Boris was stood in the shade of the trees pacing backwards and forwards, his cat-like tail swayed and flicked irritably behind him. His ears couldn't stay still or make up their mind if they wanted to be latched to the back of his head or up in alert. His eyes were narrowed like he had just been slapped across the face. Which... He kind of had. The girl he thought he loved more than anything, had latched on to because there felt like their was no one else left that he meant anything to. This had all been triggered by his and Madoka's argument and lead to him watching Dice been stolen away from him all over again. She picked Blood and he realized that he was always going to be more like her big brother, which strangely had accepted rather than got even more jealous of Blood. He gave her away and now he was here...
Worrying what to do. What if he realized the same about Madoka? She didn't want him... He didn't know where their last argument would take them if he went back, or if they got together would she ever change her mind? Even though, she did care for him... Didn't she? He plonked his rear down on the floor, watching as a leaf strolled by in he breeze. His hoof battered it to the ground, watching as half of it crushed, hearing the clank of his chain that attached to the collar around his neck. Even his piercings chimed a sound that he swore was as frustrated as he was.
He yowled lowly at himself... How pathetic. Maybe the old mad hatter wasn't so mad... Maybe he was right about him. He shut his eyes, slowly slipping his hoof from the leaf, its crumbled remains floating off with the breeze once more.

 As she looked towards the sky she took a moment to take in the air, before taking her first few steps in the eastern direction. Today seemed like it would have some nice weather, but Topper couldn't believe how boring today was. Nothing seemed to be happening around her. Couldn't just one day be different then all the rest, she thought to herself. Every day was the same routine for her, she just kept walking and sleeping and walking some more. A routine like that after awhile could bore a person to death. Couldn't she at least run into someone to talk too. Maybe then she would be able to at least have something to pass the time. Just to try and make this ever long day go a by a little quicker. That was when she heard it, a noise that sounded like a clack of a chain. As soon as she heard it she walked in the direction of the noise. Maybe this was her chance at a non-boring day, and if it was she had to take it! So as she walked towards the noise she noticed it had come from this area of shaded trees. Topper stopped only for a second debating on if she should go further. "Well its worth a shot, I mean I have nothing better to do," she whispered to herself as she walked towards the area. Wondering what she just might find around the bend of trees.

Boris was wrapped in a blanket of confusion and sorrow, so much that he had fallen a stray from reality and entered just a world of black, all sound was lost a blur, he wasn't even thinking any more it had become too much for the kitty to bare, too much stress that had blinded a way to the solution to a problem he really needed to sort before he took a path. Either way, each path lead to one eternity. The chain, he would be forever chained lonely back in heartland. He would never win this game and he would never be free.
Maybe that was his fate. That was what both those paths would lead to, f he even knew what those paths were and where they began and ended but he was no prophet or fortune teller, he couldn't just slide a crystal ball over and demand it to tell him what to do. No magic eight ball. He gave a sigh at last, jumping as the world came back to him, ears catching the sound of hoofbeats caressing the terrain as they wandered towards him. His eyes remained pinned on a tree that was in the way of this curious sound. Eyes widening, ears deciding they now wanted to remain upright to see who they belonged to.
His heart raced. 'Dice?' He thought quickly. 'Madoka!?' He was gritting his teeth together wishing the foot steps would hurry. His heart could of burst from his chest, he felt like leaping to his feet and running around himself... That's when the figure appeared. Apart of him was disappointed and a part of him was relieved because it could of been the hatter or Elliot and even then, he wouldn't know what to say to any of them.
He looked at the mare blankly, her hair ruffled in to her face, markings like the forest itself. He blinked, staring down at where the leaf had been crumpled and had washed away then flicked his gaze back to her like a light bulb had gone off above his head. Had that acted like a silent prayer and brought this stranger to him?
He was too in wonder that he forgot to say anything and now he was just staring at her.

Her mind was clear as the sky as she walked slowly into the area. Her heart felt light, as she quietly but quickly moved towards the noise. She was so bored today that this noise had gotten her hopes up a little. Maybe this would be the thing to spice up her day a little bit she thought as she closed in on the area.
As Topper finally entered the area she was surprised when the noise she had heard turned out to be from a male. She stared at him in awe for a few moments once she took a small step towards him. Little did she even know he was staring at her too. All she could see for a moment was the things that covered his body. This male was covered in what looked to be fluff and chains. To her this was amazing, even though she wasn't that big a fan of males she couldn't help but admire his unique pieces of clothing and accessories he wore. It took her a moment to get shake herself from her stare but once she did she said the first words that came to her mind. "Well hello there." she said with her best half smile towards the male.
As she stood there she didn't even think she could be intruding on him. Since sadly that thought never even crossed her mind. The one thing that did though was when she slowly ended her smile and looked into his eyes. "His eyes seem to look like something is wrong they are so blank," she thought quietly to herself as she looked over him once more, "...I know he's a male but still..." She stood there arguing with herself quietly before quickly piping up. "Is something a matter?" she said as she cocked her head a little bit to the right.
