It had been several weeks since Kasumi had seen her favorite (well, one of her favorites!) ghoul in school, Miss Junko. Kasumi had been busy preparing her gift to her friend in exchange for all the effort the futakuchi-onna had put into the kimono that was being custom made for her. Fumbling around the monster dorm, Kasumi had to stop and ask for directions to the 'one with the talking back-of-the-head' to random monster passersby. They all knew who she was talking about when that description was used, and several finger-points later, the ghost was finally in the correct hall to deliver her gift. It was a small necklace made with a red ruby and gold accents - something Kasumi thought would match Junko's eyes. She also brought a secondary gift to Mistress - an older hair ornament Kasumi managed to rig together with miscellaneous jewels she found in the Lost and Found Bin. Now both of them could enjoy something from her.
Rounding the corner to find Miss Junko's room, excitement boiled up in the ghost's ethereal stomach. Would Miss Junko like the gift? Would Mistress? Would it really go well with her lovely wardrobe? What happens if Miss Junko didn't like the gift after all? Kasumi paced in front of the monster's door, looking quite thoroughly concerned. No, I have to ask! If she says she doesn't like it, well, I'll make a new one, then! That's not so bad, is it?
In her excitement, Kasumi practically barged into Junko's room. In reality, she simply phased half through the door before she blurted out, "Oh! My apologies, Miss Junko. I should have knocked!"

All her projects were done! Sin's kimono, Lilura's kimono and Kasumi's kimono. The other two were already given to their owners, but for some reason Junko still has Kasumi's. She'd need to get it to her soon, she couldn't keep hold of it! But she was so busy lately! Today she was working on her own project, a new kimono for herself. She didn't know how to make the rest of it yet so she was starting with just the obi for now...something a little different from her usual style. It wasn't something she'd incorporate in everything but she did want at least one in this new style. She hoped it would work.
She didn't notice Kasumi enter in unannounced, it was her foxes who noticed. Kuro and Sayuri had been laying curled up beside their mommy on the floor, but when they spotted something move into the room their ears perked and their heads lifted sharply. What? What was this? Huh? What? Oh! It was ghosty lady! Yaaaay ghosty lady! Junko jumped and accidentally pricked her finger with her needle when Kasumi suddenly exclaimed and announced her presence, wincing minimally and sticking the end of her thumb against her lips. "Kasumi!" She cried out happily, putting the needle aside in her pin cushion and setting the unfinished obi on her bed. The ghoul then stood and hurried over to her friend with her arms outstretched and wanting to hug her.
"Apologize? No, no! Don't be sorry! You're more than welcome in my room! Hello!" Junko chirped, hugging her friend if she was able to without simply falling through her. Eeeeeeee Kasumi!

She felt terrible, just phasing through someone's door without their permission... it happened fairly regularly within the ghost dorms, but it was unheard of anywhere else. Frowning, Kasumi phased herself through the door entirely and gave Miss Junko a warm hug. When they were finished, the ghost gave her dear friend a polite bow in apology. "Still, it was not like me to be so rude, and I will knock next time. I was just so excited to see you again, Miss Junko. Things have been very busy, but I did manage to make you something I think you will enjoy."
Kasumi kept the gift in a small pouch she'd managed to trade within the ghost dorms. Many ghosts were hoarders of some kind, so it was east to find someone with something she wanted. The trade market within the dorm was as vast as it was varied. If you needed or wanted something, it was likely someone down the hall had what you were looking for. Handing the pouch to Miss Junko, secretly hoping very much that she'd like it.
She'd kept her gift to Mistress hidden in the pockets of the simple white dress she wore.

Junko chuckled and shook her head at Kasumi's worries, returning the hug with a happy little noise. Kasumiiii! She missed Kasumi! It'd been too long since she could just hang out with her! She released her friend so she could bow, smiling and shaking her head. "You're always welcome, Kasumi. Knocking or not." She told her honestly, looking down at the pouch being offered to her. Oooh? What was this? Junko's eyes widened as she sat down on a nearby pillow unoccupied by Sayuri or Kuro. The two foxes continued to prance around the room, pouncing each other and rolling all over the place. Junko paid them no mind as long as they weren't getting hurt.
"I wonder what it is~." She chirped as she opened the pouch and carefully tipped it over to slip whatever was inside it into the palm of her hand. Oooh? What was--oh wow! A necklace! Junko's eyes widened and her jaw dropped as she put the small pouch on her lap and carefully held up the necklace, admiring the pretty red stone. "It's so beautiful, Kasumi! Thank you! I've never owned jewelry before." Junko immediately set to putting the necklace on, a huge smile on her face. It was so lovely! She quickly got up off the pillow she was sitting on and hurried across the room to her mirror, admiring the necklace on her now.
"Oh, Kasumi! Thank you so much! I'll wear it every day." She told her with a giggle, gasping a bit and seeming to remember something. "Oh! I also finished your outfit!" She could finally give it to Kasumi! This was awesome.

