifox, and he hadnt growled or rushed at her in some fool hardy charge to attack her. Of course some times that didnt mean anything. However there was no sense in trying to sneak off and hide. She should just hope for the best and deal with the situation at hand. She copied his tilting of the head before staring straight back. Showing fear was a definite no no. "mmm Hello there yourself." she called back stepping slightly forward just so it was a bit easier to talk.

An answer back. That was always a good sign. He let out the breath he had been holding. He wasn't in the mood for a fight today. Maybe he could skate by with a quick conversation and be on his merry way. Not that he was particularly happy, it was just an old expression his mother used. He felt a quick stab at his heart. Maybe he shouldn't have left home under such bad terms with his mother. But now was not the time to dwell on that.
"Nice....." He looked up, "Weather today...." He stated, at a loss of anything else to comment on.

Aisling couldn't help it at the poor attempt for conversation and burst out laughing. Ah there was finally some one poorer at it than her. Then there was the fact the weather had been pretty bad on her journey. In fact she had just recently been able to get to a patch of sunny weather. "mmm yes it is rather..." Aisling trailed off as a cold gust of wind came by and chilled the area. She nibbled on her lip a bit, oh why did her luck have to be this horrendous. She finally got to nice warm weather and the wind picked up."nice weather" she finished. "what has you traveling around these parts?" she asked since it was her turn to carry on the conversation.

He scrunched up his face. What the hell was she laughing about? Was she laughing at him? He made a face that could be called to closely resemble pouting, but he would deny ever being a culprit.
"I'm traveling.....to no where in particular...." He looked around. She was still a distance away, but he made no move to get closer. He didn't want to invade her space. She seemed like a skittish vixen, and as much as he wanted this conversation to be over so he could leave, he would never want to intentionally scare the poor girl

"Oh no need to pull that face. I wasnt laughing at you persay. It was mostly over my own problems when it came to conversation." Aisling pointed out smiling. It just wont do to ruin someone else's day. They could at least do something productive for the world. Ah well maybe not this one. "lost on the pathway of life or something...." Aisling trailed off and frowned. There was a small little sound she was catching out of the corner of her ear and it was bothering her. It was quite familiar and definitely something that needed attention"

He looked at the vixen, then shifted his gaze. "What face...." He said defensively. "Lost....I'm not lost...I just don't know where i want to end up.....yet. What are you doing here?" He shrugged his shoulders nonchalantly. This was the most talking he had done in over a week, which was really sad once he thought about it.
Maybe he was the antisocial one.

"mmm that I am afraid is one of the definitions of lost" Aisling pointed out and then bit her lip. Perhaps he would find that offensive and leave. She hadnt meant to say it but things like that just tended to pop out. "I guess just checking out what this place has to offer. I have time to kill before I can return back home. If its still there" Aisling sighed. 'oh great just bore him with tales of melancholy.' the first fox you've seen in a month and you've probably driven him away.

He looked at her surprised, "You remind me of Hazumi..." He said more to himself then anyone else. That was precisely something that his brother would have told him
"Hm...." He preferred not to follow that train of thought to fruition. "What do you mean?" Airashi looked at her baffled, "Is your home under some sort of siege?"

Aisling blinked and tilted her head to the side. She wondered who was this hazumi fox she was being compared to. Ah well the comment seemed more like it was for her short talking companion's benifit. "well yes in a matter of speaking. Its really hard for a fox to get to, and the humans like blowing it up because of some petty territoral problem, but further down its a nice place" Aisling pointed out or at least she heard it was. She hadnt really been able to venture down there to check.

He walked further into the meadow and stopped in front of her.

"mmm yes, modifoxes in my land have been trying for ages but for the most part we just get hunted down. With those big pointy sticks and the other sticks that shoot out fire and stuff (obviously they wouldnt know spears and guns where XD). So no matter how many we might kill they find us dangerous and start exterminating us." she said with a sad tone. She looked up from her gazing at the ground to notice he had moved a bit closer.
