Riley knew Sammy had already moved in to her new dorm nearby. She also knew that Sammy was in the dorm at the moment, which made this all the better.

With a slow, quiet stroke, she wrote on the board she was leaving attached to Sammy's new door. The words said

Sammy's Room
If this dorm's a'rocking, don't come a'knocking.

This was a sufficient little stunt to get back at her friend for blurting out about the sign on Riley's panties that one day on the lawn.

Sadly for Riley as she started to finish dotting the I's and crossing the T's Sammy would decide it was a great time to celebrate the obtaining a dorm with a window. Turning the handle she pulled the door open only to find a Mindflayer with a large marker posed in a rather guilty pose infront of her-

what was this board on her door?

"Rockin, don't come a'knocking? Really? So I guess this means 'they undead ghoul who stole Braums room' is now the most happening place in all of Demon House?" Smirking she gestured the mindflayer in. "Is that my welcome to the house gift? Or are you just getting back for me pointing out how much you love riding dragons?"

Caught in the act.

Riley slowly put the marker down, and capped it. She remained stoic, as if she had been doing nothing wrong. Her voice, however, betrayed her thoroughly.

No, she growled out, flicking the marker at Sammy's head. This is for the panties comment. Though, if you want this to be the most happening dorm in here, I'm sure you can arrange it. We're surprisingly a quiet bunch. We could do with a little entertainment.

She entered the room, leaning down to pick up the marker from the floor with a swooping movement that didn't even stop her walking. She took a good look around, and a low pitched noise filtered through Sammy's mind - a whistle of sorts.

You're really changing this place. For the better, I'm certain.

With a bit of a squeak she stumbled back from the mindflayer and her vicious marker assault. "Well it's not my fault you have such... choice wording on your unmentinoables. Personally I found it kind of amusing." Walking back into the dorm she flopped onto her bed (moved by Tahki, bless her awesome monster strength) watching Riley enter. "Well I'm sure with your help, Shehk, and Siddie we can get it going if that's a suggestion that I start throwing raging parties."

She of course could only grin, the room was already lavished royal reds and gold. The latest touches being a hint of purple at Siddie's suggestion. That and quite a few boxes to be unpacked. "Well I'm working on it, I also see someone had an update to her wardrobe after Christmas, gift for yourself?" One eyebrow perked up curiously as she took in the new outfit.

It worked, it worked very well.

Her eyes narrowed as she watched Sammy walk away to sit on the bed. Ah, but it is your fault that you announced it to the world. If you hadn't noticed, no one saw it until you said something. My secret would have been safe if it were not for you, you mischievous deviant. Her voice was a teasing tone, amused even as she admonished her. It quickly died off at the topic change.

A party would be nice. They always are. Riley's eyes roamed the room carefully, taking stock of what she saw. I can't imagine anyone being opposed to the idea. Except perhaps Barth, if you wake him. Then again, nothing wakes him. She was just admiring the choice of purple accents to the otherwise very regal colored decor, when she turned back upon mention of her outfit.

Hardly. Consider it more.. a gift for the student body. Her eyes crinkled as a breath of laughter escaped her, and she took a few steps to stand just in front of Sammy, leaning in to poke her stomach with one long finger. Or maybe I was just jealous that you were always showing your abdomen, and wanted to as well.

"I just had to tell someone, and the student body nearby looked like they could use something to laugh at and talk about later. I'm a gossip what can I say? I start rumors about fighting with demons and spying on their unmentinoables I guess?" Her own voice rang with hints of teasing and laughter, Riley was a good sport when it came to her actions, and in turn Riley was actually rather okay for a demon; even more then okay really.

"Well I was thinking for the first one we keep it personal you know? Ghouls only even maybe. God forbid we let Nuk in for a sleepover, he would probably steal half the the pillows for him and Shehk." To this she let out a slight laugh, the idea of Nuk and Shehk piled in pillows while Nuk made his 'YOU NO TOUCH SHEHK' face was rather amusing.

She could only give a sudden squeak as Riley prodded her stomach causing her face to screw up ever so slightly as she scooted back on the bed a bit. "Oh now? A demon jealous of an undead? My my how the tables turned." Leaning forward again she returned the poke letting her finger linger on Riley's stomach before applying the push. "Well I sure don't mind it, it looks amazing, I'm sure Siddie would love to know where you got it. Seems right up her alley really."

You most certainly did not need to tell anyone, and no one needs a laugh at my expense. Only at others. She brushed off the subject, clearly not very upset about it. Talk of a party was much more interesting, anyway.

Whatever you wish. I'm not partial, either way. Although, will there be some obvious exceptions? I am reminded of Israfel, off the top of my head. She chuckled at the thought of her fellow hermaphroditic friend. It is your guest list, though. You should simply invite anyone you want around you.

Riley's stomach didn't seem very receptive to being pushed. It was lean, hard muscle, and pretty much stayed put despite the press of a finger into it. I don't know this Siddie of whom you speak. You'll have to introduce us. As for where I got my wardrobe, however.. she brushed a hand idly in the air. He or she would be very disappointed to know that I made it myself. I received some vital sewing information from Junko, and used that as well as some metalworking prowess our kind have learned throughout the ages.

