Aludra enjoyed bringing his daughter places, despite his recent agoraphobia. Even if strangers and the outside world weren't his friends, that didn't give him any reason to turn his poor little girl into a sheltered and spoiled child (at least not more of one than she already was). As such, he'd picked a safe that he decided would be fairly safe - a bookstore. They had claimed that today they would have a storytelling in the children's section, in the hopes of selling some books that had been newly published by some unheard of authors.
Demetre was asleep by the time they reached the store, as she seemed to be all the time. That was easily solved, however, as Aludra lifted his little princess up off of his shoulder and gave her a soft kiss on the lips. Sleeping beauty roused herself almost immediately, ice blue eyes blinking open as she yawned widely, wiggling a bit. Aludra smiled at her and added a kiss to her forehead as he took a seat on the carpeted floor of the children's section, putting Demetre in his lap.
