(( Silvain - Manda
Tiis & Kifatamu - Sephiros Immortalis ))
Running was fun, it made him feel free and alive and wonderf-- OOF. And sometimes, it hurt. Like when he tripped over his own paws - which were still far too large for the rest of his body. But Silvain didn't get mad about that... he seldom got mad about anything really. He just laid on the ground for a moment or two, dazed... then got back up and started running again. He wasn't going anywhere in particular... and he meant to be home by dinner. But... he'd woken up this morning and just, felt like running. And exploring! Those two things were always fun. Slowing down just a little as he ran up a hill, the rather clumsy little juvenile didn't even see the semi-cliff until he was tumbling over it. He made startled little yelping/squeaking noises as he fell - bouncing up and down. When he finally rolled to a halt at the bottom, he blinked as the world kept spinning ... not really hurt, but certainly shaken and dizzy now. Whooooaaa what a rush.
The thing was, he was making a terrible amount of racket. Tiis, a pink little lass, had been exploring, supposedly innocently traipsing about, but that wasn't the opinion of the mice and other small creatures who now lay twitching away their last moments in the wake of her needle-sharp claws. However, there were signs of something much bigger in her newly-claimed territory...and it set her ears to swiveling. Oh-ho-ho...now who was this? Paddering across the devastation that Silvain had wreaked in the dirt, she peered down at him. "What are you doing here, little boy?" She purred cheerily, though obviously she was the smaller of the two.
Silvain blinked at that and forced himself up into a sitting position - though he wavered back and forth quite a bit. Tilting head at the spotted pink ... sort of wavery blob in front of him, he shook his head. Then squinted, and the shape focused into a little female. Oh! A new friend? "Me? Exploring! What're you doing?" he asked cheerfully - never suspecting she might be other than friendly.
However, she put a dainty paw on his head, and extended claws right above the other's eyes. "Hunting for toys..." She responded brightly, "And you look like fun." And since he was a big toy, she could just haul him back and play with him for hours...and if she was really lucky, 'Shen would come back in time to help. Perhaps they could keep this one, he looked like he could handle more than just a single go-round.
Silvain's eyes widened at that, not daring to move with her claws so close to his eyes. He didn't ... understand. "W-what do you mean, toys?" He tried to back up, then, carefully. Maaaaybe she wasn't so nice.
Her eyes narrowed, "Things for me to play with..." Tiis gestured at the direction from which she'd come, "And we're going to go that way, or else I'll have to start playtime right here..." And she touched a claw to his nose, pricking it a bit...not hard enough to draw blood, but hey, noses were sensitive.
Silvain jerked his head backwards at that, then he backed up a few hasty steps - thinking to get away from her and -run-. But... he'd forgotten about the cliff he just fell down. And after no more than a few steps, he ran into said cliff and sat down hard when his rump hit it. Oooh this was not good. "MOOOM!!!!" he yelled, though he knew that she was too far away. He'd been running for a while...
Ooooh. He'd tried to run. Goody. Sprinting along behind him, she then pounced, sinking her claws into his tail. "That's the wrong waaaaaaaaaay~" She sing-songed, going further now and sitting on the tuft, rooting the larger cub to the ground. No way was she going to lose this doof.
Silvain squalled at that, yanking at his own tail as he tried to get away from her. He just ... wanted to go -home-! But this wasn't working at all. After a moment, he stopped pulling and turned around to bat at her face instead. He was too used to the gently play-fighting, though... and so, there were no claws involved in that slap.
At that, she remembered well her lessons, and reached up and sank her needle-sharp claws into his ear, in quite a calculating fashion, only mildly peeved by that slap. Stupid boy, he needed to learn how to fight if he didn't want to be a toy...but it was too late for that now wasn't it? Now firmly attached to the male's ear, she scowled. "You're being very naughty! This way!" And she proceeded to steer him in the right direction.
"Hey! Ow! Ow ow OW!" Silvain protested that, stumbling along after her as she dragged him. He was -bigger- than her, how come she could just take him away like this? It wasn't FAIR!! "Let me go! What'd I ever do to you! I wanna go hoooooooome!"
It was about then that Kifa stumbled upon the affairs, and her eerie dark eyes narrowed. Ah goodness, what was the strange little pink one doing now? Hmmmmm? Wrinkling her nose, she sauntered down. "Whatchu have there...?" The lithe juvenile inquired, staring fixedly at Silvain. That...that was most strange, that she couldn't sense from him what she effortlessly gleaned from others.
Tiis chuckled softly, around her earful of malecub, and then released him, though she kept an eye upon her captive, lest he try to run from her again. "This is my new toy." She replied cheerfully, seeming far too happy with the situation.
"So..." Kifa drawled, "What's your name, toy?"
Silvain sniffled when the other let him go, and reached a paw up to rub at his ear. "That HURT!" he protested, ignoring the newcomer for a moment. "You're not nice!" He thought about trying to run away again, but that hadn't worked so well that last time. Turning biiiig eyes on the new female, he entreated, "I just wanna go home... please...."
"That's not your name." She responded, reaching over and thwapped him on the nose. "Now...who are you? And why can't I see your end?" She mused, starting to circle him.
Tiis, realizing quickly what she was talking about, just sat down to watch, blue eyes fixated on the twosome. Obviously Kifa liked her toy, and if Kifa did...she might consider filching it, which Tiis wasn't going to allow without adequate compensation.
"Ow!" Silvain exclaimed, plopping back onto his rear in shock. He sniffled a bit more and blinked at the new one. What did she mean, his end...? "I ... I'm Silvain... and I don't know?" he offered tentatively.
"Siiiiiiiiiilvain..." She purred softly, "Interesting." Slowly, she turned her gaze to Tiis. "Can I keep him?" Yes, already she'd made that request, because he was an abnormality, standing apart from all the rest of the creatures she'd encountered. Thus, naturally...further study was required.
Tiis' eyes narrowed, "Well what do I get? I had him first." The smaller female rumbled, "After all...he would make very a very fun distraction...'Shen would like him..." For all of the hour or two it took to break him into tiny pieces.
Confused, Silvain looked from one female to the other. He didn't GET it... he wasn't some toy to be passed around! "I want to go home..." he whimpered, though he rather doubted either of them was listening to him.
"Well....you're going home with me..." She replied pertly, "And for you, my Tiisling..." The larger female cooed, "You can...to has..." Carefully she thought, her muzzle scrunching with intense thought. "Cactus needles. I has bunches...can get them tomorrow....I have seen many ends with those needles." She replied, knowing that would catch the pink cub's interest.
Tiis' grin widened to encompass her face, and she bobbled her head enthusiastically. Why yes indeed, "I think we have struck a bargain..." She purred, "You can have my toy, if I can have your toys."
"But that's not... my home..." Silvain protested weakly. He was still highly confused and upset. But even he knew better than to try to get away. Not with two of them... they'd catch him really fast. Then probably hurt him. Whyyy had this happened to him??
"Just come with me, sweetling, you'll get used to it..." Kifa replied, swatting a paw at his bottom to get him going, and Tiis lurked behind, all too willing to take up the rear and ensure that her friend's new plaything didn't go bolting for home and mommy. Now....all that remained was for Kifatamu to discover just why this new boy of hers was so vexating. All things, all things in good time.