"Next time I promise to keep my mouth shut and tease you about it privately on our own time, is that okay then?"

She put more thought into the party list for a moment, after releasing Riley's stomach from the poke (which she might add was very well built, she was jealous of this indeed.) she counted off the names, "You, Tahki, Shehk, Siddie. That makes five of us for sure, maybe Rain too if she wanted to come... heck Tahki might run and hide at the idea of a big party..."

"Oh you'll definitely meet Siddie, Shehk and I play in a band with her. As for that outfit I'm sure she wouldn't mind learning a trick or two to use to make something like that." She then continued to inspect the armor raising an eyebrow, "Does all your armor end up so revealing? While the midriff is rather sexy, some how I doubt it helps in a fight..." she said with a smirk.

That is acceptable. She murmured in closing to the panties conversation, before listening to the list of invites. Tahki should definitely come. If she seems wary about the idea, let me know. I will make sure she is present.

Riley looked around her for somewhere to sit, and finally plopped down on a chair. Her legs lifted up and draped over the armrest. I didn't make it for battle gear. Besides, the only time we've actually come up against anything in battle was Christmastown.. and I doubt I would have fared any better if I had been sufficiently armored. She shrugged. But that is irrelevant, though it does make me wonder if I should make a set of battle armor.. Schematics were fluttering through her mind even as she said it. Who knows when it could come in handy in the future?

"Some how that sounds like a threat to the poor Gryphon, I would prefer no harm come to her? Or any mindflayer trickery with that whole 'voice in the head' thing."

Once Riley spilled into a chair Sammy would spin about on her bed to lay watching the other ghoul shrugging slightly from her new position, head rested on hands proped by the elbow. (If Siddie had been around, some sort of joke about how girly sammy was being would probably be inserted.)

"Well, considering our last trip was classified a 'field trip' then the idea of leaving the school at anytime might require battle armor." She paused tapping her chin. "I mean it would be nice I guess to have some but wouldn't more armor make kicking someones face in a bit harder?"

Riley lifted her head, just barely, and her eyes crinkled at the edges in lieu of a smile. Sammy. You know me better than that. I love Tahki. I simply meant that if she felt shy about it, I was going to reassure her. I would never do a thing to hurt her. Her head rested back down on the other armrest, and her tentacles slid out from underneath to keep from getting squished, before falling lifelessly over the armrest themselves.

At the mention of armor, she shrugged her shoulders out, holding one long arm straight before curving it up. Not really. It's all in the joints. If you leave the joints free and unhindered, like my shoulder here - as she lifted her arm up, the underside was shown to be armorless - then movement can be fluid. It's just like a well oiled machine - as long as you don't have metal scraping on metal, everything moves freely. This goes for any joint in your body, especially the ball joints.

"Just making sure, Jack-knows just trying to reassure her might make her even more frightened to come..." She really hoped Tahki would, after all they had gotten along great in Christmas town, and when they met in the library before moving more of Sammy's own stuff.

"Well I never knew much about armor, but I'll keep those tips in mind next time I decide I want a breastplate of shining metal when I kick someones a**." She laughed softly before stretching out on the bed with a grin. "Ahh I can see me now, some nice armor with no one able to put a dent in it or me..." For a while she seemed to drift away nodding to herself as she thought up the many different kinds of armor she might wear.

She would be so bad-a**.

Riley tried to picture it, but somehow it was difficult. I never thought of you as the kind of girl who'd want armor. Although.. now that I think about it, a set of leather armor would look very nice on your frame. It's much lighter, form fitting, and maneuverability is at maximum capacity. Since you brought that up, that would work out nicely for you.

She took in Sammy's form, imagining it - that made much more sense. It's the kind of armor our hunters and scouts wear, to protect them from the elements as well as beasts. It wouldn't save you from a lance to the heart, but.. she chuckled softly. I highly doubt you have to worry about that.

With a smirk Sammy would pull herself from the bed slowly walking over towards Riley, "Form fitting leather huh? Does sound kinda nice. armor probably would be too heavy if it was made out of metal." Once over to the chair she climbed up so she sat straddling Riley on the arm of it arms crossed looking down at the other ghoul with a grin. "Nah, being dead does have a few nice perks, not to many pesky 'vital organs' for us."

Leaning in she poked at Riley's stomach again, "That however, raises the question of why this little outfit leaves so much exposed, not the best armor now is it?"

What was with Sammy and poking Riley's stomach? She reconsidered whether the open area was such a good idea, after all. Riley captured Sammy's finger in her hand, wrapping long clawed fingers around it and gently pulling it away. That, my dear friend, is because this armor was not meant for battle. Rest assured, when I am dressed for battle, you will know it.

In retaliation, Riley poked Sammy's stomach. My wardrobe choices are, as I've said before, more of a social choice than anything. Call it an experiment, if you will.
