 Persephone took a deep breath and looked around at the temple she was currently sitting in. Horus had just dropped by with new information and she was adding it to her little storing place. She couldn’t write or read like the humans seem to be doing but she had an excellent memory and often used such things as stones or other weird things to document how much supplies the tribe had.
Looking at her little tallies, Persephone frowned seeing as they where low in terms of meat. She would have to tell either Hollow or Hitoru that they needed some more food. Water was no problem since after all Jaci and raz where always finding new sources and battling the evil crocodiles. She chuckled at the thought of last time. Speaking of battling evil river monsters, Persephone made a note to check the herb supply and see how Kaname was fairing with that. Well she could always check for him after all he was busy these days with chasing down his children. She laughed having dealt with ruddy problematic children, after all Prelude was always getting into trouble when he was younger.
This caused a sigh. Her son, even though he was adopted had already left to explore the world and had even said something about getting a mate. This was a bit depressing considering here she was with no one. Heck even her younger brother had some one. Oh she didn’t know who but there was obviously a girl he was very much enthralled by. Suddenly the temple shook and a whole bunch of sand dumped on top of her. “great just my luck” she muttered spitting out some. A bath in safe water was definitely in order.

 Amun had happened to be walking by when he noticed Persephone at a distance. He stopped for a moment to admire her. He couldn't help it... the way the sun hit her coat and made it glow was impressive even to him. He soon found himself blushing and glanced away. Every time he had tried to talk to the female Phim he found himself talking nothing but jibberish. He wished that for once he would talk to her with out making a fool of himself.
Picking up his pace again he decided that he would give it another shot. Of course just as he got there and was about to say something a waterfall of sand toppled on to her. Blinking in surprise he had to try to stop him self from letting out a giggle. Getting it under control he said the only thing that came to mind.
"Are you ok?"

Persephone looked up from her little catastrophe and saw that Amun seemed to be standing not to far from there. She went to go talk and found that once again her voice seemed to have left her. Oh why did the temple decide that it hated her know. She was always seemingly making herself look silly in front of the phim. Normally Persephone was very capable in what she did but she turned into a blushing kit when ever Amun was around. "mmm yeah I'm fine just a little dusty is all" she said trying not to turn all red. Oh how she hoped she was really succeeding.

He blushed a little as their eyes locked. He always found himself locked in her eyes at some point. When she spoke he blinked himself out of the trance her eyes had on him.
"Oh... thats good." He walked around her then looked up. "Do you know what caused it...?" He tilted his head to the side as if to see if there was any one standing there who could have done this too the beautiful stormy Phim.

Persephone quickly looked away her heart skipping a few beats. Ugh this was getting utterly ridiculous in her mind. She could talk to guys. She could after all she had raised prelude, she had two brothers and two fathers and her best friend was a guy. Well one of her best friends. However she saw the opportunity to try and get her thoughts under control as she looked back up to the structure that had decided to ruin her day. "well I dont see any one up there and I know Marius and Akori are taking a nap. My guess is so much sand piled up there was no longer any more room to hold it up and it toppled over. I guess I just have bad luck" she said with a weak smile.

Amun glanced back at her then looked back up at the structure. What she said made sense. He didn't see anyone up there and the structure was now slightly damaged due to the weight of the sand and it falling.
"Hm... That looks to be the case..." He looked back at her and walked over helping her out of the giant sand pile. He turned and started to dust her off with his tail. "Perhaps we should tell Horus of this... if the other structures are piling up with sand the same thing could happen to someone else... possibly even worse..."

"Its a good idea. I'll probably clear this one off in a second or two and then tell Kaname since he deals with temples as well. The build up is probably due to that sand storm we had a couple weeks back" Persephone pondered looking up at the sand still on the top. "I'd tell horus but I think he's gone for the day. Said something about Rynn needing him to meet some one at Fayum." Persephone stated stealing a quick glance back over at Amun.

Amen nodded.
"If you like I can help you with clearing it..." He walked around the pile on the ground as he looked at it. It was quite allot of sand. "This could really become a problem if its left alone..." He looked back up at her. "Telling Kaname at least would be a good idea." He agreed with her. "I could assist him with cleaning off the fixtures." He pushed some of the sand with his paw. "Um... then if you want... I could... escort you to the baths... if you like..."

"Well its a good thing we both agreed on telling Kaname, although if atum let him out he might have noticed himself." persephone bit her lip. "ah well its always a good thing to pass on just in case" she nodded. "ah why thank you. i would love the help. Doing chores like this is always a bit more fun when you are next to some one dont you think?" Persephone smiled before hopping up the pillars to lightly rest on the top of the temple. It was about then she started using her tail to sweep the sand off to the side. There was a faster way but it also sent the sand everywhere.

He smiled as he watched her. She was right. It was always fun to do things when you had someone to talk too wile you were doing it.
"Yes... its good to have some one with you wile doing things." He then began to sweep the sand that had fallen on to the ground away. Though it didn't really have any were to go a huge pile of sand in the middle of a walk way could cause trouble.

"so how are you fairing with tribe life and everything?" Persephone asked knowing it was a bit different for the winged modifoxes as they could talk to the modeities just as easily as the tribe elder was able to. Seeing as her tail was getting a bit sore she used her wings to create a hard push and sent the sand flying in the air and over the edge. She would have to clean up the sand when she got out there but as long as she got it on the left side she could sweep the excess on the ground into the nile.

Amen looked up as he finished sweeping the rest of the sad away from the walk way.
"Oh... well..." He thought about it for a moment. He did enjoy his time there but he would have liked to visit a forest area from time to time. "I do enjoy it here... its just..." She looked away as if he was ashamed to say it. "I just... it would be nice to go see a forest from time to time..."

Persephone blinked and then a rather large smile grew on her face. "ah well if you dont mind it being slightly tropical I can take you to such a forest. Its apparently where Hitoru and Horus first met, its sort of dangerous because of all the big cats that like to roam there but we should be safe since we can fly" Persephone pointed out. "and its pretty easy to get to. Its just south of tribe lands. You can get there in an hour and a half of flying. Obviously you'd have to visit when you are scouting down in that area but..." Peresephone stated her voice going faster and more excited in normal. She liked helping people find things after all. "and Horus says this place should be a lot more green a few months after flooding season.

He looked up at her rather surprised. He had no idea that there was a forest around in the area. He thought for sure that you would have to fly miles and miles just to get to anything with plat life. Then again when he first approached the Tribe he had come from a completely different way.
"I didn't know that there was a forest so close to here." He smiled. "If we could i would love to go there..." He finished sweeping away the sand. "I didn't know that it would become green here..." He looked around. "Theres so much sand that I would have never thought that green could grow here..."

"I know what you mean it just looks like soo much sand but When the tribe was bigger and humans where still around Kaname and Horus told me what it looked like. The nile deposits this black silt and it apparently with the right seeds and things helps support plant life. However it seems like it needs just a bit more flooding and depositing of the black sand to become as green as Horus remembered. "Well then after we tell Kaname and get all cleaned off I would be glad to take you there" she nodded.