Kasumi was relieved that her gift went over so well. She knew red looked very good on Miss Junko and brought out the green in her eyes. Her wardrobe also consisted of red accents, so the ghost thought it would blend in well with the rest of the girl's closet. Smiling, Kasumi found a nice spot on Miss Junko's bed to sit and admire her handiwork. Never before had she been so proud of something she'd made, and it made her delightfully happy to see Miss Junko seemed the like it. Clapping her hands in happiness, Kasumi nearly forgot all about the present she'd brought just for Mistress! She got up quickly and started to rummage through her pockets, muttering apologetically for forgetting something this important. Pulling out the ornament, Kasumi bowed to the collective duo.
"And not to worry, Mistress! I didn't forget you either, so I brought you this. I hope it is to your liking." She didn't know if Mistress would like it or not. Back when they met the first time, Junko explained (well, Mistress more or less explained) that She could see through Junko's eyes. If the gift wasn't well-received, then... perhaps she could make another hair ornament? Or a brush, perhaps? The item, much more like a comb than anything else, was very Asian in its fundamental design. This, Kasumi figured, would be well received by one with such discerning tastes as Mistress. She hoped her assumption was correct and help her breath, waiting for an answer.
If anything, she told herself, Junko could keep the item and Kasumi could go back to the drawing board. Or perhaps she could try and acquire a lovely antique fan? That would look stunning as an everyday accessory... "I simply couldn't leave you out, Mistress. I think this will be both practical and lovely for you." Tapping her fingers together, Kasumi regarding the duo with a pleading look in her eyes. "I was... ah... also hoping the two of you could possibly explain a little bit about our culture? That is, the culture that we are both familiar with. I'm afraid my condition doesn't allow me to remember much of what it was like to be of an Eastern descent, if you understand what I mean."

"What? Something for me as well?" She asked with genuine surprise, a section of hair pressing against Her lips similar in the way that Junko would do with her fingers. No one had ever willingly went out of their way to get Her something, especially not Junko, so for someone to say they brought Her something...well...she would never admit that she was a tad touched. "Well! Give it here." She demanded as she held out another section of hair to take whatever it was Kasumi was offering. Junko blinked and looked to see what it was, giving a little gasp and admiring the ornament She was taking.
"How lovely!" Junko chirped, smiling still. The Mistress hummed thoughtfully, trying to think of something, anything, negative to say about it. Her hesitation made Junko's smile fade into a light smirk, glancing back toward Her. "What's the matter? Can't think of anything mean to say about it?"
She growled a little. "Shut up, you." She huffed, working the ornament into Junko's hair Herself instead of having Junko do it. Junko giggled and sat down on the bed again, neatly folding her hands on her lap. "Thank you." She mumbled, causing Junko to laugh.
"Yes! Thank you very much, Kasumi! Huh? Wh..why are you looking at me like that?" Junko scoot back a little out of worry, blinking a bit. What did Kasumi want? Junko had just told her she finished her kimono! She didn't need to wait for it or beg for it! Oh...oh! Okay...damn...uh...okay. "I'll do my best! But to be honest, all I know is what I've been taught. My grandmother used to be a human there though! Um, anything specific you'd like to know, Kasumi?" Maybe if they had a starting point then Junko could help in whatever way she could manage! Suddenly she gasped and stood up. "Right! Your kimono!" Junko opened her wardrobe and dug through it, fishing out the things she had made for her friend. There was a pair of long black stockings similar to hers only not ripped yet in case Kasumi didn't want them torn, a blue ruffled skirt just like hers, and a blue kimono lined with black and different shades of blue designs. There was also an obi to match which she hung from her arm, carrying all of these to the bed where Kasumi was sitting.
"Ta da! What do you think? Do you like it? If there's anything you want changed I can do that. I left the stockings long and normal in case you wanted me to do something with them, and I even got an underlayer for the kimono if you'd like one, and if there's absolutely anything you want changed or added I will do that right away!" Junko explained excitedly, watching Kasumi for her reaction. Would she like it? She hoped she would!
