Again, he had lost track of the days. It had been a week...no, longer than that. Maybe two? Maybe longer? Hell if he knew any more. It had been a while and while he had made some progress (he had run into Zac and contacted his team after all) he still wasn't ready to go home.

He was, however, getting very sick of being in the same area. In a way, the whole..run..downedness (that wasn't a word, he didn't care) of it all was making him feel run down. The blonde finally decided to move on. It wasn't home, but it was at least a step in the right direction. Maybe.

Demy packed up the few things he had in his rainbow vomit backpack, shrugged it on and headed out of the building that had been 'home' for most of his time as a runaway. First step to recovery? Get out of this area, out of the way of thinking that had led him here, and back to positive thoughts.

...That was a bit much to take in all in one day though.

He powered up long enough to blink his way into an alley in the more populated shopping areas of the city before quickly powering down and stepping out. Nothing conspicuous about a teenage boy lurking in an alley right? Nothing at all! Acid eyes wandered left, then right, before heading off in a direction to do some shopping.

Unfortunately he had fogotten until just this very moment that he actually had no money on him. s**t. Mental note to self: pick up some cash on his next energy run. ..Oh well, for now he'd just have to window shop and play the part of a sad little beggar boy.

Honestly with the way he was looking (mostly absolutely horrible and in desperate need of a shower and a change of clothes) he played the part rather well.

"Trust me Emily, lightning never strikes in the same place twice."

Mindy was referring to the fact that last week, in the exact same spot they were standing, some sort of youma had appeared to vandalize the exact poor alley, and most likely its residents - or lack of. Therefore, it was simple to deduce that this week, the alley would be scotch free of trouble. To be honest, Mindy was actually hoping for something to pop up, decent in tact minions were so hard to find these days, but business tycoon daughters could not be rulers... quite yet.

This was also the reason why she was not surprised to see a something standing in her - their - path. It looked kind of humanoid, rather smelly and, was that a rainbow backpack? Talk about scant pickings these days. Mindy stopped right in front of this strange, smelly, humanoid thing, eyeballing it. "What do you think Emily, potential minion?" It really was scrawny.

"Miss, if you wished it to strike twice, I'm sure it would." Even if her maid had to assist in it's creation! "But I'd really rather you didn't have to dirty your hands with such...things." To be honest, Emily growing less and less enthusiastic about capturing a youma for her mistress. The creatures were...unacceptable. And speaking of...was that one of them in the alley right now?!

Wait no, it was just a boy, "Miss I don't think...Wheelman?" Thinking she recognized Miss Mindy's potential minion, she reached to grab his (way too thin!) arm. "Haven't you been taking your multivitamins? When was the last time you ate?" She had warned him about dying of malnutrition!

One moment he's just minding his own business, and the next someone is grabbing his arm and asking about his eating schedule?! Startled, Demy gave a quick stuttered answer of "y-yesterday? What the hell, multivitamins?" and turned to eye the two.

Oookaaaay....it...wasn't exactly something he was expecting, and he honestly had no idea how to react outside of trying to slowly free his arm from the grip of the other.

"Do I uh...know you? Either of you? And what do you mean, potential minion?"
He couldn't say that he did, but with the way everything had been going lately who really knew any more? The minion talk though...what the hell was up with that?

"Excellent, I've never seen a Wheelman before - and it even talks! This could be a bonus, or a really annoying side trait." Mindy pondered this, and then pondered Emily's reaction. The other girl seemed to really have a liking for strays, first it was a pet cat and now a... talking thing. To be honest she hadn't actually pondered anything about the talking thing past the smell, but if Emily felt a sort of attachment to it...

She sniffed. "Well I'm all for leaving it here, it smells bad but if you want the responsibility of feeding another pet Emily, by all means." The longer haired girl entirely passed over the talking thing's talking... things. It was kind of redundant to tell a potential minion they were being considered a potential minion.

As soon as the boy started talking, Emily realized she had been mistaken as to his identity. Wheelman would have been more excited and possibly initiated a complicated handshake of sorts. However, just as the seeds of suspicion began to form in her mind, her mind processed his answers.

Yesterday.

Yesterday.

She let him slip her grip, and then reached for his sleeve instead, with a certain firm delicacy she generally reserved for glass and other highly breakable items. Taking the other girl's words as an order rather than a certain piece of resigned acceptance, Emily nodded, "You can count on me, Miss!"

Returning her attention back to the boy in question, she answered, "Minions are unimportant at this stage, instead let us talk food. And personal hygiene." She leaned in closer for a sniff, not drunken hobo disgusting, but not up to Miss Mindy's standards either. "If either are neglected you could die, and it would be extremely improper for you to die in front of Miss Mindy unless she requests it."

She craned her head up to look the boy straight in the eyes and for a moment, an extremely brief and to be immediately forgotten moment, she thought she recognized something in them. A small frown tugged her lips and she looked away. "Understood?"

"....Well I do like food, and I also like not dying so this seems like a pretty good gig so far. As far as personal hyg---"
The sniffing and the sudden looking in his eyes slightly unnerved him. The boy shied away, not really feeling up to being judged, so to speak. Or hell, even looked at in the eyes. For some strange reason it was just so weird lately...he didn't really know why. Or cared to try and explain. Whatever.

"So uh...yeah, totally understood on the not dying in front of Miss...Mindy, was it?"
Demy glanced at the quieter girl, figuring this to be Mindy. Which only left the other one to be identified.

"Uh...I'm Demy?..."
He stared expectantly, waiting for her to introduce herself as well.
