She was preparing for the party. Today was a big day, and she didn't like big days. She had to actually clean up her dirtied fur. She didn't like that part one bit. She was going to be uncomfortable without her dirt.
Maybe, she thought, I can still have a little bit of dirt packed way deep into my fur. No one would notice, right?She was preparing to take flight into the new world of Mossflower, where the party was being held. This party was a reunion for all their fathers and mothers before them. A tradition to have a reunion to have the children come together.She just wasn't up for it, unless Tokee would be there. Except Tokee would try to bath her in front of everyone, so having him not there would be good as well.
Now it was time to spread her wings and take flight into the sunlight day.Grudging, she crawled her way to the end of the hollow tree's whole and poked her head out. Sun blinded her for a second or two.Trying to get used tot he light. Her sensitive eyes would have shielded her sight and she would have crashed if she didn't allow herself to get used tot he sun first.
Now she was ready. After blinking a few times, her wings stretched out on the sides of her, giving her the span needed to take flight. Jumpping out of her tree hollow, she flapped her wings, glidding and flying towards her destination.

 JackRabbit had already made the trip the day before, his reasons being that the trip would be long and rough so he needed a bit to recuperate before he went to the party. He needed to be looking at his best after all.
In fact, he was just waking up in a abandoned den he had coincidentally found. He had planned to take a nap, but that nap just so happened to bring him to the next day instead. In fact, it was well into the afternoon by now, he had practically slept the day away. Not that a pirate like himself cared so much. He wasn't late, so there was no big deal, right?
Slowly he opened an eye to the mangled roots, rocks, and dirt around him. There were dead leaves and moss below him, which had made a comfortable place to sleep during the long sleep.
He rose from his position, yawning and stretching. His back popped a bit as he did, and possibly his shoulder. Then, looking down he spotted the letter.... A frown was cast across his face, and he sighed sadly as he bent forward a and snatched up the letter from the ground. Stuffing it back into his shirt quickly. "These friends better be pretty important you two...".
And from there, he hopped out of the den, exploring Mossflower for the place written on the message to meet his parents old friends. Or at least, the children of their friends.
Tokee had awoken bright and early that morning, though it wasn't to start traveling early. He had other plans for today as well, after all. He had to take his morning bath, had to clean up his hallow a bit. Do a little of this, do a little of that. It was only when he saw a certain little bat fly by in the middle of the day that he remember that today was the big party.
He took flight into the air, following after his little bat friend. She didn't seem to notice that he had began following her though, probably too focused to notice. And so, he slowly began flying faster and faster, closer and closer to the bat.
Though they had somewhere to go, he figured it'd be alright to play one little prank on his friend. He did love to play with her~
And so, he traveled a bit higher then her, watching her from below him until finally he figured it'd be the right time, " HOO HOO!!" He made his best attempt to sound like an owl and waited for her reaction.

Qwop was peacefully flapping her outstretched arms and flattened skin. Her fur danced down the sides of her as the wind whipped around her as she flew. She loved to fly, but she liked her feet on the ground more in case of emergencies... like an owl attack.
Hearing an owl she fluttered her arms faster and she dove for the ground, but in mid air she realized that was the worst owl impression ever. Turning her head up at the sky, she squinted her sun-blinded eyes. "Tokkee?" She asked, her ears flopping next to her. If this was Tokee, she was going to hurt him for making her heart race quickly.
Landing softly, she looked back up at the sky for any signs of her blue-feathered friend. It was too bad the sun blinded her, so she couldn't really see if it was a friend or a predator.
